3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The pros: The staff were very friendly and spoke english well. The hotel had an authentic rustic feel and was a good walking distance to all major attractions and a buffet breakfast was included. The restaurant next door is the biggest plus. The waiter there (Marino?) was amazing. We would often arrive way before the restaurant was open and he... More

Except the good location, this hotel had no other pluses. Old, small and dirty rooms, paid non-working WIFI, poor food and bad service. I'd suggest to take this hotel only if looking for a place to crash and it has a fair price. Otherwise there are plenty of better alternatives.

My friend and I stayed for a week at Hotel Priscilla during August 2014. We expected a 3 star hotel, because we didn't want to pay for too much money for a room we would only sleep in. This turned out a smart choice, and good value for our money. The room we were given, was spacious, had three beds... More

The rooms are average at best, shower very small, and beds lacking. The staff, however, were great. They made us feel very welcome, and answered our many questions with genuine warmth and kindness that overcame the shortcomings of the room. Thank you to Fabiola, and a wonderful Egyptian man whose name escapes me. I would stay there again just to... More

The staff was helpful but our room had dirty walls and a terrible bathroom with dirty tiles. The whole building smells bad and they dont refresh the air regularly. The cleaners do not do their job as they should. They vacumed our room and changed our sheets only when we asked them to, after 3 days. This hotel shouldn't have... More

We stayed in the Priscilla for 3 days in September at the end of our European tour. We weren't expecting a 5 star hotel but were disappointed with the overall experience. On the positive side we were happy with the location and the food in the dining area was quite good if having an evening meal. The down side was... More

Do not stay here. There are sure to be better three star hotels in Rome. The hotel is nothing like the photos. It is in need of a major overhaul. The bathroom is small and the bath was very high which made getting in and out of the shower very dangerous. An advantage of the hotel was the location which... More

Helpful staff on reception. Location OK but be prepared to do some walking. Rooms on the street side are very noisy with poor double glazing!! Breakfast is basic and some food items were no longer available for late risers. The restaurant is nothing special. Comfortable bed. Variable shower pressure and temperature. Hotel's airport transfer was excellent value for money and... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
