We arrived on a very warm day. We thought it was a closer from the metro and walked there after going in the wrong direction with luggages. We felt very hot when we arrived. Valter was waiting for us with fresh coke. It was sooooo refreshing. that little attention was really appreciated. He was so nice and took the time... More

Thank you very much to the whole family who made our stay at this comfortable B&B a great experience. We were visiting from Macedonia for a few days, and stayed here, only 100m from the Colisseum. Located close to taxis, buses, 20min to airport, and train station. Super clean and comfortable rooms, friendly family always offering to make us coffee,... More

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 5 days between Christmas and New Year's and returned for the end of our trip in mid January. Valter and his son Francesco were very helpful, gave us info how to get around Rome and maps, recommended restaurants, etc. Room was clean and neat. There was a kitchen and laundry available.... Perhaps not... More

Had a wonderful short break in Rome, great location - quiet central street and warm, welcoming hosts. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Owners went out of their way to make us welcome, thank you and we will be recommending you to our friends and family. We hope to be back.

Our family (2 adults + 2 small kids) stayed there in early July 2014 for 6 nights. We were going to book the room through Expedia (104 euro/night), but after contacting the owners directly we decided to book with them direct. The location is perfect. We walked from the Colloseum metro station, and found the B&B located at the end... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the B&B. It was our first trip to Rome and we had a fantastic time. The hosts very most welcoming and friendly. They explained how to get to the top sights within Rome and how to use the metro and bus services. Fresh towels were left in the room each day. The whole B&B... More

Very comfortable if simple rooms with access to shared kitchen for guests. 3 blocks from Colosseum, metro , ATM and many good restaurants. Daniela, Valter and son Francesca were very welcoming with info and help even before we arrived, such as arranging driver from airport. But the real selling point of this hotel is their dedication to helping clients. I... More

This B&B was just what we needed; a friendly service with great advice about Rome, the local restaurants and travel details. We had use of the kitchen if we needed it and the room (with en-suite bathroom) was clean and nice. The B&B is a few minutes walk from the Colosseum so perfect for any trips around Rome. We walked... This was one of our favorite spots during our stay in Italy. Hosts were extremely welcoming and full of advice on attractions, transportation and restaurants. Amenities were terrific-we used kitchen daily. Room was spacious, clean and well kept. Location was convenient to Metro and good restaurants, super market and daily produce stands. Despite being in a busy area, it was... More

This B&B is centrally located (minutes away from the Colosseum) and next to plenty of cafes and restaurants. The host was very sweet and the room was very clean. For breakfast, you get vouchers to go to a choice of 2 cafes which offer a cappuccino and pastry. It was a great stay, no noise issues. We will be back!

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
