Stayed for 4 nights in March. The location is perfect very central and close to shops, trevie fountain and piazza navona. Room was comfortable and spacious with lots of nice features. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good however had to boil own eggs and when went back to get them out of the pan, they had always been taken... More

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, albeit over 10 years, it is a wonderful Hotel in a great central location. As with the previous visits we booked a Junior Suite for 5 nights (quite expensive but well worth the indulgence). Previously we have looked over Parliament Square, but after inquiring about a suite with twin beds and... More

We stayed here 2 days before our cruise in April 2015. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful with everything, the location was perfect you can walk to everything. The breakfast was a treat every morning and we would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Our room was HUGE and immaculate. A great location very close to Piazza Novona and Trevi fountain. Very helpful staff who were always happy to help. Lovely hotel, have already recommended it to 2 sets of friends who were also very happy with their stay!

We arrived to Rome via train from Venice early in May. We were told we had been "upgraded" so imagine our surprise when we were shown a small and very dated room. I was disappointed but unpacked anyways. We had amazing accommodations in Venice and this was truly a let down. The front desk seemed bewildered that i wasn't happy... More

This was our first time in Rome and the Hotel Nazionale was perfect for us. The location was the best. We walked almost everywhere and it is very close to excellent places to eat. Hotel car collected us from the airport, driver very knowledgeable. Hotel was beautiful and the executive suite was lovely, it was traditional and very spacious with a ceiling that must have been 18-20 ft high, overlooking the parliament building, it was spotlessly clean although showed some signs of age. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Bed was huge and comfortable.... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
