Wife and I stayed here around 10 days in November. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean etc. Really nice. Fabulous bathrooms. their is a good continental breakfast though the time-frame (couple of hours fairly early)must be observed. The location is fine if you are a really good walker or don't mind using a cab or subway with a fairly long walk... More

My son and I were on just a 2 day stay in Rome. We choose the Colosseum B because of its location and great reviews. We were not disappointed. Very clean. Very friendly. And great for the price. You will find everything needed for a comfortable stay here.

The place is very well maintained and the location is even better. The hosts Valter and Daniela and very helpful and caring. It is very nicely connected to all the key locations especially the Colloseum, Will definitely revisit.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in April and it was stunning. Valter and Daniella were so friendly and accommodating. They gave us a map and highlighted all the places we should see and the various ways to get there. It was extremely useful as some of the areas were not highlighted in any tourist book/guide. The... We arrived on a very warm day. We thought it was a closer from the metro and walked there after going in the wrong direction with luggages. We felt very hot when we arrived. Valter was waiting for us with fresh coke. It was sooooo refreshing. that little attention was really appreciated. He was so nice and took the time... More

Thank you very much to the whole family who made our stay at this comfortable B&B a great experience. We were visiting from Macedonia for a few days, and stayed here, only 100m from the Colisseum. Located close to taxis, buses, 20min to airport, and train station. Super clean and comfortable rooms, friendly family always offering to make us coffee,... More

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 5 days between Christmas and New Year's and returned for the end of our trip in mid January. Valter and his son Francesco were very helpful, gave us info how to get around Rome and maps, recommended restaurants, etc. Room was clean and neat. There was a kitchen and laundry available.... Perhaps not... More

Had a wonderful short break in Rome, great location - quiet central street and warm, welcoming hosts. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Owners went out of their way to make us welcome, thank you and we will be recommending you to our friends and family. We hope to be back.

Our family (2 adults + 2 small kids) stayed there in early July 2014 for 6 nights. We were going to book the room through Expedia (104 euro/night), but after contacting the owners directly we decided to book with them direct. The location is perfect. We walked from the Colloseum metro station, and found the B&B located at the end... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the B&B. It was our first trip to Rome and we had a fantastic time. The hosts very most welcoming and friendly. They explained how to get to the top sights within Rome and how to use the metro and bus services. Fresh towels were left in the room each day. The whole B&B... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
