This is a really nice hotel inside, but it's fundamentally flawed and I would advise against staying here unless you are really comfortable about its limitations.
The hotel is in quite a rough area of Rome, not the roughest by any means, but pretty bad all the same. Don't let anyone tell you to take the 451 bus - you'll likely be approached by hookers and junkies even in daylight. Amore?! Unless you're street-wise and handy it is not a good idea to go wandering in the vicinity of the hotel once you're there. I know Rome pretty well, so please heed this advice if you do stay there. The only reasonable way in and out is by vehicle. The shuttle-bus to Ponte Mamolo metro station is fine but the metro has a habit of going to bed before you do.
This hotel has no restaurant - though the website says it does. Coupled with the inadvisability of wandering far this is a real limitation. The rooms have no mini-bar, but do have coffee-making facilities, a rarity in Rome hotels...
