May be I wasn't lucky: I got a dark small room, almost no daylight. But the hotel for sure is beautiful and I did enjoy the good breakfast at the top restaurant, where a big seagull out of the window kept staring at us all the time! The staff was nice and friendly.

From the beginning the staff was very helpful. The rooms were elegant but European size. The restaurant was great for breakfast so we asked about dinner. We had to order by noon for dinner because everything was purchased fresh. The dinner was so good and the staff so friendly we ordered for our stay two weeks from our departure on... More

Everything was great, the room was quite small but sufficient, cozy and clean. The service was good and the breakfast buffé was not very varied but tasty and fresh. The restaurant was lovely as it was located on the top floor with a view over the city. The location of the hotel was good, close to both shopping streets, restaurants... More

Booked into Barberini hotel having been travelling all night. We had to wait for a little while until our room was ready. Rooms small but clean. Dining room has fantastic views. Hot food at breakfast was not hot and I noticed the burners underneath were gone out.The bacon was one big lump of meat. Could be improved on. Apart from this... More

We came to Rome to celebrate 25 years of marriage, we got a huge presidential suite with a balcony with stunning views of Rome and king size bed. The hotel gave us champagne in honor of the event. There is a rich breakfast on the top floor. On the lower floor there is a clean spa with indoor pool can... More

Our stay at the hotel was an experience that definitely could have been better. The location of the hotel is really good - you are walking distance from many tourist attractions which really helps. However, after an afternoon visiting the colosseum which is a must see we came back to water leaking out of the light fixture in the bathroom.... More

Hotel was centrally located, the rooms were small but clean, wifi was up & down, staff was helpful. Room top restaurant had a nice view. Breakfast was included selection was limited. Hotel location was just a ten minute walk to the Spanish Steps, another ten minutes to the Trevi Fountain, and minutes to other ruins, lots of restaurants, cafes, pizza... More

Having been to a Rome a few times, any hotel within the walls is within walking distance of anything of interest so the location was fine. The double room we had was a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. The problem was the breakfast. Not the worst I've ever but definitely the worst I've ever had that's been included... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and I absolutely could not wait to get out of it. It was utterly disgusting, the bathroom floor looked like it had never been cleaned. None of the carpets were vacuumed. My mother accidentally dropped some crumbs in the breakfast room - next day still there, same day after. The couple next... More

Dear Guest, A very professional staff takes care everyday to clean up the rooms, over-sighting by the housekeeping chief. The activities are primly scheduled from the bathroom marble washing to the carpet vacuuming. If you were not satisfied of our cleaning service, you could complain at the reception desk and a solution could be found out. The roof-top breakfast room... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Barberini Hotel in Rome. The location is great and most of the staff were helpful and interested in making our experience a good one. Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
