If central location is important, this hotel is really in the midst of things. Less than five minutes from the Pantheon and maybe 10 minutes to Trevi. Colosseum and Vatican are each about a mile or so away, but they're easy walks. Our room was small and could use some updating, but it was functional. The rooms are air-conditioned, but... More

Yes it is ideal for several monuments, however that's about it. We asked for a nice room due to it being our 20th anniversary, and our first time in Rome. We got a very very tired and old room. Most of the furniture was scratched or damaged in one way or another. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. However the... More

Positive: - in the middle of the city center, 2 min. from Trevi fountain, 1 minute from the Pantheon. - nice view from the terrace during breakfast on the top floor. - there is always 3-4 police cars right under your window. Negative: - WiFi is NOT included (7€/day). - breakfast is not "fresh" and they re-use the coffee from... More

This is our third stay in Rome in two years and this hotel will probably be the one we come to again (unless the prices go too high!) The location was absolutely perfect. It seemed like everywhere we wanted to walk was within 10 minutes. It's across from the Parliament so it faces a huge square. It's a block from... More

My family and I have just returned back from a short city break to Rome. This hotel is rated as a 4 star and is ideally situated for local main tourist attractions, which was excellent. However, upon arrival we were allocated the two rooms booked many months prior and even though I had written to the hotel outlining our trip... More

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Overall it was fine but there were a lot of minuses. I agree with all the comments on location - couldn't be handier for the Pantheon or the Trevi fountain. The hotel is comfortable - I had a single bedroom which was a good size (compare single rooms... More

Do you want to walk to Piazza Navona in ten minutes? The Pantheon in 4? Trevi Fountain in 5? Piazza del Popolo in less than 20? Spanish Steps in 10? Then this is the place you need to be. The Colonna Palace is a great spot to be in Rome - right in the middle of the historical centre. And... More

Wonderful location within walking distance to everything in Rome worth seeing except maybe for the Vatican. Indifferent staff at times with attitude of "what do you want?" My single, tho was a double bed in a nice large room with large bathtub/shower and view out onto the square and the obelisk. There is a bar which I did not use... More
