Stayed 2 nights at beginning of Globus Italian Mosaic tour. This was a great hotel, but you are very reliant on metro/bus/taxi to get you to any of the tourist sights you may want to see. (Unless you are willing to walk significant distances.) The hotel is sort of 'tucked' out of sight, but once you get there it is... More

I stayed at the Hotel Albani for 6 nights during my first trip to Rome. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel. 4 out of 5 stars. Pros - Location: only a 15-20 minute walk to the train station. - Room was much larger than I expected. Well laid out too! - Good water pressure, room clean/fresh... More

Very comfortable hotel that reminded me of My Walit italian leather purse. We loved having a sofa in an extension of our bedroom, comfortable bed, both CNN and BBC, hearty breakfast (did not need lunch), pleasant staff. The location in a quiet residential neighborhood was near the Borghese Galley and park. Otherwise, it was not walking distance to central attractions.... More

Hotel Albani was the hotel of choice on a tour. I don't know if I would have chosen it on my own but it was a very pleasant hotel and I would not hesitate to go back. The decor is Italian modern--lots of color. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quiet because of a residential location. Bathroom was... More

Very clean and client friendly hotel. Very good value for money with an excellent breakfast and good transportation links to the city centre. Was slightly put off by all the negative remarks about the staff but it all turned out right with everyone of them quite polite and helpful. Rooms very clean and airy, slightly on the warm side but... More

Our accommodation for a two night stay in Rome at the start of our tour. Hotel was very clean and well located, with staff who were reserved but helpful upon request. The rooms were spacious with a balcony, what stood out in the hotel decor and especially rooms was the very colourful tiling use of tiles, was provided a new... More

The hotel is a nice one, in a nice residential area and very quiet. We appreciated the ability to have a good nights sleep after our very noisy hotel in Paris. The staff was less than friendly, maybe because we don't speak Italian? It was not confined to the front desk either, the wait staff for breakfast seemed less than... More

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights during Christmas and new year. Many hotels in Rome are old and uncomfortable, but this hotel is modern and clean with a very good location. Transportation to the center is easy using bus or tram (no metro station close). Good value for money as it is not in the middle of all... More

Our tour group spent the last two nights of our tour at the Albani Roma. I found it quite comfortable, with a pleasant staff and a nice restaurant for breakfast. I can't address the value aspect as it was booked by our tour. It was within an easy walk to the Galleria Borghese.
