Had one day in Rome before a conference and asked for a recommendation from local colleagues. This hotel was fabulous. Low-key, very professional service. Quiet neighborhood very close to The Vatican. Gracious and copious breakfast. Very comfortable, large, well-appointed room. It was a perfect pick for a business traveler with only one day to be a tourist. It was perfect... more

The hotel is in an excellent position, close to Lepanto Metro and bus routes, but is also within walking distance to the Vatican and historic centre of Rome. There are many good restaurants nearby (booking recommended in high season). The hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet, with plenty of choice to suit most tastes and the dining room was specially... more

Top notch service is what we received during our stay at Hotel Giulio Cesare. As our stay was focused on relaxing and visiting the St. Peter's this was a perfect location. It is a bit of a walk to historic center but not terrible. I'm struck by how the shopping in the neighborhood has changed (for the better) in the... more

After searching through so many options in Rome, we are so glad that we chose this wonderful hotel in the Prati district! Hello to everyone there, especially Manuel and Giovanni! Couldn't have asked for a more delightful stay in Rome and a peaceful place to come to at the end of our site seeing. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.... more

For the most part, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. We were upgraded from the older part of the hotel to the newer to start. The staff was very knowledgeable. Breakfast was awesome. The downsides were that you have to pay for internet, the A/C didn't work, and the location, while on a very quiet road,... more

The Hotel Giulio Cesare is a great hotel, especially if you like to stay in a neighbourhood which is peaceful rather than in amongst all the commotion a capital city has to offer. That said, it was not too far from anything - five minutes to the nearest tube station (Lepanto), and from there it was one stop to the... more

This hotel staff was very friendly and spoke english well. The hotel has a very luxurious feel, with nice common areas for relaxing and a welcoming bar and garden patio area. The location is a relaxing residential area, but very close to a metro stop and a short walk from local restaurants, shopping and the historical sights. more

Hotel in a good location and with a 15 to 20 minute walk to the tourust sites (Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps)etc. For 110 Euro a night I got a spacious modern confortable quiet room Excellent breakfast spread (if that matters)... more
