This hotel was just perfect for a short city break. So central. Staff would go out of their way to help. Offered us a very reasonable late check out. And the staff on the 6 th floor are lovely. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Just perfect.

Really nice hotel well located, very obliging staff, really nice breakfast with nice views. Although rooms are very small, they are comfortable. We would have liked a floor on the 4th or 5th floor....

Great location. Ten minutes walking to the Spanish Steps. Ten minutes walking to Trevi fountain. Short hike to Ruins. Good food located close by. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. If you need the internet, this is probably not the place for you....on and off and on and off. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Rooms were pleasant. Wifi does not work, period. Breakfast was okay, but not great. Staff not overly friendly or helpful, in fact a little defensive. I don't know what else to say, so I'm going to leave it at that. Waiter at breakfast was pleasant to males, but barely acknowledged the woman at tables (very old school).

Dear Guest, We are a little bit surprised about your review, you will be so kind to give us further details in order to check out the events, because we don’t understand the meaning of “old school” and “little defensive”. Kind Regards Emanuele Ricci Sales Dpt More

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at Barberini Hotel. We were excited about visiting Rome for the first time. We wanted a luxury hotel that was close to the various museums. The one and only positive about this hotel is it's location. From there is goes down hill. The AC is terrible unless you enjoy sleeping in a... More

Dear Guest, We are a small boutique hotel in the very center of Rome and, as easily show from all our reviews, our rooms are not so big, we can say “very intimate”. We wish to remind you that you can control the AC from your room and, for any kind of assistance, we are at your disposal. Following your... More

Yes, the location is good as you can walk to most sites. Also, there's shops on either side of the hotel where you can buy water, drinks & snacks for cheap. What upsets me is when I did a search for hotels I specifically requested wifi & AC as the minimums. Well, the wifi does not work in the room.... More

Dear Guest, We apologize for your review and we really regret for the uncomfortable stay you had in our hotel. We do reconfirm that we had problem with wifi connection for Iphone and Ipad, due to an Apple security standard update that didn’t match our wifi system. Now it’s fixed. When guests are out of the room, the Ac system... More

Good news first and the reason why it's even a poor rating. The location was good and the women at the check in counter was very nice as well as the staff working the breakfast buffet. We'll start with the check in, I believe his name was Luca, what an arrogant and unprofessional individual. No help from Luca at all... More

Nice hotel in the center of Rome. Only 35 rooms, free breakfast, small but nice. Ask for room on the 5th floor with a balcony. It will have a good view and you can walk up the steps to the dining room.

Stayed at this hotel on our visit to Rome. Good location, fairly nice accommodations. However, the staff was very disappointing. They were relatively unfriendly, less than accommodating, and our trainee who checked us in could not do much without consulting her colleague, who was unavailable. So, a rough start. Later, when I realized all the pillows in the rooms were... More

Had a very peaceful and relaxing 3 nights here following a cruise. Room 401. No view, but the -01 rooms are tucked away on each floor from the other rooms and so more secluded. We did have a pro violinist rehearsing on our floor one evening, but he was excellent so we had a free concert while relaxing after a... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
