Make sure you call ahead of time. There is no reception! The room was booked by my travel agency so I was not aware of this until I arrived and had trouble even finding the place. It's ony 10 mins walk from the station and very close to the university and hospital. Sitting outside waiting for the owner to turn... More

Location is great, just a few minutes walking distance from Termini but in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. Rooms are lovely, comfortable, equipped with everything one needs for a pleasant stay (TV, mini fridge, cups, glasses, water boiling machine, large mirror, clean towels) and cleaned on a daily basis. The staff were very nice and helpfull and the price... More

I recently stayed at the Chroma Tessera B&B in Rome, Italy. This was my fifth trip to Rome and I've always stayed at a B&B. The Chroma Tessera is by far the best place I've been at. The room was clean, renovated, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was great. This may be true... More

We would like to thank personell of this hotel for help and assistance during our first visit in Rome, 2014 end of February- beggining of March . Partly grace for accomodation in Chroma Tessera, we 've got a very estetic view about Rome in general and about cosy little hotel in particular.

The hotel is very close to the metro station, and is only 2 stop away from Spagna steps. The staff is very friendly and compliant. Room is clean. Free wi-fi. Bathroom is clean and the shower is great. I dont have any cons. I will stay there again.

This hotel it is located 3-5 mins on foot from termini station. As u go from termini to Chroma Tessera, it is located on your left hand and it has a tiny sign at the apartment at which it is located. The people are very friendly, especially Mrs Lovely, a sweet Chinese girl. The hotel is very clean, we had... More

Also walking distance from Stazione Termini. No flags or huge signs outside, but a small sign on the outside gate. Very calm place although in downtown. 3rd floor with elevator. Total 5x rooms. Bathroom: very clean and large with chromotherapy. Try it. Good welcome at Reception. Free wifi. Continental breakfast incl.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
