Booked a stay at this hotel when I was in Italy for a conference. I booking was part of a vacation package which came with the airline ticket. So to start off, this hotel is cheap (price wise) considering the rates of the other hotels in the area. The booking was for a single occupancy room, but what I got... More

After night one in the noisiest hotel room ever we were moved to a much larger quiter room with shutters which made us much happier. The rooms overall were good but the bathrooms could do with a much needed upgrade. The reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was ok basic but ok. Location seemed slightly far out, buy once you... More

The staff was very kind and helpful. The elevator and AC and the traffic outside made our room a little bit noisy (not too much, but still). The room was clean and the janitor is good. The breakfast was a little bit poor. After a week staying in hotel we have eaten same breads and youghurts and juices and overcooked... More

My husband and I returned to Atlanta this week from Bled Hotel. The price was great, the room was clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and arranged our shuttle service. We were very pleased to have an air conditioner the slight draw back was the thermostat is set via universal control by the hotel. The hotel at night... More

We are a family of 4 and we stayed at the hotel Bled for 2 nights in June before heading down to the coast. We were given 2 rooms on the 3rd floor close by each other and very close to an outdoor seating terrace which was great. There didn't appear to be anyone but us who used this terrace... More

We booked this hotel for 8 nights from 6th to 14 th July 2015.The temperature was around 35 to 37 throughout our stay in Rome during this period and it was neither air conditioned nor a fan(this is the truth) because of this we felt so uncomfortable to sleep in the night during our stay. The breakfast was standard, bread ,crossonts,cerwal... More

Hotel is well located within walking distance to Colloseum , Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. You could also walk into the city centre from the hotel. Breakfast variety was good. Unfortunately I found the beds to be a bit soft .Staff was helpful and friendly. Public transport nearby the hotel as well.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
