Booked this hotel through the Secret Escapes website. It was good value for money . The room was comfortable but the decor was in need of an upgrade some of the wallpaper was torn and scuffed in our room. The bathroom was spacious and shower good and well stocked with toiletries. The location is ideal for St Peter's Square- 10... More

We stayed in Hotel Ca Centopietre in October this year and I must say that we had a very comfortable stay , the hotel is cozy and tidy and big rooms, located at a very central point with 10 minutes walk to the Vatican City. The staffs are very polite, helpful and friendly.

We got a great rate on this hotel only a few blocks near the Vatican and public transportation. It is an older hotel, but the bathrooms had been redone and the room we had, Jr. suite, was big for this age of hotel and nicely decorated. Comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very nice and the staff SUPER helpful about... More

This hotel has four stars, but you have to be well aware that it doesn't show up to four stars, maybe not even three stars. The bathrooms are sparse and have seen better days. The first floor is smelly, in rooms on the third floor you can hear the noise from the horrible horrible breakfast room, which you better name... More

Warmly welcomed with top notch service, this spot deserves its placement in the "Small and Elegant" hotel catalog. Breakfast included and served on the rooftop with enclosure options if weather is in-climate. Best things about the hotel was the rooftop dining and warm service. Least liked the typical European small sized room.

Traditional hotel, built before there were en suite facilities so rooms are small. Good service, great roof top balcony for meals, but location almost next to Vatican is a plus.Would stay there again.

This hotel is rated as a four star and maybe that is true according to European standards, but definitely not what I have experienced in the U.S. The room was very small for two people. There was no dresser, only a closet with 8 Hangers and three small drawers. We were in room 105 and three times during our weekly... More

Stayed 3 nights, great from very start, concierge, sorry can't remember name, tall with beard, was so so helpful, he gave us great tips on how to avoid lines in Vatican museum and coliseum without spending a fortune and always spent time chatting. The room, although furniture slightly older was well equipped and good size, comfortable bed and great shower... More

Stayed two nights at Hotel Dei Consoli, a central hotel but not in the busiest part and with walking distance to the main sightseeing attractions. Our room was a bit small for two persons but still ok since we didn't spend much time there. They had a nice breakfast on the roof terrass with a nice view over the city.... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
