We have stayed at Nazionale numerous times before (more than 12), and have always been very satisfied. We love the style, and of course the hotel is situated just in the heart of the ancient Rome. This time we had booked a "De Luxe Room", which was spacious and beautyfully furnished with classical italian furniture. Breakfast was as always good,... More

What a wonderful 4 star hotel, in the heart of Rome, all the sights are within a small walking distance. The hotel is in a prime position and in a good area right next to the Italian parliament building so police everywhere to make you feel safe all day. We stayed for two nights and the room we had was... More

If you're looking for the sterile environment of a major hotel chain, then this place isn't for you. The Nazionale is a wonderfully charming hotel in the heart of Rome. You can walk to all major sites within minutes in addition to many great places to eat. The Pantheon and the best Gelatti are both just around the corner. We'll... More

Room was good, mattress firm and comfortable, and quiet prevails at night. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of food, although too many times my cooking eggs were taken by another guest! Perhaps the eggs should be cooked in the kitchen. One problem was that the computer was broken and removed. There was no second computer as there are... More

There is a reason we've continued to stay at Hotel Nazionale when we travel to Rome.... the location is perfect and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special. Our last visit was no different... Valentina welcomed us with a smile and made us feel like we were family. We were given a very generous upgrade and... More

I feel like we really got a great deal staying here. The hotel is in a great location and it really made a difference in our experience at Rome. My only complaint is that there was work being done outside and it would wake us up every morning. If I were to stay there again I would ask foe an... More

Deal Alexis C, Thank you for posting your review on Trip Advisor We are glad to read you had a nice stay with us, it's a pity those working coming from the street bothered your rest, and even if referring to activities beyond our control, we are very sorry and apologize for that. We look forward to welcoming again at... More

We loved staying at the Nazionale. The location is perfect. You are within a 20 minute walk or less from the Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, etc. The hotel is very nice, the public spaces are excellent. The buffet breakfast is good, the coffee at the breakfast is very good. Patrick at the front desk is AMAZING. Anything you need... More

Our family stayed here recently for three nights, and we were glad that we did. The hotel is located right near the Italian Parliament, so it was good security wise. It was slightly noisy, but that was only the first night and stopped around 8 pm. Our room was very comfortable. An added bonus was they gave us slippers and... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. This must be one of the best locations in Rome to visit every site on foot. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the hotel is welcoming and very clean. Our room was no. 508 and it was perfect for our stay. Couldnt have asked for more.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
