We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Bolivar. It was to celebrate our anniversary and we were traveling with our two year old. The room they provided us was one of the best in the hotel with a beautiful patio that looked out across Rome city center. Absolutely gorgeous. The room was a bit dated although they said it... More

The Hotel Bolivar is in a great location for walking everywhere in Rome. The breakfast room is located on top floor with pretty views and was delicious. Great coffee and cappuccino. You could even pack a little sandwich for later. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms not huge but adequate. Would certainly stay here again.

Husband and I spent 7 night at Hotel Bolivar last summer (I'm a little behind on writing my reviews). We were thoroughly pleased with our stay here. Staff was very friendly and eager to be of assistance. Our room, while small, was very comfortable, nicely appointed, and clean. The daily breakfast had a wide variety of selections and the coffee... Despite the garbage filled entry this hotel is a little gem in the centre of Rome. It has the smallest lift and bathroom I ever seen. The breakfast was great (packed a roll for later) and the staff brilliant. Very central and a walk to everywhere. Trip booked to Vatican was only €63 and skipped the ques... They booked our... More

Having done my research via Trip adviser, of course, came across this hotel. It appears to be in a little back street but this enables a quieter accommodation as Rome never sleeps!! We found the staff very helpful and accommodating. Very willing to help and make suggestions. The hotel was very clean and that also goes for the room. The... More

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for five nights. When we first checked in and saw our room, we were underwhelmed - not that it was terrible, but just didn't seem to consistent with the reviews we had seen on the site on which we booked. By the time we'd been there a couple of days, we'd decided... More

Have stayed here for work and with family. Extremely well-located for easy access to many of the most famous sights in Rome. Rooftop room for breakfast is very nice but breakfast itself needs a bit of attention. Reception bar a nice spot for a night cap, wifi works well throughout the hotel. Plumbing is fine. We had a terrace off... More

My wife and I stayed at the Bolivar Hotel for 4 nights at the end of February 14.It is located centrally and we never walked for more than 10 minutes in any direction to reach a major attraction. The front desk staff (Angelo e Sante ) were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast also was very good on the... More

The location is definitely one of the reasons we picked this hotel. The hotel is located near most of the important sites such as the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly Rocco, who couldn't have made us feel any more welcome. The breakfast was delicious every morning with hot scrambled eggs and bacon. There was... More

We stayed here two nights. We took a train from the airport to the Termini station and walked to the hotel from the station. We arrived too late to purchase a SIM card so we had to use GPS coordinates for navigation. Unfortunately, the coordinates listed on the Choice website (N41.905392 E12.493144) are WRONG! These coordinates led us to a... More
