This hotel is was a mixed bag of experiences. The bathrooms are poorly fitted, moldy and smell bad inspire of being 're-done'. On the other hand the staff with the exception of the bike riding guy who parks in the front lobby were very nice. Being of South Asian Descent but American was not a plus. Breakfast was pretty good... More

We stayed at this hotel from 8th-12th June 15. It was my birthday on the 9th and we walked into our room to find a note that said best wishes from all the staff and chocolates placed in a heart shape on the bed. From that moment we knew we were onto a winner. I had emailed the hotel months... More

Ease to metro station for touring Rome. We were able to easily use the metro for getting to/from the tourist destinations throughout Rome. Family friendly. The breakfast has something for the entire family. Staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located in a bit of a quirky neighborhood. We were a little concerned with the graffiti on the walls and the apparently abandoned building across the street, and there was a burned out car a block from the hotel on the way to the metro station. The streets seemed deserted at first and we weren’t sure how... More

Dear Springer2, thank you very much for spending your time expressing yout experience with us. As you had the chance to state personally the exterior appearance is different from our reality. We love our guests and their families and the atmosphere is no doubt familiar. We wish to see you again. Warm regards, Andrea Marchiò-Quality supporter. More

The hotel was x2 metro stops from terminology so relatively easy to get around. Would have been nice to have been given a basic map with hotel on to say termini as not showing on the lonely planet map I had. The actual hotel was very clean. My room was nice, the shower had good water pressure although the cubicle... More

We booked 2 double rooms, one for us and one for our elderly parents. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, they all spoke English and we were very impressed with how they supported our stay. The rooms sizes are good. One had a small balcony and a larger room and the other was... More

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the Termini train station and about 10 mins walk from the Policlinico station on the blue metro line. We had a nice 'family' room with a King bed and 'two bunk beds'. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite large. Breakfast was excellent! The... More

This hotel is pretty average. The parking is free but it's street parking and if you don't find a free park from the few spots you have to pay for parking. Located in a pretty convenient location, lots of eating spots and shops close by, also close to a university. Rooms small, bathroom very small, breakfast is excellent. Area doesn't... More

Hotel staff was very courteous and our stay was excellent. We had problems with ants in one of the rooms and when we mentioned to hotel staff they immediately found a solution and moved us to another room. The food was excellent and the accommodations as well. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel in the university area of Rome. Pleasantly surprised by some of the extras offered - coffee and croissants on arrival. short walk to metro then 2 stops to Termini to change for easy access to all the main attractions. Nice bars and hotels in this area too - just nothing opened on a Sunday! Staff were excellent and... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
