Great location, just a few minutes walk from the main Rome train station ( Termini) the staff were very friendly and helpful, they even looked after our luggage for a few days while we were in Pompei. Such a great hotel we stayed a second night. Very clean rooms, fantastic service and breakfast.

The location to Termini Station is terrific (less than a block). We only had a few days to see Rome, and the proximity to the Metro is perfect. The hotel itself was clean, could use some updates, but is reasonably priced. We needed something budget friendly and close to the Metro. We didn't go to Rome to sit in a... More

We really love this hotel. Its 3 star hotel but with 4* service. The service is a way better than the price. The hotel staff were really nice, and helpful. The room was comfortable, they even have a whirlpool in bath! The location is just perfect, just 1 minute walk from Termini train station. You can see the sign of... More

Just came back from here today, the hotels location is amazing for tourists, it's so close to the termani station and everything is there. So easy to get around Rome from here. But the hotel is in need of a huge refurbishment, the carpets on the stairs are black, the rooms walls are a shade of black and a massive... More

It's our favourite place to stay when we are in Rome. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful, they recognize you when you come for the next time. Excellent location, very clean rooms, good breakfast, everything fresh. I will come back for sure.

We spent 5 nights in Hotel Corot at the end of September. The location is great, very close to Termini station & lots of restaurants around. Hotel staffs are very helpful & pleasant. Free in room Wifi & air-con. works well. Rooms are very quiet & comfortable. Definitely will stay in this hotel again for our future visit in Rome.

We spent 2 nights in this basic hotel which had been booked for us by our Travel Agent. It is centrally located in walking distance for most of the tourist attractions in Rome. I think that the price per night was the biggest attraction. It looks pretty grubby in the entrance and stairway areas, but the room was clean and... More

Pros: Great location for getting to Termini station and close to many restaurants. Clean and tidy hotel room. Free wi-fi in rooms. Breakfast was what I would expect from 3-star accommodation. Cons: Beds were severely uncomfortable, street light shone directly into our window, aircon had to be controlled from reception and jacuzzi was just a bath with jets (and we... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
