Room 609 is an excellent luxury room with a wonderful view across the city from Borghese Park past St. Peter's Basilica. It has 2 small balconies. Sometimes, paying extra to stay in a good hotel really is worth it. Every Sofitel I have stayed in so far demonstrates this. Rome meets the high standards. The staff are excellent. Polite, attentive, multi-lingual and extremely helpful. Great location! Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the street, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I've seen in Europe!! The entire staff was friendly, courteous, polite and helpful...really 5 star service! This is a top notch operation, you won't be disappointed. We loved Rome and will visit again! Thank you Sofitel!!
