This hotel is right in the centre near key sights and plenty of good restaurants. Unfortunately even though we booked our five night stay three months in advance it became a chapter of problems. Our friend who was in a double for single occupancy had to move after the first night, our “deluxe” room was up two flights of steep... More

We enjoyed the wonderful Murano glass chandeliers and beautiful panoramic frescos on the walls and ceilings. Our room was lovely and warm and quiet, with silk on the walls, the bathroom was Versace and really classy witha superb rain-shower. Staff very friendly and the breakfast waitress worked very hard, there was a great deal of choice and her scrambled eggs... More

We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Pantheon and I cannot really fault it. The room was lovely and clean. We were up on the 4th floor at the front and yes, in the evenings it was a bit noisy, but that is what you would expect when you choose to stay centrally in a lovely older establishment on a... Staff are attentive and helpful, room clean and everything it needs to be. Best thing about this hotel is it's location. Literally 30seconds from The Pantheon! Amazing. Lots of restaurants around the square. Or head to piazza navona approx 5 mins away for more choice and a different view :) We walked to trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Vatican City, colosseum... Packing on our final night here at the Pantheon. Was greeted by Therese on arrival who was friendly and very helpful. Therese gave us great information on walking, eating out etc. . The gentleman on reception were more than helpful. Free wifi access for guests. Rooms were beautiful with everything you need. Fantastic shower after a day touring around. Location... More

Great location, super staff, and not too expensive given the location in the heart of the city. Lovely historical sites, roman streets, excellent restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops at every corner. Good comfortable room, but I would only point out the inadequete shower and not impressive breakfast. Also, rooms on the front are noisy (but hey, this is the... More

This hotel was great value and we were surprised with how spacious and lovely our room was. The breakfast option was varied enough to appeal to most travellers and the staff at the front desk very helpful. Location is the best selling point -on top of everything else mentioned. Right beside the Pantheon with great restaurants on your doorstep, this... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
