The hotel room was pretty average, looks like it needs some work done as there were many stains in the walls (mainly around the air con) and a faulty socket next to the bed. Breakfast is served till 10am and even though we arrived at 9:30am, we found hardly anything left, we asked about it and they said that was... More

Location (5 out of 5): The hotel was located directly across Termini station - a 3 minute walk away so it allowed us to save time and money on transportation. However, it was located in one of the lanes (not facing the main road) so I had some difficulties locating it. The hotel was also walking distance to a few... More

We are a spanish couple who travelled to Rome for 4 days. The hotel was very nice and clean. The location was wonderful and near to Termini station and Republic square. You can go by walk to the city center!

We primarily stayed here because it was so close to the termini. Walking to the main sights took us about half an hour each day, which we didn't mind as we were only here for a few days. The rooms were nice enough and the breakfast was really good.

Very close to the termini station, very convenient and centrally located! Small rooms but then was sufficient for basic requirements. We were a family of 6 and had booked 3 rooms. 2 rooms were provided together in the ground floor which was very convenient and was very clean and neat and the staff were very helpful! A special thanks to... More

If you're looking to explore Rome and only use your room as a place to sleep then this place is just right. Nice and close to Termini station as well as bus pick up/drop off points for the airport. The room is tiny, the bathroom is tiny but it served us well as we only came back to sleep at... More

We needed a room for one night in Rome while in transit and chose Hotel Corot primarily for its great central location. It is literally across the street from the Termini station. The service was really good and they let us leave luggage there a couple of days beforehand while we traveled to Sorrento and also arranged taxis for us... More

The room was clean, the location was great a short walk to Rome Termini but the Bathroom need a upgrade. the door of the shower kept coming out from the track. its was sometimes noisy because of the people outside but not a very bad thing.

Booked this hotel due to location. Located within 100m to Termini station which is very handy for travelling. Although it was located close to Termini, the area around the hotel is otherwise safe and I didn't see any dodgy looking people around. The hotel has its own entrance but to go to your room, you have to cross the corridor... More

We spent 2 nights in Rome catching the train in from Fumicini Airport, so we chose this for convenience and budget. The hotel is a 1 minute walk from Termini Station. Plenty of cafes, ristorante, super markets etc. All hop on hop off bus tours have a stop at Termini, as well as catching further trains north after. Hotel and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
