A really lovely hotel, its a bit dated and a little tired in places but, immaculately clean and essentially faultless. The breakfast in the morning is ideal, just what you need... love the option for boiled egss! It took a bit of finding on foot, front and back of the Parliment Building confused us! (coupled with a not so good... More

Ok, first the bad stuff. Er, not a lot really. The beds are a bit on the hard side and the location is in a pedestrian area so carrying cases could be a problem. The good stuff? Everything else. The hotel looks amazing and the reception is welcoming and efficient. The room was spotless and just what we needed. We... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and loved it. A short walk to the Metro stop and nearby plenty of the sites, this was an ideal location to explore Rome from. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast and wifi were both included and great!

We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Nazionale. We booked a junior suite which was very comfortable and roomy, overlooking the Piazza Montecitorio. The location is second-to-none with all of the major and less-discovered tourist attractions within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were grand, if a little tired. The hotel is in need of some renovation... More

Excellent hotel in the centre of Rome. You will not find a better location, complimented with staff that make your stay a friendly and pleasant one. Any travellers to Rome would not be disappointed by a stay at the Hotel Nazionale.

Set in the heart of rome, this Hotel offers, a luxurious stay right next to the parliment. our room was large, and tastefully furnished, with a view overlooking Piazza di Montecitorio. The breakfast was great with a good choice. Easy walking distance to all the main attractions, can't rate the Nationale high enough

Good place to visit ancient Rome. Nice rooms and good breakfast. Near almost all places to visit. Staff is helpfull. In the old center of Rome with dozens of restaurants nearby. Very good ice and pastry salon around the corner *Giolitti).

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Hotel was chosen primarily for it's central location as hotels in previous trips to Rome have all been of a similar standard with tiny rooms. Upon checking in we were allocated a room on the 6th floor. Great spacious room, double the size of other hotels in the area, jacuzzi bath and a... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
