Good location, good services, quite room with free WIFI, nice view to Montecitorio (Italian Parliament), nice breakfast! Position close to important Roman sites and old town with good Ristoranti, Osterie, Caffè, Bars, Gelaterie, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at the Nazionale very much. The hotel has a very plush, 1950s Italian movie feel to it. The rooms are definitely not modern and sleek, so if that's what you're looking for, this is not the place for you. However, they are charming, spacious and very clean, and the bathrooms are completely renovated. The hotel is... More

The perfect place to end 16 days in Italy. Patrick was incredibly generous and helpful at exploring the city. A perfect location to walk all over the city and likely the safest location as well. We will return to the Nazionale on our next visit to Rome.

We stayed at the Nazionale after disembarking from a 7 day cruise in the Mediterranean. The location of the hotel was perfect as we could walk to most destinations and the neighborhood near the hotel (Pantheon) also has it's own charm. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and the rooms were fine. Given this hotel's location on Piazza Montecitorio... More

We had a wonderful stay in Rome due in large part to the wonderful an courteous staff at the Hotel. Should you decide to stay there I don't have to tell you to look for Rosa, Florentina or Natasa for I'm sure you'll spot them by their wonderful smiles and always happy demeanor.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Nazionale for 3 nights late in September. From the minute we checked in we knew we made a good choice. The staff is courteous and friendly, always offering a greeting as we came and went. The front desk team, particularly Patrick and Uberto were extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, directions, and even helping... More

I've written other reviews of Hotel Nazionale a Montecitorio, but only because my wife and I continue to go there. This year we were celebrating our 35th anniversary and my wife's 60th birthday. This was our 8th or 9th visit to the Nazionale and, just as all of our other visits, we felt right at home. As I have mentioned... More

Just spent 5 nights as this brill central Rome hotel. Perfect location offering walking access to most Rome historic sites. Good friendly staff, nice rooms with no night noise so perfect for catching up after a busy day. Now a bit pricy by UK standards, but if you want to do Rome this hotel offers it all in Parliment Sq.e

We stayed here for 4 nights. As for physical plant, this is one of the best hotels we stayed in during a five week vacation in Europe. They had bar service til midnight, nice common areas inside and a small patio out front. We got upgraded to a Jr Suite (we had booked a deluxe double), so the room comments... More

This hotel had a lot of great things going for it, and a few drawbacks as well. On the positive side is the location. This is an amazing location. I could literally throw a baseball and hit the Pantheon from our room. Almost all of the sites and things to see are walkable or a quick ride away. This is... More
