Great general location BUT our flat was 3 blocks from the main building and it inhibited our use of the terrace and made the trip to breakfast a bit of a walk - to be fair, I've stayed at many U.S. Resorts which required a longer walk on their own property to get to the main building so one must... This is absolutely the best place in the best location with the best staff that i could possibly aspect from this trip. You are right in the pedestrian area of the the city. everything is just a stone throwing distance from the hotel. The room we were given was in the annex and we just loved it. It didn't have... Upon check in, we walked 300 meters up the road to an apartment building. This was the annex building of the hotel. Do not book the annex building of the hotel. The "room" is part of an apartment block on the first floor. The room is dark and the "kitchen" is no larger than a closet.

We arrived with a complimentary transfer, early in the morning on Sunday and we were greeted with a smile for a quick chek in,the room was just ready. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on 20/8/15. We pre booked a room and a private transfer from the airport directly with the hotel. The driver met us at the airport and 40 minutes later we were at the hotel (I recommend this quality service - 60 euro each way). On check in we were upgraded -... More

Visited this hotel for three nights in August with my boyfriend. We chose this hotel due to its locations, the reviews on TripAdvisor and the price (we got a good flight/hotel deal through BA). On arrival we were asked to go up to the roof terrace as the hotel was just about to check in another party and due to... More

We are seasoned travelers who look for unique adventures. This 17th century hotel at the base of the Spanish Steps was unbelievable. The rooms are all exquisitely decorated with comfortable beds, AC and up to date private bathrooms. The hotel had complementary breakfast and cappuccinos with afternoon snacks that were delicious. The terrace offered a view of the Spanish steps... More

We chose this hotel for a five day family break (adults +teenagers 15/17), due to its central location. And we were definitely not disappointed. Situated at the foot of The Spanish Steps, all the key sites are within a short walk. There are lots of restaurants and shops on your doorstep too. The hotel is small, with no real bars/restaurant... Loved the room itself--very comfortable; good a/c (really required during this summer's heat wave); small but adequate; bathroom was a little tight, but high-end finishings. The location is good from the perspective of access to everything, and very very safe to walk around at night. We weren't really interested in the ultra-luxe shops in the immediate area, and it got... More

This is a review of the Annex Studio in via Due Macelli (4/10) plus the breakfast provided by the Main Building in Via Condotti (9/10) which we booked for my husband’s parents during their 5-day stay in Rome in July because they are allergic to many foods and had to have a usable kitchen to prepare Mum's meals. The Annex... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
