Would have given this hotel an excellent rating had it not been for the wifi which is just impossible to connect to. Was getting signals in only one corner of the room and was forced to move one of those seats to that corner each time I wanted to surf. Other than that, this hotel is fantastic. Located less than... We stayed at the Atlantico May 16-19. We arrived around 11:30 and even though the checkin time was much later they allowed us to register and have our room. The staff is highly professional and look to help you as best they can. They speak English fluently. The room we had on the 4th floor was large and airy with... More

Although our Late check-in, hotel staff were good service. Just simply speaking, quite nearby Rome termini station, clean room, not bad breakfast which was appreciated for first night, late check-in, after 14hours long flight !

Alberto was very helpful and patient in answering most of our queries. He understood us and treated us very well, knowing that we were first timers to his country. He was also helpful in sending his bellboy to the railway station with all our 8 suitcases ! The room given to us was very comfortable. Thanks a ton, Alberto !!

We booked this for a three day stay in Rome. we wanted to be near Termini rail station for ease of transportation. This hotel was an easy walk to the Hotel and the service was great. The night of our arrival it was raining cats and dogs so we had some cocktails on the roof Garden Lounge. The hotel was... More

We received no service, no help! We had a room without working Aircon, they didn't wanted to turn it on for us even though we asked 3 times! The rude man in the front desk just answered " it's not my problem" We got yelled at when we visited the wrong breakfast room in the morning. The terrace was only... More

Like most travellers have already mentioned, this hotel is super ideal location-wise.... a few minutes' walk from Rome Termini train station which takes you directly from/to the airport in 30 minutes. It is also close to most of Rome's main attractions and the many restaurants in the area were all fabulous. We had a double room, street side, on the... More

My brother and I enjoyed our stay here. Walking distances to Termini, museums, churches, and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable with table and 2 chairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty and complete breakfast buffet.

Good hotel. Fair price. Ideal central location, directly opposite main rail station and bus terminus. Easy walking distance of most main attractions. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms furnished to high standard. Good, varied buffet breakfast. Surrounded by good restaurants. I know where I'll be staying again next time I'm in Rome - Hotel Atlantico.

Stayed here on my flying visit to Rome. Found the room well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were superb pleasant well mannered and not intrusive. They have a rooftop garden restaurant which I looked forward to visiting however torrential rain put a stop to that. Given the opportunity I would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
