We stayed here through a Secret Escapes booking in a deluxe room; very clean and nice decor, excellent breakfast buffet and helpful and friendly staff. Shuttle bus service a great help. Rome is amazing, although watch out for 'helpful' staff at the station who don't actually work there.

We found the Duke Hotel and their staff great. It was in a quieter part of the city but the shuttle service they provided into the centre of Rome more than made up for being a little distance from the centre. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, the breakfast was superb and our room very spacious... More

We stayed here for four days while visiting Rome for the first time, not realising how far we were from the centre of the city. Fortunately there was a free shuttle mini bus which was bookable by pre arrangement with reception, this would take you to the edge of the city, and a 2 minute walk to the Metro station... More

Very good room and bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location can be difficult because it's away from the centre however the shuttle bus is very useful and efficient. We had dinner on one evening because we were in the city on every other evening.

Very good hotel. The shuttle is the best service that a hotel can provide to these clients. A little bit far from Roma center but next to the piazza del popolo. Crew is very professional and restaurant is a very good rate price/quality but not very various choices.

Stayed here for one week and enjoyed our stay. Rooms are an excellent size and are well decorated. We had a family room which had two interconnecting rooms so we had two bathrooms / two TV's, which is the first time we have experienced this! It really is great if you have kids as they get their own space. A... More

My wife, daughter and myself stayed in a superior room for three nights last week and were very happy with the Duke. Marble everywhere and friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and had a very good evening meal there too. Reception were always helpful. Lovely and quiet, we all slept like logs every night. Thank you.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
