While in Rome we stayed at this hotel . Very nice small hotel with a roof top restaurant . The breakfast buffet was great , shame the coffee was always on the cold side . Very close to the basilica and the Vatican museum . The centre of Rome is also in easy reach on foot . Great locations for... More

On arriving at the hotel & you check in at the small entrance way, you are given a door key as opposed to a plastic card and have to return this key on every trip out, old style was quite quaint I thought, however on inspection of the hotel it is very tired large water stains on the ceiling &... Loved: the cosy feel of this small hotel; kind staff; Fabrizio's fine sense of humor; their help arranging a pick up from and a ride to the airport; perfect location right in the heart of Rome and walking distance to the Vatican, Castel di San Angelo etc.; close to the metro; great breakfast and capuchino in the open air garden... Great hotel about a ten minute walk from the Vatican. Comfortable room if small. Breakfast on the hotel rook was amazing, great food and plenty of it. We received a warm welcome on arrival and invited to the roof terrace that night for a glass of wine. An extra plus was the bar next door which served excellent food and... More

Great hotel, clean and tidy, room a little bit small but ok. Shower etc worked very well and a very comfortable double bed. The hotel staff were very helpful recommending a bus tour for us and giving info on the local (excellent) restuarants and a very good local bar. Rome was a great place to visit and lived up to... I wish I'd caught the names of the 2 concierges. The man that worked the desk the first day we were there was very rude and made it very clear every time we came in that we were disturbing him. The other man was pleasant enough. He called cabs for us and helped us when needed. The first man was... More

This is a nice hotel it was clean with a good working shower and provides a good breakfast which can be eaten Al Fresco as it has a cute little roof garden and also has WiFi. It is local to plenty of shops and restaurants, although busy in the day it was surprisingly quiet at nite so sleep goes undisturbed.... More

The Hotel Dei Consoli in Rome is well located and quiet. The staff, Antonio and the manager who runs the restaurant were excellent. The terrazza is superb for breakfast with wonderful atmosphere. The room was very small but the shower wasn't very good. There was no room for a table so we felt cooped in. The bed was comfy. We... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel Dei Consoli and I am sorry to say that this is not a good hotel. We booked through Secret Escapes and the reviews were ok and it was rated as a 4 star hotel. I should have known better as the price was very reasonable, however... More
