The hotel itself is in a great place far enough away from the heart of every tourist, but is within 2 stops of almost all of the sites, and at most 4 stops on the metro away from all of the tourist sites. Staff are extremely helpful, able to make GREAT recommendations for dinner, and if you have an issue... More

This hotel is walking distance from many great sights including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. The staff is very helpful. Room was small but so clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size with lovely toiletries. Breakfast on 6th floor was perfect and the view was great. We will be back!

Distinctive Location, as it was within walking distance to Trevi fountain (the nearest) , Spanish steps, Pnatheon and Piazza Navona. All transportations are available in Barberini square( metro station, buses and city tour buses) You will find all of them just few blocks away from hotel. I asked for a family room (connected rooms) and it was beyond my expectation,... More

The Barberini Hotel experience was great. It is classically decorated and very clean. Service at the front desk was very helpful and professional. Location is in the center of Rome, near Barberini Square and easily accessible to all major Rome points of interest. We would definitely come back!

Good location with many venues within walking distance. Room was quite small, but with an elegant decor. The rooftop breakfast every morning with a beautiful view of the city, was just the best way to begin the day. Courteous staffing and lovely breakfast selections. Room and hotel very clean.

We stayed for 5 nights, and really liked this hotel. When choosing it I was looking for hotels with a hairdryer (only took hand luggage) and breakfast, the wellness spa bit was an added bonus. We didn't use the spa-I did try and go in just to use the spa bath but was turned away and told I had to... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while sightseeing in Rome. The hotel is completely on par with my other, very pleasant, Italian hotel experiences. The rooms are very nice (small yes, but very well appointed, think of a nicely decorated ship cabin) and are plenty comfortable for the few hours you'll spend in them; you're in Rome remember? You can take... More

Dear Guest, We thank you to have chosen our hotel for your stay in Rome and we are glad to know that you enjoyed our property. We appreciate your note about “….think of a nicely decorated ship cabin”, it sounds very funny… the idea of a ship cabin in down-town overlooking Rome’s roofs and St. Peter moved us and we... More

Had a lovely time in Rome with my wife and daughter at the hotel Barberini. We travel a lot with our travel membership and this was a great find in Rome. Clean rooms, very good location around the corner from the underground and walking distance to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Felt really safe in the area and although not... More

This hotel may be 4 star by facilities on paper - but as any traveller knows, service makes the true star rating and this was 1 star service. From the reception attendant smoking (didn't get his name but he was on duty 9th 1800 and 1000 on 10th June) to the breakfast "team" of 2 people, to the maid ignoring... More

We have just returned from a week at the Barberini and we had a very pleasant time. We have to agree with most of the previous positive comments on Tripadvisor. Yes the rooms are small (it's the centre of Rome). The rooms can be noisey if you leave the windows open (once again, it's the centre of Rome), but with... More
