Just back from a holiday at Hotel Bled ( my birthday) DO NOT look at the hotel's official website as the rooms are not as shown, Air-conditioning? ( only if you open the window), Flat Screen TV ( no- old 16" fat TV). No Bar. Multi-lingual staff, I don't think so.....We had to ask when breakfast was & then explore... More

Dear Catrina B, we apologize that your first review on this website is negative and about us, we are sorry about not fulfilling your expectations. There is no bar in the hotel, because there are several in the area. When lift is in use, we kindly advice you to wait until it is not, especially if you have heavy luggage... More

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Make sure you get a room at the back of one of the 3 buildings, the front is really noisy. Rooms are a little small but ok - there is a minibar (not included, so make sure you have enough money to pay when you leave). The breakfast was continental style - cold... More

Dear aleeobm1, thanks for your kind review about our location, close to San Giovanni, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and Manzoni metro station. We don't have a bar but there are many good bars and bakeries in the area. Thanks for choosing our hotel for so many times! We hope to host you again soon. More

I stayed at Hotel Bled for a week and loved it. The hotel is clean, comfy and quaint. The staff was super. Very helpful and very knowledgable. The hotel also has a variety of terraces that make for incredible places to drink your own wine. I actually don't believe some of the negative comments. Like, I actually think they have... More

We did a 4 night stay in Rome, booked into what was listed as a 3 star hotel. Single rooms are small and compact, showers work (sometimes with hot water too) and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast looked pretty but turned out to be stale. Although the staff were fantastic, very friendly and enthusiastic. Sorry Hotel Bled but 1... More

It is a great place and really affordable. They aren't very welcoming to school groups though so it would probably be more of a place for couples. The breakfasts were great and the rooms were very clean. They also had free wifi which was really handy and were reasonably close to nearby landmarks.

I booked this hotel, then read about it later on Trip advisor! I was prepared to walk in, complain, and hammer the barclaycard getting another hotel. Needn't have worried. Our room was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate. I didn't visit the annexe, so can't comment on it but the main building was actually lovely. Breakfasts were great - cereals, fruit,... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
