Stayed here from 01-04 March 2012 and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Once we got our bearings we established it was well situated. Vatican City is about a 25 minute walk. (We are not fast walkers) The metro system is fantastic. The nearest Metro is Lepanto which is about 10 minutes..at 1euro for 75 mins you cant go wrong. Being... More

Eight of us stayed over (4 couples) for a Valentine weekend, oh and we watched Italy v England at rugby too! The weather was cold with loads of snow but we had a warm reception in this hotel. staff were very friendly, the buffet style breakfast was very varied and plentiful. Seemed to have more Italians staying than tourists too.... More

We spent the final five days of our honeymoon at the Hotel Giulio Cesare and we could not have wished for a better finish to an amazing trip. After a fairly hectic few weeks travelling through Italy, it was a pleasant change of pace to say here. It is extremely well situated in a very quiet residential street but only... More

Beginning with an early Christmas holiday with the family, Hotel Giulio Cesare met all expectation that most European and American travelers would appreciate. Style, comfort and each staff member was unique and helpful. The breakfast will satisfy all tastes. The location is 10 min. to the Vatican and next to the Tiber river. Check out the views from the roof... More

What an elegant hotel and convenient location. Thank God I know personally someone at the concierge desk who manages always to find me a room as this jewel of a hotel is always busy. Being always fascinated by the loftiness of the Vatican City, hotel Giulio Cesare gives me the possibility to visit Saint Peter Square few times during my... More

Hotel Giulio Cesare is located a short walk from Piazza del Popolo on the other side of the Tiber River in an upscale, quiet neighborhood known as the Prati section of ancient Rome. It is walking distance to all major attractions, the metro is a block away, and we love the added benefit of feeling we are part of a... More

A fantastic standard room, with space, views, a bed, a bathroom and in particularly a jacuzzi bath that all were far from "standard". The hotel staff were great; genuinely proud of their hotel and warmly friendly without a hint of pretence. Everything sparkling clean. The breakfast, delivered to the room at short notice, was delicious.Amazing weekend.Yes thank you for your... More

Nice clean hotel wih good sized rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet for a good night's sleep. Slighly firm mattress which all of us particularly liked. I do not prefer mattresses that are too soft. Free and fast Wifi. Less than 5 min walk to Lepanto Metro station. Tiber river bank is 2 min away. 15 min walk to Vatican and... More

Great location, great amenities and GREAT SERVICE! I have stayed at this property twice. My second stay was flawless! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was my birthday and several of the staff acknowledged it during my stay. You don't get that everywhere!! I am returning again this week for another special occassion in Rome. Can't wait to...
