3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great, we walked everywhere - to Colosseum, Vatican City, the Spanish steps... Pantheon is minutes away from the hotel and there is also a bunch of restaurants right by Pantheon. The staff was nice and also really helpful. They recommended us what to see in Rome and also ordered transport to... More

Stayed four nights recently with my two daughters in the two bedroom suite. Bedrooms and the living room were nice, however it's a little funky in that one bedroom has a bathroom and the other bedrooms bathroom is down the stairs by the door. On a good note, it also had a sweet balcony that looked out over the city... More

Stayed here for 4 nights before our cruise and then 1 night after the cruise. We are a family of four and we surprised to find we had a room upgrade with interconnecting door. Our room faced the Piazza which is closed to traffic so very quiet. The addition of double glazed windows and shutters provided a peaceful night’s sleep.... More

Just returned from an unbelievable stay in Roma. The Hotel Nazionale was the perfect choice for our family! The Hotel was less then 5 minutes from the Pantheon and only 15 minutes to the "steps". We loved the neighborhood, very safe and so beautiful! The staff and service was great, Patrick was so nice and helpful. We were very sad... More

Just spent three nights here. This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. We walked everywhere. Pantheon 5. Spanish Steps and Trevi10. Colosseum 25. Vatican Museums 30. Very safe area. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants nearby. Recommend Life and Coso

The staff was courteous, dead on with their recommendations and the service was top shelf. Their collective fluency in English more than compensated for our lack of Italian. I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Nazionale and its staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally clean hotel, with an ample breakfast. Bar and relaxing seating area. Definitely a four star European style hotel. The front faces Montecitorio piazza and the back the rooftops of Rome, with a peek at the Vatican. You can't go wrong here. Excellent location for viewing Rome. The furthest points are the Colosseum on one... More

We will go back to this hotel thanks to its ideal location, extremely helpful staff, spotless, quiet rooms, and great breakfast. We've stayed in other hotels in Rome and have paid way too much for rooms you can't even turn around in, with unpleasant staff, and no view. The Hotel Nazionale is everything a traveler could want - we would... More

I was recommended this hotel by my brother and it did not disappoint. It is central to everything a visitor to Rome could hope for. The front desk staff was exceptional. They provided great information and directions. On our arrival in Rome, the cab driver took us to the wrong hotel and I left my travel notebook at the front... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, its in a perfect location and you can walk to many locations. Taxis do find it very hard to find and get to but apart from that staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast is great too, would stay again

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
