My family, 6 of us, spent 4 nights at this hotel in early June, 2015. We had two rooms, which were both good sized, but a little dated on the decor. Pros - Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The location is good, being just a couple of blocks from the Termini train station, and pretty close to other attractions such... More

We arrived at the hotel to a welcoming receptionist who didn't speak English too well but he was funny and he did his best. The room was very much like a motel room. Nothing special, the room was clean but not what we would call 4 star. The next day we went to a different receptionist for some advise on... More

Very disappointed! Staff at reception not very helpful or welcoming! Room big, but: broken old shower needing changing Asap! Dust under the beds! Wallpaper coming off! Dark! We stayed for 3 nights and asked for the shower gel/shampoo to be replaced the 2nd day. All we manage to get was 1 more little one for the rest of the stay... More

This is a traditional hotel a little tired decor wise but add to overall experience sadly the weather precluded what would of been a nice little meal on the roof terrace which the hotel are very happy for you to bring in and enjoy up there along with wine staff friendly breakfast if there was a draw back it was... I have recently stayed at Hotel Gallia for 5 nights and had a room on the 4th floor. The seating roof terrace was nice to relax and take a drink with you which was on the 5th floor. The lobby was OK not spectacular and the room was basic but fine for me. Positive points: Great location for most attractions... More

Dear TopKingofKings, we are very happy to receive a positive review from a Tripadvisor Top Contributor. As you can tell from the title, our visit to the Gallia Hotel in Rome was grim. The room was grim, the staff grim and the price, ultra grim. Firstly, Rome is expensive and the Star Rating system in Italy very different from that [in say] the UK or Spain. The Gallia was rated 4 STAR but by UK or... More

Whenever we travel to Rome, this is were we stay. Its walking distance to everything, train station, ruins, restaurants and markets. Breakfast is included, and the server is the sweetest woman. The accomodations are nice and the roof top terrance is breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Upon arriving we told the front desk we were in pest control and if they had a bed bug problem. Desk told us no.... but had a problem awhile ago, but it was handled. Checked room out pretty well, tipped chairs, headboard, mattress, baseboards etc. Woke up next morning with bites on me and wife. Checked under sheets found 2... More

Dear Jimmy L, we are sorry for having been below your expectations. The bed bugs weren't there when the cleaning has been made, they were probably brought in by previous guests, as you know this sort of things do not depend on cleaning, which we do everyday. The sculpture is historical Bernini piece, we are sorry you didn't like it.... More

Had our first trip to Rome and we chose this hotel because of it's location and outside terrace. First impressions were quaint and quirky and appeared to have everything we needed. We were given the room on the 5th floor which was a nice big double bed with additional dressing room, bath with spa and looked the business. Just outside... More

We spent four nights in the Gallia. Staff very polite but hotel very tired and dated. Tiny little window in our room - lights not very bright so couldn't read maps etc! Breakfast was the same day in day out. Only fresh fruit was melon, everything else was tinned! Nice roof terrace, but nowhere to get a coffee to enjoy... More
