My wife and I stayed here for three nights. The staff in general were helpful and cheerful, breakfast was good, room was very clean and the air con was a blessing as the temperature was 96F! The hotel was in the middle of nowhere byt transprt was good. The 451 bus is an excellent frequent service, but you have to... More

We've just returned from a weekend in Rome, 15th-18th June 07, where we we spent three nights at this hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous. The facilities were what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express with one exception - no kettle in the bedrooms! If you want tea or coffee you need to buy it at the bar.... More

This hotel is in the middle of NOWHERE!!!! It takes forever to get to the city. It is a very clean and very nice hotel. The buffet type breakfast is fabulous, and the staff are very nice, but it is such a hassle to get everywhere. You have to take the shuttle bus to the train station and ride the... More

The Hotel is clean and nice. The staff are great. BUT, the location of the hotel is really far from everything. If you want to go downtown, then euther use a taxi which cost at least 25 Euros and 45-60 minutes each way or take the hotel shutel and metro. If you stay here then you go out in the... More

I've been to the Holiday Express Inn, Rome East, last November 2nd, 2006 for 3 days with my wife and our 2 kids. I have read some bad comments and hesitated for a while but finally decided to go for it. The price was very interesting. I have to say that the hotel is very clean, the rooms are large... More

Knowing Rome quite well we booked this hotel. However even the taxi driver from the airport got lost and did not know where it was.The taxi was also 65 euro which is rather expensive.Once at the hotel they provide a 1/2 hour bus service to the nearest metro but unfortunately this only seats 16 people and many people were complaining as... This hotel is located outside of Rome. They do have shuttles that take you to and from the subway station but they only run at certain times of the day. The staff is rude and corrupt. The first night we were recommended to go to an overpriced restaurant where the hotel staff clearly receive a kick-back. What a rip off.... More

This is a really nice hotel inside, but it's fundamentally flawed and I would advise against staying here unless you are really comfortable about its limitations. The hotel is in quite a rough area of Rome, not the roughest by any means, but pretty bad all the same. Don't let anyone tell you to take the 451 bus - you'll... More

We stayed at the Holiday Inn at Via Giorgio Perlasca, Rome East in September. The room was clean and had 2 English channels on TV. There was no pool and there was no internet access as the PC had broken down. Breakfast buffet was good. We parked in the secured car park as the surrounding areas did not seem very... More

We found this hotel quite ok reasonably priced for a family of four (2 kids stay free) and decent inside... the location is not the best, not the easiest to get to.. it's about 20 minutes from the centre of Rome via the Metro getting off at Ponte Mammolo station and then a bus ride away from there... the hotel...
