When we booked this 5* hotel I was so excited as I'd never stayed in a 5* hotel before, however when I arrived I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the entrance is lovely but the room was a bit of a let down - it lacked simple functional things such as storage space and a mirror! I... More

Hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful with taxi's, directions, and recommendations for dinner. Room was large and beautiful. Linens were top notch. Robes and slippers offered. Breakfast was quite good and there was a large array of foods.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, bright and quiet with an excellent shower. Agree with other reviews on the lack of a socket in the bedroom for the hairdryer. Loads of restaurants nearby, with an easy walk to the Spanish Steps and some expensive shopping streets. Would return here no... More

This was our first stay here and on check in they upgraded us to a deluxe room. This was a bigger room, very modern looking. A lovely, king size, comfy bed. A marble bathroom with one of the best showers that I've had in a hotel room, even if the sink was a little 'trendy' and I could not close... More

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night stay and overall we had a good experience. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The toiletries and towels and brilliant shower were of a high standard. However, there were a few niggles. I have never before stayed in a 5* hotel that charges 6Euros to... More

We stayed for 4 nights recently & couldn't fault the hotel. It's in a great location within 10 minute walking distance to the nearest Metro station, 15-20 mins to Termini station, 10 mins walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. 20 mins walk to Pantheon & Colosseum. Easy metro ride to the Vatican. 2 min walk to the beautiful Borghese gallery... More

The lounge bar was fabulous and have live piano music. The location is the best in Rome, right on Via Veneto, within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and other major attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very small. The bathroom shower didn't have any glass walls or curtains and we flood the bathroom every... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
