Booked because of the location, to start of with woke up in the morning to have a shower no hot water. The shower head also just slides down, complained and was told leave it running till it heats up, so following morning let it run and still cold. Second day got back from tour, went back to our room to... More

I took my girlfriend to Rome for her 30th birthday. Found the Gallia through a travel agent and it was pretty cheap for the location and time of year. The room was very large with a rustic feel to it. It was clean and tidy, maybe a little dated for some peaoples tastes but we enjoyed our stay. The location... More

The location is the best thing about this hotel as other reviewers have said, although we got a taxi back from the Vatican in the afternoon and it was 23 euros, not 10 as another reviewer said. The hotel is jaded and our room (305) was disappointing. It was quite dark, only having one window, and noisy. It was not... More

I visited Hotel Gallia as me and my girlfriend went away to visit Rome for 4 days before Christmas. Upon arrival we left our luggage in reception (as check in is 1pm, I've noticed some people seem annoyed when told they can't check in, but that's when it is and it says when you book). I also didn't think anything... More

I am totally perplexed with some of the negative reviews; The last one particularly!! First of all this Hotel is in a fantastic location being just a 5-10 minutes walk from Termini railway station so you are ideally positioned for all the main attractions. The staff were very gracious and accommodating, looking after all of us impeccably. My partner and... More

We stayed here during our visit to Rome and found the hotel to be quite good. There were 4 adults and a child in our group, in 2 rooms. Both rooms were very good size, especially compared to some of the others we had stayed at in Italy. The location was very central we could easily walk to the Colusseum... More

Nice location. Hotel itself quite good. Met all expectations. Front desk staff appears little aloof and cool to customers. Appeared to us that they would give information or recommendation only if asked and that too very to the point. Hotel is on a busy street hence noisy. Overall recommended

The best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in. Wonderful breakfast, helpful hosts, rooms are gorgeous and the location is walking distance to all Rome has to offer. Highlight is the rooftop terrance overlooking Rome!!
