I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2015 with my wife for a sightseeing tour of Rome. My wife and I were very pleased with the hotel which has so many positives - nice big air conditioned room, friendly reception staff, good breakfast buffet selection and a complimentary shuttle bus to Piazza Del Popolo (every 30 mins to and... Visited the hotel during my recent trip to Rome. We staid 4 nights and overall the Hotel is a very nice place to stay. Tucked away in a nice residential neighborhood, the Hotel is great if your looking to be away from the busy side of town, but just a 5-10 min car ride away from the sites. Make sure... More

A lovely hotel that is in a quiet area. The hotel do provide an air conditioned People Carrier that can be easily booked (at reception) and drops you off and picks you up from Piazza Del Popolo so everything can be reached (it is a 25 minute walk to the Colosseum and similar to the Vatican but everything else especially... As a few reviews said, The Duke is a little off the beaten track but this meant little or no noise and you just have to make a plan or walk into town. Staff very friendly and helpful, they guys on reception could not have been nicer and seemed to enjoy their first taste of Balvenie whiskey(off duty of course)... More

Set in the residential part of Rome approx 7min drive from the centre of Rome. Complimentry mini bus taking 6 passengers which runs regulary throughout the day, but you must book you outward and return in advance. The room was large, clean and tidy and the air conditioning worked well, linen changed daily. TV no UK programmes or English that... More

We stayed at the end of our honeymoon at the Duke and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and we were brought complimentary champagne for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch! It was one of the only places that recognised our special occasion during our 3 week trip, so this gesture meant a lot to... More

Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom looks very nice, even a bidet was there. You are able to regulate the air condition. The hotel offers a free minivan shuttle service for 7 persons from hotel to the city (Flaminio, Piazza del Popolo) and back every half an our, starting at 8.00 until 23.00. They can send you the exact... More

We think the hotel has great rooms with a nice balcony, comfortable bed and air condition. The bathroom was in marble and very beautiful. The hotel offers free shuttle from the hotel and back if you don´t want to take the metro or a cab. The service was great and very helpful. The breakfast contained various food such as juice, egg,... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
