We stayed here 3 nights at the recommendation of friends that had stayed here. Being next to the Parliament square, you saw plenty of police security which was nice to have. Very centrally located to be able to walk to many of the sights. The room was very large for a downtown hotel, A/C worked very well, big bathroom and... More

Just got back from a pleasant stay at the Nazionale, Rome. I booked based on the Tripadvisor reviews and was very satisfied. The location is excellent. The buffet breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The receptionist Patrick took a lot of time helping us get our bearings and circling places we should... More

This was our second stay in Rome. Previously we stayed at the top of the Spanish Steps and we preferred the location of the Hotel Nazionale better. It's located overlooking the Parliament square and therefore has plenty of Italian security around the clock so it is very safe. Our room was fair-sized and nice, with a view of the Parliament... My room was large and elegant, had an incredible view on the Parliament square, but was at the same time very quiet. My only negative remark is about breakfast, I think that for what you pay you could get some fresh coffe served at your table, instead of having to make it yourself. Anyway, being back in Rome, for sure... More

We stayed there for four nights in September, and were completely satisfied from beginning to end. The location couldn't be better. We were able to walk to many of the sights; being on a pedestrian plaza was a big plus. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and air conditioned - a delight to come back to after a long day of... We spent four wonderful nights at the Nazionale at the end of our month long travels around Italy. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, decorated in perfect harmony with this historic and stylish area of Rome but with an extremely comfortable feel in both the rooms and public areas. The location is close to perfect, the Pantheon is five minutes away... More

It's a beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of the city, lots of historic sites nearby, as well as shops and restaurants. We would like to give a very big 'thank you so much' to all the staff of the hotel, especially to the reception staff (as we had the most contact with them), they are kind, very friendly... More

Pros: -Great location close to the Pantheon, walking distance to the Coliseum. -Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Checked in by Patrick who was very good. -We had a spacious, beautiful room with a view of St. Peter’s Basilica for quite a reasonable price. How good is that when you’re in Rome? -Coffee and tea in room. Haven’t had that in... More

This beautiful and historic hotel is in the heart of the city and within walking distance of just about anything you want to see or do. You may have to walk a half hour or so to the more historic or popular destinations but just bring a good pair of walking shoes! The Vatican, the Coliseum, the Forum, the Trevi... More

Great 4 nights at hotel Nazionale. Very good location in the historic centre - Trevi fountain and Pantheon only 5 minutes walk away, close to buses and all major sites. Nice room and very good continental breakfast with much greater range than usually found. Exceptionally helpful staff - suggested bus routes, made museum reservation, arranged taxis. Would definitely stay again.
