Apart from the name, this hotel is not what we expected from a Marriott hotel. It is not central at all so it is not very convenient to go out, especially if you are planning to maximize your time to enjoy Rome. The room was large enough for a couple but deserves some renovation as most of European hotels. The... More

What you can glean from many of the reviews is true. It is not a city center hotel. One can get downtown easily, and the train is cheap, but the hours are limited and it takes time. The dining options are limited in and around the hotel as well. There is a supermarket a few blocks away and there's an... More

The hotel was nice, but the staff and service terrible. We wanted to use our "reward points" to pay for the staying, and my husband clearly stated it in the "remarks" field when making the reservation. But on the check-in we were informed, that our credit card is already charged. We said, that we want to pay with "reward points"... More

Stayed there for 4 nights. Nice, spacious room with a balcony and great view. The breakfast was served in a nice restaurant with terrace. The front office staff was quite friendy, especialy the lady with curly hair who made the check-in, she did her best to be helpful. The hotel needs some maintenance though. The bathroom was clean and had... More

I recently held two company conferences at this hotel April 15-19, 2013. This is not your average Marriott Courtyard hotel, it is much more. It's lobby, restaurant, conference facilities and hotel rooms are much more posh and appealing than the standard Courtyard. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was excellent with many buffet choices. The lobby has 3 computers... More

I stayed here with my family in May 2013. We had planned to take the commuter rail up to Gemelli station which is just a few blocks from the hotel, but when we went to book our ticket, we discovered that the train does not run as often as we wanted (we were in a hurry to meet someone there)... Enjoyed our short stay. Front desk, and Bistro staff pleasant. Short cab ride (15 mins) to Vatican. Be sure to ask for view room. Very good American breakfast, served til 10:30 in case you're tired from previous day and sleep in a bit. Train station is short walk, 10 mins. So, if you are comfortable with Rome transportation, this can... More

My husband and I stayed here in early April for two nights to acclimate to new time zone before driving to Umbria and Tuscany. The hotel was well maintained, rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and desk staff was friendly. We had a small balcony overlooking the park, which is sloped and not very inviting. However, the hotel is miles... More

This is a very comfortable, clean hotel with excellent facilities and in a pretty nice spot. The room and bathroom were very nice, with a nice balcony and after staying in a few other hotels in Italy that were more "traditional" (turn off the heat at night and so on), the Courtyard Central Park was a welcome change. Breakfast (buffet)... More
