first time in Rome we booked Astoria Garden through our booking agent. Glad we did. This was such a charming and quaint little place with access to Metro Stop, Termini Station, and our hop on/off buses. We could literally walk a few hundred yards and grab whatever mode of transportation we needed for the day. The staff at the hotel... More

We really enjoyed this hotel for many reasons - it was extremely clean, greeted by a very friendly reception staff, quiet with a beautiful garden terrace. It is close to many attractions and we always felt safe while staying there. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Hotel staff were very helpful in giving us directions. There... More

Me and my sister stayed here after reading reviews, on arrival we were greeted by a friendly reception staff who throughout the stay we're helpful with directions etc breakfast was fine as expected. Rooms perfect size for couple. We had a garden room which was adequate, bathroom was nice not too small. Room was quite dark but that wasn't a... More

hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and room was a good size for two people. close to the station, and some good restaurants nearby. only a 15 minute walk to most of the major attractions, so the perfect base if you are 'training it' around Europe and want somewhere close to the main station to save on transfer costs and... Three blocks from Roma Termina doesn't sound too appealing until you walk up the stairs of this hotel. You are greeted with smiles and a helping hand. A booking glitch was smoothed over quickly and we we settled in our room we we were always greeted with a smile and were made to feel welcome all the time. The hotel... More

Our travel agent suggested this hotel as a one night stop before going on to a family wedding. Being an easy walk from the station was handy as we were making our own way from the airport. We were greeted by name on our arrival, our rooms were fine and despite the location it was quiet. Breakfast the next morning... More

Room was small and musty. Faced road and was noisy. Service was begrudging. I stayed with my daughter and had my husband come to pick us up, and they said he was not allowed in the room for more than 5 mins. They first said begrudgingly I could have 30 min extra on checkout then the new receptionist said he... More

This hotel is wonderfully located within easy walking distance of Termini rail station and Plaza della Republica and is very reasonably priced. Although neighborhood is not the greatest the hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and well-decorated. All staff were personable, professional, accommodating, and helpful and breakfasts were quite good albeit more of the continental style: pastries and baked goods, cold... More
