This hotel is outstanding. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and are some of the best I have stayed in. The staff were fantastic and were very attentive to our needs. The location is excellent, and there are plenty of areas to explore. I will certianly be staying here again.

Just got back from Rome and stayed at the Grand Hotel Palace. The hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is near a lot of good restaurants and in a nice part of Rome. I would stay here again if I went back to Rome.

Although the location of the hotel is wonderful, and the decoration very stylish, I don't think the hotel deserves five stars. Rooms are too small, personnel is not professional, the air conditioning/ heating system was either not working or very noisy. At breakfast, fruit juices are of very low quality, and scrambled eggs consist more of milk and flour than... More

This hotel is very conveniently located and is within walking distance of many of the great sites of Rome, such as the Trevi fountains and the Spanish steps. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby too. The rooms are nice and spacious and the bathrooms very modern, with nice products including conditioner and excellent water pressure in the step free... More

I stayed at the hotel for the duration of a conference. My room was small but well organised. Pretty decoration and very stylish. I missed having a kettle in the room and the aircon was. Ery noisy. Breakast had delicious pastries. Very helpful staff and their restaurant recommendations were all very good. The location is outstanding.

I stayed at this hotel a few hears ago for work and it was in a perfect location for all tourist attractions in Rome. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were very bright, spacious and clean. I also loved the products on display in the bathroom. A nice mix of the modern with the old style of... More

As usual, slight misunderstanding and when it comes to euros, these guys have no mercy. In general hotel is great, breakfast is poor for a five stars L, not so much variety no healthy or diet section, but staff super nice especially Francesca at the reception! The tv a total disaster. Who pays for mtv to watch it? At the... More

Rooms were very clean and beautiful decor. Nice quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants. I would not recommend the hotel breakfast. The buffet is very expensive. We did not have complimentary meals and tried to order from the menu. It took 45 min for two omlettes and the waiter acted totally bothered. No refills on coffee and then another 20 min... More

Large, classical architecture, 1920 building full of rich history. The hotel offers modern amenities and updated spacious rooms, large12 ceilings. This hotel offers one of the largest room selections within Rome. Beautiful marble showers with updated plumbing. Very friendly staff, great health club, restaurant, classic bar and fabulous location within central Rome. Approxitmently 1/2 mile from Spanish steps. Great shopping... More

The Grand Hotel Palace is a gem and one of the best hotels that we've stayed in Europe. The location is the best in Rome, right on Via Veneto, within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and other major attractions, close to the Barberini subway station if you need to go further out. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
