Best location. Metro / Train station and bus stop is less than 5 mins walks. If you have the Roma pass, then all major places are are just 5-10 mins in metro / bus. The lady at reception is very friendly and courteous. She gave us a map and with suggestion on places to visit along with bus numbers. My... More

We stayed at the Everest hotel in Juin for a very good price of 100€/night for a room for 4 persons. The location is great and is 5 min from the termini station and 15 min from the colosseum. U should pay attention when finding the hotel because it is on the third floor of a building: not very easy... More

Location is 5-10 minute walk from Termini station, 10-15 minutes to Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Staff is really really friendly and courteous. I had a double room with private bathroom, which is excellent for the price. Bed could have been more comfortable but room is very clean. Breakfast not included and hotel is on the third floor of what... More

A five minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk to the colosseum. It is on the 3rd floor. There is a lift if you need it. Staff is very helpful. They let us drop our bags off early. The wifi was excellent. I'm not even sure if there was AC, but it did get a bit hot... More

I cannot stress enough how nice the hotel staff is at The Everest. Our bags were lost by the airline, Alitalia, and for two days solid, the reception staff was on the phone, trying to find our bags. Despite the English / Italian language barrier, we managed to figure everything out. They really went above and beyond! The rooms are... More

The hotel is only 5-10 minutes away from Termini station, very easy to Reach even if you have big luggages. Its on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a building that consist of small hotels just like everest. room was just plain, but it has private bathroom which is good considering the low price. No free breakfast or a cafetaria,... More

Great location, bit hard to find as of the main road and in a block of hotels, so you need to keep your eye open for it. Very clean hotel very helpful staff, don't recommend paying for the breakfast as it's not very good at all, the coffee is warm and the Orange juice is not fresh.

We stayed in the Hotel Everest in July last year. We arrived at termini at 10pm and wanted somewhere close by to stay before we headed for our euro camp in Campania the next day. We got a warm welcome at reception and were shown to a lovely cream spacious room (family room for 5 of us). We headed out... More

We stayed at Hotel Everest Roma from October 16-18, 2014. It was our first stop in Italy and we loved the location of the hotel. It is a 3 star but clean and comfortable. We had an issue with our air conditioner while there (it was hot for October) and they provided us with a fan which did the trick.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
