Boscolo Hotels suffer from too cutesy post modern decor....lots of shiny surfaces, in your face color schemes and supposedly edgy furniture. No longer in the Boscolo chain, this hotel has retained the decor but improved service. Large rooms, spacious bathrooms, big windows allowing natural light from the roman sun to enter and brighten things. Unfortunately despite its good location, Via... More

This hotel is absolutely fabulous and the pictures on their website do not do it justice, it is simply stunning. We stayed in an executive room with a balcony over the New Year. The room was perfect, gorgeous material graced the walls with a large opulent marble bathroom, with a shower big enough for 4. The balcony was well worth... More

We just came back from a 4 night stay at the Grand Hotel Palace. This is a great hotel right in the middle of Via Veneto. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Francesca at the front desk. Our Superior room on the top floor was large and clean. We used the sauna and the spa which was great... More

This hotel is outstanding. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and are some of the best I have stayed in. The staff were fantastic and were very attentive to our needs. The location is excellent, and there are plenty of areas to explore. I will certianly be staying here again.

Just got back from Rome and stayed at the Grand Hotel Palace. The hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is near a lot of good restaurants and in a nice part of Rome. I would stay here again if I went back to Rome.

Although the location of the hotel is wonderful, and the decoration very stylish, I don't think the hotel deserves five stars. Rooms are too small, personnel is not professional, the air conditioning/ heating system was either not working or very noisy. At breakfast, fruit juices are of very low quality, and scrambled eggs consist more of milk and flour than... More

This hotel is very conveniently located and is within walking distance of many of the great sites of Rome, such as the Trevi fountains and the Spanish steps. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby too. The rooms are nice and spacious and the bathrooms very modern, with nice products including conditioner and excellent water pressure in the step free... More

I stayed at the hotel for the duration of a conference. My room was small but well organised. Pretty decoration and very stylish. I missed having a kettle in the room and the aircon was. Ery noisy. Breakast had delicious pastries. Very helpful staff and their restaurant recommendations were all very good. The location is outstanding.

I stayed at this hotel a few hears ago for work and it was in a perfect location for all tourist attractions in Rome. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
