What can I say? What a truly delightful hotel. We are sure we had an upgrade as the room which was on the fourth floor, had a roof garden and was huge. Really well appointed and comfortable and the hotel was in a truly wonderful position near to the Pantheon. The breakfast room was charming and the breakfast itself really... More

Hotel Pantheon was centrally located in ancient Rome. It was just a few minutes walk to many historic sites and we always felt very safe no matter the time of day. The hotel was immaculate, the towels generous, and the bed very comfortable. Every convenience was provided. Breakfast was great. The best part though was the staff. They were friendly... More

We loved this place. After a very long journey to Rome we settle here. Wow, very surprised at the large size of the room and bathroom, uncharacteristic in Europe generally. Everything was comfortable and clean. First night walked out the door directly to a square with multiple dining and drinking options, on that casual, just-say-ahh side, so good for jet... More

We stayed a few days in November and again a few days in December 2015. The hotel is in a great location around the corner from the Pantheon, as well as easy walking distance to Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Trevi Fountain and not too far from St. Pietro (Vatican). The reception staff were friendly and helpful. But the downside... More

Totally recommend this hotel. We couldn't believe how central we were to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was well worth paying to have them come and pick us up from the airport. The breakfasts were a perfect start to our days adventures.

Small, pleasant and clean located in one of the most beautiful area of Rome, you can walk everywhere in the Roma antica from there. No restaurant in the hotel and breakfast is somewhat rudimentary but plenty of bars next door.

We stayed in late November in a newly renovated room on the top floor which had two levels. They upgraded us from two separate double rooms, and the room for 4 was fabulous. Upper level had chairs that pulled out into twin beds for our teens and a full bath and lower level had a spacious sitting area, king bed,... More

Could not be in a better location, central to everything you would want to do in Rome. We walked everywhere from the hotel. On a lovely street with plenty of restaurants, a few squares with further restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. Lady on reception was very helpful and friendly. Room was small, but fine for our 3... More

This hotel is in a brilliant location right next to the Pantheon. It is extremely clean but that is where the praise stops. Before we arrived I requested a quiet room as I wanted to rest during the day (due to recovering from illness). Our room was on the top floor and had recently been re-marbled so was very clean... After 16+ hours of travel we arrived at the Hotel Pantheon only to be told our room was not ready due to construction so we would be moved to a sister hotel across town. We booked this hotel 11 months in advance to ensure we were in a central location and then we get bumped. They paid for the cab... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
