Location of the hotel is quite good, because it is close to Ottaviano metro station. Many hotels in the city are not located anywhere close to a metro station, so this is a big plus. The hotel is next to a shopping streets. There are plenty of restaurants, clothing stores and convenience stores. The room itself was okay and the... More

Rooms small but adequate for holiday where we were out all day; clean; comfortable bed. Breakfast unappealing - coffee awful. By the last day, having tried everything on offer, most of our party of six ended up having tea, toast and yoghurt. Good bar/restaurant at end of the short street was a bonus as we could all meet there; the... More

We have stayed here three times over the last few years. The first time was to see more of Rome and the Vatican to which it is easy walking. The other times were overnight stays. We have had lovely rooms over looking the street and any noise is well muted. The hotel is a genuine classical presentation with wide stone... More

This is supposed to be a family run business who pride themselves on service. One would hope that the gentleman on reception who each day wouldn't even acknowledge us - morning or night, quite frankly we were clearly disturbing him from viewing his TV monitor & chewing on his fingers. Being the first person you see on entering the hotel... More

The hotel is old. I think most of them are like this in Rome. It needs a renovation. Very old furniture. The bathroom is very small. They gave us a room, but it had a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Then we asked to change and the other room was ok. Location is good for those wo wants to... More

We spent three nights here and enjoyed it very much. The room was of good size (room 306) and the staff was very friendly. The view from the terrass wasn't really that good over the St Peter's basilica, but you could se it from one part of the room. The outdoor area wasn't open at this time of the year,... More

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights during our honey moon . The hotel is in a great location close to Saint Peters square & the Vatican . Our room was quite spacious ,very clean & quiet . Every morning at the hotel's roofgarden , we had the chance to have an excellent breakfast that suited almost every taste.... More

Was booked into this hotel for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. Supposed to be superior room But could not swing a cat. The room was tiny and the bedspread was ripped. Extremely warm room and even with heating off had to open window. As the room overlooked a major street the noise was a great problem. The breakfast was... More

Arrived here after a fantastic few days in Florence & was absolutely gutted. Had booked this place expecting a comfortable four star in which to spend my wedding anniversary what we got was faulty towers without the laughs. This hotel is tired and in need of a overhaul. The tiny lift is scruffy & rickety, the rooms are small dark... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
