Whilst this hotel is very convenient for the train station, local public transport and shopping the hotel rooms are minimal and could benefit from a refurbishment. Bathrooms are for a good size and standard. The pool is tiny and only made for padding, therefore if you are looking for a hotel with a pool this not the hotel you should... More

What a great location , service and room. We travelled with 2 kids and stayed in the 2 bedroom presidential suite and it was so so cool ! Felt like this was Austin Powers' room. Right on Via Veneto and only 1 min from Spanish steps , this was the right place to stay.

We went to Rome to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and were excited about staying at the Grand Hotel palace, particularly as it was advertised as a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. The room looked nothing like the pictures had promised, it was much smaller and there was a lack of surface space to put stuff. The... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel twice in a two week period of our honeymoon (first two days and last two days) as our flight was in/out of Rome. The hotel is very nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. They were very accommodating of our travel schedules and allowed us to check in early. The... More

Just back from another great break in Rome. We went 25th May and returned the 30th. Flight great as we were bumped up to Business, lovely. Our room was 607. Hotel, nice and central and the staff very polite, place clean and efficiently run. There were just lots of things missing...... No clock in the bedroom - why not? No... More

We spent the last two days of our 35th wedding anniversary trip at the Grand Hotel Palace from May 29th-31st. The staff were wonderful and so helpful with all of our needs. Everything was just perfect including the bottle of champagne and chocolate lava cake sent to us in our beautiful room for our anniversary, Such a nice and unexpected... More

Rooms can be furnished better. Large room but only one chair! We were a couple. Back room overlooking an alley. Friendly staff. Breakfast not impressive. Central location. Bathroom is decent. Wifi is bad.

I've been searching this for a while and now i found this hotel. Way back of 1st week of April I and my Friends took a vacation on Rome for a couple weeks. Grand Hotel Palace was so adorable i felt the relaxation. We tour the whole place and all the workers are respectful. I will recommend this to my... More

Although tis is a late review, as we were there in March, I have to say that it was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in Rome. Of course, we were upgraded to a beautiful corner room with a fantastic huge balcony that we enjoyed immensely. Many thanks also to the personal who were more than helpful. If... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
