We went out of season, got a great room rate for couple with baby. Very good interior design, higher quality than we expected. Really good buffet breakfast with lots of options and friendly service. Overall staff service was excellent. Baby friendly environment, offering us a cot and had a ramp to get in and out with pram. The place was... More

Rooms are relatively large but have no amenities such as a kettle or iron. Very stuffy, poor ventilation. The location however is fantastic to see all the highlights by either walking or jumping on a train at the Termini which is a 2 min walk. Area is safe to walk at night and there are several restaurants for breakfast within... More

We booked a short 3 night break through lastminute.com. After arriving by train it was a short walk to the hotel, managed to beat the rush of people arriving at around that time in the evening which was great as the lounge area where you waited whilst they checked you in is very small and fills up quickly when you... Great location. Room was a bit small but clean. Downside to this hotel is the service and their 4 star rating. The hotel used their 4 star rating to charge higher local taxes. This hotel at best is a 3 star hotel.

We booked a short break on Lastminute.com. The Royal Court looked very good, although it wasn't in our preferred area. We arrived by train from the airport and had to walk some slightly dubious streets to get to the hotel. Reception staff were efficient and welcoming. We were shown to our room which was in a building around the corner... More

The hotel is well placed and the personnel are sympathetic. Breakfast is not bad. However the Rooms for family ( quadruple) are very small. They proposes simply a double room for four person adding two extra beds.

We did not arrive until 2am due to a delayed flight. However, this was not a problem and the staff were just as attentive and helpful at that time of night. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
