The hotel was in the perfect location, near the train station and metro and within easy walking distance of the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine and not too far from the Vatican. Had a great room overlooking the Santa Maria Maggiore and piazza, spent a few relaxing hours in the friendly bar just down the road watching the world go by... More

It was very welcoming hotel! the people and the feeling that you had there! always very gentle and with a big smile! the breakfast at the rooftop was excellent!! :) we really loved it! The distance of the trainstation was not more than 6-7 minutes walking! and you could walk the whole city by starting from this hotel! :)

When we first arrived, we were greeted by a smiling Italian chap, as we had arrived early our room wasn't ready. No big deal. The smiling Chap told us we could leave our baggage in the sitting room next to the breakfast room, now me being the cautious skeptical type stared at him, which made him reassure me it would... This hotel has a great location with easy access, to the train station, metro, colosseum, forum, and most other attractions in Rome. Good Value too. The staff was most friendly. Our last day we had an early flight and had to leave before breakfast would be services. They so kindly back us breakfasts to go. Highly recommended!

It is very close to the termini, and some other sites, hop on hop off and the bus station as well. It is on the third floor, there are other hotels in the building by the way. They don't have breakfast, free wifi, but the room although good size and clean bathroom, was so noisy at night the elevator( extremely... More

This is the 4th time we have stopped at this hotel and will return again, the hotel could do with a bit updating eg decorating etc but it doesn't bother us as only use as a base, we could not fault the friendly staff and the way we were treated, the reception staff even remembered us and welcomed us back,... Firstly, let me say this is not a 4* hotel (maybe Italy's standard it is) but I see it more as a 3* hotel, and that it purely because of the services it provides. I would say it is definately a 3* but that does NOT mean it is a dump or worst hotel ever, as people are stating -... More

How wrong we were the hotel looks nice enough from reception was given our keys, got to our room, and the door had clearly been kicked in(you could see in the room without opening the door) so inspected was bit tatty n scuff marks, so went... hotel in perfect position can walk to most of the sites. Hotel is old and in need of some remedial work ,but kept clean ,beds comfortable ,breakfast was standard continental style. Hotel should be rated 2/3 star not 4.We all enjoyed our stay and the roof patio was nice to sit and rest after a long day walking.
