We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Great location - close to a metro stop, convenient airport transfer, and very close to so many attractions and places to visit. The room was very comfortable and very clean, the staff was pleasant, and the included full breakfast certainly helped to start the day. Will gladly go back there!!

The location is perfect at Barberini Hotel and has the Roman ambiance that works so well... in Rome :) You can walk to Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Coliseum, though they are not literally 'up the street' (wear comfy shoes!!). The rooms were nicely appointed with a soaker tub, which was very welcomed after a long day of sight seeing.... More

We fell into Barberini after a failed experience with another place ... we got a great deal on a great place with wonderful: friendly, competent and nice people. Rooms are different from each other, so ask to see what is available (of course #505 takes the cake) ... we eventually got to #505 when it became available during our stay.... More

My wife and I stayed here four nights in June of 2014, we both really loved this hotel. Rooms are a little small but it's Europe and is expected. Very nice, helpful staff and walking distance to most all of Rome's great sights, Trevi fountain, pantheon, piazza navona, and so on.

Ok Rome is tough when doing it per pedes. But this hotel was the one that most annoyed me in Rome as it is situated on a steep road and from the main attractions you'll always end up dragging yourself up the hill to go back to the hotel. The staff was well mannered and used to old school courtesy.... More

The hotel is very well located, just some steps from Piazza Barberini, it is not in front of the Piazza that is the Bernini hotel, and this is actually a plus for the hotel, there is no noise coming from the street, but you can literally listen to everything happening in the rooms next to you. Staff was very kind... More

The hotel was in a great location. Minutes fro the Trivi fountain (under repairs until 2015) and the Spanish Steps. The Vatican is a 1/2 hour walk or 4 stops by the Metro located at Plaza Barberini, a 5 min walk. The staff were very friendly and the view from the breakfast room on the roof top was very nice.... I stayed in the hotel for one night for business in a single room. The hotel has nice cozy lobby with a very nice personal that serve with a lot of care. The Room was very small, slightly claustrophobic, but everything was clean and in place. Breakfast was very good compere to same hotel level, and it was served on... More

Hotel room is very small but from what I have learned, most rooms in Rome are small. Clean, nice and convenient. I would return there if I found myself in Rome again. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Three weeks ago we spend our last 3 vacations nights in this hotel. The hotel is situated in a perfect place , within a walking distance to tourist places. The rooms are nice. well equipped not to big but had everything we could have asked for. The service was excellent , especially in the front desk... always willing to help... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
