When we arrived at the Pace Helvezia Hotel the clerk informed us that there were no rooms available at the hotel due to it being overbooked. We were surprised since we had a confirmed reservation. The clerk told us that the hotel management, Leonardi Hotels, had booked everyone who had reservations that day at one of their other hotels, The... More

Kind of old-style but nice. And you find yourself in the very heart of Rome. The breakfast is mediocre; if you have a choice have a cup of coffee and a snack in some cafe in Rome: would be cheaper and authentic

The most remarkable thing about this hotel - its location. You can reach on foot both sightseeing ( Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Roman Forums etc) and shopping ( Via del Corso, Via Nazionale). Staff on reception is really excellent ( I stayed at the hotel several times and never was disappointed). And one more positive thing about this... More

Second visit to this hotel, previously with my husband but this time with my daughter. Room was fine but shower a little troublesome but we coped. It was eventually dealt with. Attractive dining room with a very satisfactory continental breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. The biggest selling point for this hotel is its location within walking distance of all the... Excellent hotel in a brilliant location in Rome. Stayed here as part of a birthday trip for my girlfriend. This was recommended to me by a travel agent and i was not disappointed. The hotel offered excellent views over Rome and was near all the key landmarks. The hotel was possibly a little dated however everything else made up for... More

Good hotel with fantastic roof terrace with great views. Room might been a bit small but as we had a inside room it was very quite. Very comfortable big bed. Nice staff and big breakfast buffe. We are very pleased with our stay.

This hotel is superb! We went to experience Rome and this hotel offers just that. If you are expecting a modern hotel then go for one of the bigger chains eg Hilton. But... if you are after a great Italian hotel then this hotel is perfect. Tucked around the corner from the colosseum and truely in the heart of Rome.... More

We visited Rome for 2 days as our son was running in the Rome Marathon. The hotel was situated just 700m from the Colosseum which was pretty much the start and finish of the race. Althought conveniently situated for the Trevi Fountain and other attractions, do not stay here if you like a peaceful nights sleep. It is quite possibly... More

Location is just one of the positives with this hotel. Central to most of the sights you want to visit, Short walk to Trevi fountain, Coloseum, and all the other tourist sights, main shops, rustic back alleys, restaurants and bars. We are the wrong side of 60, and a nice amble to the Vatican took around 40 mins. The Hotel... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
