Upon check in the receptionist provided us with a map of Rome and highlighted the areas which we should visit. Throughout our stay he was quite friendly and always willing to help (forgot to get his name but I think he was the youngest of the 3 we met at the counter). The hotel is situated walking distance to the... More

My girlfriend and I (both mid 20's) spent 3 nights at the Igea in March. We booked at short notice (2 weeks) and it was the best value and highest rated hotel available in a central location. The hotel is located in the streets around the main Termini station. Its not the nicest neighborhood, but we never felt unsafe at... More

rome is very expensive so don't expect much for your money - while we paid more here than any other city we visited in Italy, it was nice and very central. breakfast was in the price and was a nice continental. would recommend if you don't have loads of money to spend on hotel.

The staff here was very kind, and the service was very helpful. No wifi in the room, but there was in the lobby and a computer downstairs free to use. Breakfast was just some pastries/drinks, but was nice to have and the waiter was very kind. Cappucino and hot chocolate was DELICIOUS :) The room was very nice, clean, and... More

We stayed in the hotel on our trip to Rome. The hotel is reasonably ok, rooms are noisy in mornings. Location is very near to the Rome station (I recommend using the Metro). Staff is very nice and friendly. There is no internet in the rooms (just in the lobby)

Me and Boyfriend stayed at the Igea over new year 10/11. I booked it in October and all other hotels in the centre where already creeping up in price but the Igea seemed reasonable. Plus points The location is great, you are within walking distance of just about everything apart from St Peters which is a short metro ride away... More

We stayed in the hotel on our last night in Rome. Hotel is reasonably ok, rooms are noisy in evenings. Location is very near to the rome station which is good. Staff is just about ok (The waiter at the breakfast was quite grumpy when asked for a hot chocolate!). Its ok for short stays if you are looking for... More

We booked here for our short break to Rome for £80 per night, which I thought was a good deal for what it is worth, hence the 4 star rating - based on value for money. The hotel is located near the station, making it a good base for getting around - despite not being in the heart of all... More

Hotel Igea - less than 5 mins walk from the station - good location for a lot of the sites either by walking or jumping back on the underground. However noisy on streets at night and couldnt shut windows due to air conditioning not working. Hotel basic budget hotel - room very clean, small bathroom but nice hot, powerful shower.... More

Best location. Nearby to everything even to halal shops. Breakfast is good and the room is clean. Worth with what you paying for. It would be better if they have a coffee bar in the room.
