This small, older, hotel has an excellent location, close to St Peter's Square, Castell Sant Angelo and the Tiber river. The amenities are not plenty and the rooms, at least ours, are small. But they are also clean, the beds are good, the windows take away the noise from the street and the staff is helpful. The view from the... More

We loved this hotel and have now stayed twice, first floor first time, Junior Suite on the second floor the second time. Clean, comfortable , friendly are the first words that spring to mind and they will suffice. The roof terrace for breakfast is great. Don't rely on the bar being open, and we hope before we return that they'll... More

Stayed here for a week, arriving on February 18th. We were allocated room 102, and completely unpacked before finding out our safe didn't work. A handyman arrived within 5 minutes, and was unable to fix it, so next morning we moved next door to 103, a much better room. Although not massive, we had an amazing shower set over a... More

All the staff were very welcoming. Our room was comfortable and we had a balcony. Breakfast was self serve, so you could have as much or as little as you wanted. A good selection and the staff were forever filling it back up and clearing tables. Lovely scrambled eggs, wish I could make them like they did. No tea or... More

Just back from a short trip to Rome. We had a fantastic time and this hotel was really well located for us. It is a very basic hotel but everything you need is here. The rooms are very comfortable and I felt a sense of coziness here. I would definitely stay here again.

Location of the hotel is quite good, because it is close to Ottaviano metro station. Many hotels in the city are not located anywhere close to a metro station, so this is a big plus. The hotel is next to a shopping streets. There are plenty of restaurants, clothing stores and convenience stores. The room itself was okay and the... More

Rooms small but adequate for holiday where we were out all day; clean; comfortable bed. Breakfast unappealing - coffee awful. By the last day, having tried everything on offer, most of our party of six ended up having tea, toast and yoghurt. Good bar/restaurant at end of the short street was a bonus as we could all meet there; the... More

We have stayed here three times over the last few years. The first time was to see more of Rome and the Vatican to which it is easy walking. The other times were overnight stays. We have had lovely rooms over looking the street and any noise is well muted. The hotel is a genuine classical presentation with wide stone... More

This is supposed to be a family run business who pride themselves on service. One would hope that the gentleman on reception who each day wouldn't even acknowledge us - morning or night, quite frankly we were clearly disturbing him from viewing his TV monitor & chewing on his fingers. Being the first person you see on entering the hotel... More

The hotel is old. I think most of them are like this in Rome. It needs a renovation. Very old furniture. The bathroom is very small. They gave us a room, but it had a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Then we asked to change and the other room was ok. Location is good for those wo wants to... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
