LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! I am highly recommending Grand Hotel Palace in Rome for anyone interested to spend vacation relatively close to all sightseeing attractions Eternal City has to offer. However, located in extremely quiet neighborhood of this crazy busy loud european town. It's located right across the street from American Embassy, so for american tourists who are homesick during their... More

So many great things about this hotel... - All of the staff is very friendly and helpful (concierge, servers, managers). They really did go out of their way to make us feel at home and answered any questions we had. - Great location. Right across the US embassy and beside the Hard Rock Cafe. Walking distance to lots of beautiful... More

I have stayed in Millenium Hotels in London, New York, Paris/ Singapore and now Rome. This was the best. New to the MIllenium portfolio it was previously a boutique hotel. The result is a property that has the best of both. Our arrival was not ideal, being led in by a Hotel Porter from a nearby hotel as the taxi... More

I stayed here on a business trip from August 10th till 12th.. And everything from the product offering to check-in to room amenities & service was highly disappointing. The images of the hotel on its website are very misleading- the actual lobby is small & unimpressive.. The lounge chairs in the lobby are very uncomfortable-- the whole arrival experience is... Great location, easy access to all the top sites, Trevie fountain etc, the staff were very efficient and helpful. Our room was superb and kept clean. The evening waiter on the champagne bar out front was brilliant and we had two great end of evenings here after we had been out. Top place to stay.

We loved the Grand Hotel Palace. The decor was brilliantly 1920s, all the rooms and public areas done out individually in this style. The staff were all so helpful - from reception helping us book taxis and make restaurant bookings (as well as upgrading one of our rooms without us asking so we could be next to each other). The... We made our reservation through Luca, very professional, efficient and polite. Our room was a good size and kept very clean, thanks housekeeping. Concierge were very efficient with our bags both on arrival and departure and the maps on reception are perfect to find your way around the city. The terrace outside is a great haven to sit with a... Great hotel. We booked using points so was a bit wary. We couldn't have been more pleased. Room and bathroom were wonderful. Loved the decor. They have a FABULOUS breakfast. Service was very attentive also I couldn't have asked for more and not hesitate to stay again.

After booking my stay through our travel agent this hotel made every step of our stay hard rather than easy. Check in at 11pm was a nightmare and they did not have the extra bed ready we requested in our booking. Then Federico at reception went on to argue we did not have a reservation for 3 when we did... We had 2 rooms during July 2015. This was the first part of our 2 week trip Italy. The hotel was beautiful with a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. A great way to start a dream trip! I highly recommend this hotel.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
