I stayed here for three nights. It's truly a comfortable, quiet and clean B&B (which I guess are most you'd expect from a good B&B). The breakfast is (self-)served in a small kitchen and includes a variety of choices (cereals, different flavors of capsule coffee, tea, nutella, bread, fruits, cakes, ..). The staff are very kind and friendly. Each time... More

Urbi Et Orbi is situated in San Giovanni which is about 15 minutes from the Colosseum. The staff are welcoming and the rooms are basic but clean. We had a private bathroom which wasn't en suite but which we were given a key for. The bathrooms are nice with spacious shower rooms and very clean.

We have appreciated everything that this B&B has to offer: location, safety, cleanliness. Alexandru, the administrator, is particularly attentive, professional and well-informed. The kitchen is well-supplied and extremely handy if you are looking for a budget stay in Rome.

Perfect little spot, good value for money and good quality. Alexander the b&b staff guy was helpful and accommodating, even offering to let me leave my luggage after my check out on my last day, (which I did, thanks!). The place is modern and spotless, it was cleaned every day. I am a solo traveller and so I got a... More

Urbi Et Orbi was last place we stayed on our Italian honeymoon. We had been there for 5 nights and overall can say, that It's one of the best B&B's you can find in Rome with good location and great price - value combination. But not everything was looking so good at the beginning. We have booked it about 1.5-2... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in September 2012. The hotel is situated in a quiet building with other businesses and residences so make sure if you are arriving without a taxi you have the exact address of the hotel as there won't be a sign draping from the building as you may expect from a hotel. The... More

Lovely quiet, clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Nicely appointed and modern. The location is within walking distance of the colloseum and easy walk to te nearby metro. There is a supermarket nearby and a nice clean communal kitchen which is such a welcome addition.

This was our first experience to stay at B&B. When we booking this for our stay in Rome, we found little uncomfortable with rates.Later when were contacted by the owner telling us how to reach and what to expect, we started realizing we are in for a surprise. And we were. Our room was the best, very tastefully designed and... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
