Hotel Royal Court is not just another hotel close to Termini. It's got everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, individual A/C, conveniently located. What makes this hotel stand apart from the rest is it's constant customer service. "Yes sir" and "No problem" are the phrases you'll hear most often. Another thing... More

Very good hotel, top service and friendly helpful staff. Very clean and very good quality service. We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for getting around Rome with everything within walkable distance, the Termini (main station) was just over the road with easy access to buses, metro, train and taxis. There was plenty of good quality affordable places... More

just finishing our short stay in this very pleasant hotel, very conviently situated near the Termini so easy to get to places. The room was at the top with its own patio area, very nice. Like another reviewer said the bed was hard but that was ok for us - not sure if it was the hard bed or the... More

A great location if you want to be next to Termini train station. We were in the only room on the roof/fourth floor which unfortunately the wifi didn't reach but we did have a little garden terrace which was lovely. The bed was very firm/hard and the pillows were flat, which I found uncomfortable but my partner didn't mind. The... More

I visited for 3 nights with my mum, the hotel was lovely! Check in was quick and easy, we were given maps and they drew on where all the main attractions were. Staff were amazing, especially Georgia, thank you for making our stay so amazing! The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Termini station so very handy! Breakfast was... More

The room was decorated well, with wooden floors and fabric wall coverings. Aircon was quiet and worked well, much needed after the heat of the city. All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was a buffet with a good range of choices, even for fussy eaters! Walking distance of the station and therefore easy to get... More

We spent what should have been 3 nights here, the room was lovely and we had no complaints. The only reason this gets 4 stars is we had to spend the first night in an alternative room due to someone not checking out. This hotel was supposed to be the same quality but it really wasn't, the room wasn't as... More

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were varied (continental) and the rooms were clean. this is a boutique hotel. the room bar did not work well, but the hotel supplied plenty of ice. located within walking distance of Termini station. location was good but not the best of areas.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! A little expensive compared to other places we stayed at in Italy, but worth it for the location and room quality. It's right down the street from the Termini, so you don't have to carry your bags far if you take the train into Rome. Room was very clean and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
