Located in a quiet area of Rome, near the river and a 15-minute walk from the center where you can find all the restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel offers free parking and WI FI (internet is a little slow, but for checking mail will do). The hotel staff are very polite, professional and know their job. Rooms are decorated... More

This hotel is a fifteen minute walk to the Vatican area. Also close by is the Piazza del Popolo where you can rent segways to tour the Borghese gardens. Piazza del Popolo is also close to the Spanish steps and GREAT shopping. The staff at the hotel were fabulous... Danielo, Simone and Ciro (who by the way makes the BEST... More

What a wonderful hotel! I'm just back after a 3 night stay and given how good a hotel the Giulio Cesare is I'm breaking a habit and leaving a review. First up is the quality and beauty of the building itself. The hotel is beautiful, furnished in a classic style and gives the feeling of real luxury, from the fittings,... More

I am a Professor at Loyola University Chicago and have led study tours to Rome for approximately 10 years. We have used this hotel since it was recommended to us about 7 years ago. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and more graciously helpful than one could want or expect, and because there is little turnover, they seem like old... More

We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is situated close to the river and walking distance from the Vatican. Close enough to the tourist area and busy restaurants. The staff where very helpful and attentive. Emmanuelle was wonderful, giving us useful information and advice on good restaurants in the area. We were there celebrating our... More

It was a suberb stay. We adored the hotel. Quiet neighborhood, amazingly soft bed, wonderful and big bathroom and lovely furniture. Everything was so beautiful. And the breakfast was to die for. If we visit Rome again in the future, we´ll stay here again. The people who worked there was always nice and we were always met with big smiles.

This is my third visit to Rome and know what to expect from Italian Hotels. The hotel is in a quiet but great location for exploring all the great sights in the city. The rooms are very small and would say the bathroom was extremely small (size of a cloakroom). The room decor was nice however a real problem with... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
