We stayed here 3 nights in a junior suite. We felt the hotel was well located 10 mins to spanish steps and trevi fountain. Lots of nice little places to eat locally. Room was ok and clean bed very comfy (I have a bad back). For a junior suite was more like a large bedroom, no kettle for a nice... More

Its a shame because the venue and location is really great. Quite modern interior and at arrival we even got upgraded to a junior suite which was a very nice surprise. Initially the staff seemed very nice and helpful. Fun started with breakfast. Despite number of free tables around we were told we cannot chose where we want to seat...fine.... More

The Grand Hotel Palace had been recommended to me from a friend, and right from our arrival I knew we had made the right choice. Everything from the location and decor to the staff and the general ambience was just perfect. We had a beautiful and very comfortable room with a wonderful bathroom and a view to a beautiful tree... I've spent my birthday at this beautiful hotel in Rome on a pretty nice location very near the center of the shopping streets. The hotel was very clean. Our suite was pretty big, very nice furnished in a modern way. I don't think I have to go too much in detail here because the pictures on the website say it... More

We had a marvelous experience staying for a week at the Grand Hotel Palace. The location was wonderful, secure and allowed us to range out easily. Located directly across from the American Embassy, it was wonderful to see "Old Glory" flying from the Embassy. The service was SUPERB and every member of the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful,... More

Wonderful location across from the US embassy. Unfortunately we were given a room that overlooks a back alley with service equipment and fans. We were unable to open drapes. room is spacious and clean, however furniture is badly laid out. Only one office chair in room. No potable water was provided and AC was loud. Wi fi kept disrupting.

We had two stays at the Grand Hotel Palace either side of a cruise and loved it. It is a well appointed hotel with great staff. Located in a great area we walked to a lot of attractions and even to the main rail station Termini for a day trip to Florence. There is also several food options in the... More

Really nice hotel in very good location, the room was spacious and modern, the staff in reception and restaurant provided very good service, the only thing I will complain is that the air conditioning was very noisy, so be aware of that, could be that I was unlucky with the room, overall my stay was good

This hotel is first class. Great service in the restaurant and bar. Rooms are small but well appointed. Great gelato store around the corner. Very quiet neighborhood, primarily business and residences. Must take long walk to any attractions.

Via Veneto and environs are still a bit la dolce vita, and the hotel restaurants retain wall art of a diaphanous earlier era. The pastel blue and pink wall paper in the rooms is a light touch from a different period - like late 20th century - and the bathrooms, light fixtures, and air conditioning reach all the way into... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
