Very central in Rome, you can walk to all the sites from this hotel. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. Breakfast was very good! Approx 20. min walk to colosseum in one direction and 20. min to the Vatican in the other direction. 3. min walk down to the Pantheon.

I can not rave enough about this hotel. The location is perfect and it is on a quiet square. It has a wonderful lobby and small bar that is so welcoming after a hectic day in the city. So few hotels have lobbies today and I am a person who enjoys the charm of a good lobby. The service is... More

I loved our stay at this hotel. Not only was the staff very helpful with any request we had, but the location is great. We walked almost everywhere we went. Great restaurants all around. Our room was quiet, spacious and clean and had a view of the Vatican. We also had a joining room with the other couple we were... More

As seasoned travelers we are pleased to say that the Hotel Nazionale in Rome is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It is a boutique style hotel and as such is able to provide personalized attention to almost every detail. I cannot think of a single amenity that was missed. The room was spotless and recently... Fantastic hotel, clean and very central to all attractions ie pantheon theatre about 5 minutes walk and the most 30 minutes walk to the Vatican. Staff very friendly and helpful giving great information on attractions. Sayed on the 6th Floor with a great view of the Vatican. Breakfast included which had a vast choice to choose from. Local restaurants within... More

You really couldn't get better located than here as it is right in the centre. There are copious restaurants within 5 minutes walk and a famous Gelato around the corner. It's literally a stones throw from the Pantheon. On the down side the rooms are on the small side and unless you get premium the wifi is so slow as... More

We made an error booking the reservation with some friends and the front desk staff went out of their way to resolve the problem. They also gave us a quick rundown on what sights to visit and made reservations for the Vatican and Galleria Borghese. They were friendly, helpful and personal in their service. Our room was just fine, breakfast... More

We just returned from a trip to Rome, along with a 12 night cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Nazionale Rome. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect. Many attractions were within walking distance. My wife and I would strongly recommend this hotel... More

This was the forth time in this hotel. Why coming back? It is obvious - Central Place in Rome, good accomodations, friendly personell and outstanding service! From this hotel all Rome's major attractions will be within walking distance. Although in the city centre you will not be disturbed by the traffic on the Corso.

This hotel is nearly bang in the middle of most of the famous attractions. You can walk to them in a few minutes. The Panthenon is just 2minutes away. I had booked a 'guys' weekend away and had requested twin rooms; when checking in there was a bit of an issue with this, they accepted responsibility for the error but... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
