I treated my husband to the weekend in Rome for his 40th. This hotel was recommended to us and it exceeded our expectations. They upgraded us to an executive room and it was amazing - very lavish whilst traditional in design. Huge high decorated ceilings and enormous windows that opened onTo the square. Its location is so close to all... More

We spent 9 nights in this hotel. Location is great - you walk everywhere. Hotel is very clean. Excellent breakfast. Great staff, very helpful and friendly, answered all our quesions, requests and far beyond that. This hotel made our Rome vacation wonderful. If we ever come back to Rome, we'll certainly use this hotel.

Stayed for 10 days of touring Rome and could walk to most places in the city. Attractions, restaurants, shops, historical sites all within walking distance. Rooms very large with all amenities from coffee and tea to wifi. Could not ask for more.

I stay at this hotel for work and you cannot beat the location. You are in the middle of everything. The staff at the front desk are wonderful and knowledgeable people. There are some newer rooms and some older rooms. You don't know what you're going to get. Also, the layout of the rooms can be quite interesting. I prefer... More

booked via Expedia and was expecting a very average hotel especially in the centre of Rome. Staff are very welcoming, rooms are good, if a bit cramped, and the breakfast is not to bad. Better than average

Amazing place, it's not about location, service, rooms and so on these are very good...The atmosphere, you are really merged with history there. It's situaded near the Parliament of Italy, that's why i almost every day see it on TV by Euronews. I advise all the people who goes there to feel the history, all the more so almost everybody... great location midway between Trevi Fountain and Panteon couldnt be better - all major sites are walkable. Staff were absolutely first class from arrival to departure - cannot fault the place. Clean, comfortable room, good selection at breakfast - although I could not master the egg boiler (I am a man after all !) Just perfect - lovely room on... More

This is our 2nd stay at the Nazionale and the staff are so helpful and welcoming it is like coming home. We were delighted to be upgraded (without us asking I may add) to one of the beautiful 2nd floor front rooms that had just been renovated. This overlooked parliament square, The Piazza Montecitorio, which is always buzzing with something... More

The hotel itself is full or character and style, but the rooms themselves are a little tired and old. Certainly ours could have done with a refresh - a classic style and modern rooms are not mutually exclusive. Particularly the bathroom/shower. However, we found that this slightly disappointing aspect was totally overshadowed by the positives of this hotel. First of... More

This hotel was perfect for a romantic getaway. The room was tastefully decorated, and the hotel staff was efficient and helpful. The location is great, as well – walking distance to so many sights! This will definitely be our place to stay from now on when we visit Rome.
