We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in November. This hotel is a easy walk to any major site in the area. It is a 15-minute walk to Vatican City and just minutes away from shopping and great dining places. Please note that this is a European style hotel. Our room had twin beds pushed together but that... Stayed for a long weekend in Rome. The hotel was in walking distance to all sights but we enjoy walking. The staff are friendly and so helpful rooms very clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the manager even came to say hello every morning. Bar and gardens were lovely to come back and relax after a busy day. We... More

I have stayed here a number of times now and, to me, it is perfect. The rooms are good and so is the breakfast, For me the best thing is the location; it is quiet, near a metro station, near enough to walk into the city and has lots of good restaurants nearby. The Owner serves his honey at breakfast... More

When my wife and I checked in were not given the room we ordered and got stuck with a room that had two separate twin beds the first night, and after a long trip from San Francisco. We could not unpack and had to move to another room the second day. Our new room had bad plumbing and the AC... More

I stayed in this hotel for the first time several years ago, and since then, I have been a loyal customer. The hotel owner, Commendatore Vincenzo Pandolfi, and his wife Valeria are kind and charming; their staff are all friendly. The fruits and vegetables that are served at breakfast come from his farm (no pesticides). Ricotta cheese and honey are... More

Rome is HUGE and I spent a lot of time researching where to stay. As with most people, we were on a budget, but wanted something tidy. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Our flight arrived early morning and we arranged a transfer through the hotel. Our driver was there waiting for us and transferred us to our hotel. Upon... More

The hotel was lovely, although fairly quiet when we stayed- so the bar was empty in the evenings. Generally very friendly reception staff. Good location, within comfortable walking distance of the Vatican (we definitely regretted walking to the Roman forum and colosseum though!). Good breakfast selection, pleasant room with lovely bathroom - although not a very nice view as we... More

Stayed here with my Family wife Kids 17 & 12 for 4 nights. The staff was amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. The building was built in 1915 but has been kept clean the room was perfect. The owner came around to visit everyone at breakfast to see how they were enjoying their stay! When we visit... More

Hotel was lovely, traditional and slightly old fashioned but that was exactly what we wanted. The staff were lovely and friendly, the rooms clean and overall a good stay. The breakfast room is in the basement, it feels very quiet and there is not much atmosphere. It would be good to have this overlooking the lovely garden maybe? Overall it... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
