My wife and I stayed for four nights 3/20-3/24/15 to celebrated her 50th birthday and our 25th anniversary. We had requested a Deluxe room upgrade via email prior to arrival, arrived at 10am and were shown 3 different rooms by the front desk staff to choose from--nice service right from the start! We selected a 5th floor room overlooking the... More

Have stayed several times but some years ago.Just spent four nights here,as good as ever, super polite and efficient staff, excellent breakfasts and overall as good as ever if not better. Old fashioned hotel with old fashioned values, I have nothing but the highest praise for the Nazionale. It's position in a traffic free square gurantees peaceful nights and is five minutes... More

We stayed here for two nights 26-28 March, and were VERY disappointed with the 'CLASSIC ROOM' we were given as our booking. On entry to the hotel it is traditional, fairly opulent and so our expectations were good. I always trawl the tripadvisor reviews before booking and was swayed by the comments of other guests and its location. On arrival... More

We stayed for five nights coinciding with a rugby match ( Wales won easily but not by enough points) and Brett's birthday. Cannot fault the hotel in any way, it was the first class service which was preeminent from reception to the bar where Rosa excelled every night and we dId not miss one! The overriding thing to remember is... More

We spent four nights in the Nazionale. Our room was large, well appointed and the location was convenient to all the sights of Rome. There are restaurants nearby, including the best gelato in Rome and, also nearby is a great place for canolis. Although there were few people in the area at night, we did have some noise from the... Small(ish) genuine Italian hotel in the heart of everything. An easy walk to the Vatican, the Villa Borghese and the Collosseum. Trevi fountain and Pantheon in less than 5 minutes. Superb eating places just around the corner. Shopping district is on your doorstep and the square has no traffic so is quiet at night but safe as guarded by the... More

Fantastic location, right in the thick of all the fabulous little lanes and alleyways with their quirky shops, amazing restaurants and lovely little cafes. Just perfect. A very nice comfortable room with a spacious well equipped bathroom, lovely big bed, robes and slippers. Really helpful Concierge service. Lovely breakfast with loads of choices. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
