The hotel is quite FAR away from downtown Rome which is good as the neighborhood was very quiet but BAD because you either had to pay 3 Euro/person or do a 5 minute walk to/from the Gemelli train station which hooks up with the Roma Metro. This takes least 1/2 hour each way. This made it very inconvenient when returning... More

We stayed here on Marriott points. It's a bit out of the way, not in the heart of Rome, about a couple miles NW of the Vatican. The hotel has an hourly shuttle that they offer for 3 Euro per person (each way) and drops you off in front of the Vatican - a bit pricy. There is a metro... More

Just returned from a short business trip and had to stay in this hotel mainly because it was next to the place I had my work. Its quite a distance away from anything and is in a quiet residential area with nothing nearby. They have a shuttle bus that charges you 3Euros per trip and drops you only to the... More

Had to stay here last minute because of another place overbooking so it was very pricey being last minute and you have to pay for wifi on top of that and for me, wifi was my only way of communicating with my family who stayed behind in America so it was a necessity. Wifi didn't work the first night. Nephew... More

My husband and I stayed here for a short break at the start of the may. The hotel was lovely, but it is on the outskirts of the city, so we took the shuttle bus (€3 each way) to downtown (close to the Vatican), it took approx. 20-25 mins depending on traffic. Rooms were clean, food in the Bistro was... More

We stayed last weekend in April 2012, mainly to use points. We were upgraded to a room with a wonder view of the Vatican/city. We used the hotel shuttle to get to and from the city. The only drawback is that it does not run after 9pm. Simone/ bar area, was very friendly and pleasant to be around. All the... More

I probably sound like a snob, but my husband and I spent two week crossing all over Europe staying in the most fabulous hotels and eating at the best restaurants; then, we met up with my husband's sister, her husband, and our three nephews and niece in Rome for the last leg of the trip. Maybe it's because everything had... More

the marriot courtyard is a good business hotel I spent one night there while attending a conference; however it is not handy if you want to visit the city. rooms are comfortable and at the average level of international hotel. I was a bit disappointed in discovering that the minibar was empty. the hotel offers international breakfast, but I would... More
