The Giulio Cesare is nicely located away from the hustle/bustle of the city, yet close to all the things you want to see. The Vatican is 15-20 minute walk away. The Pantheon and Piazza Navona were within walking distance, as well. The Metro station is a 5-minute walk away. (It was easy to use and quite nice, as far as... More

We had a great stay here. It's located within walking distance of everything in Rome- very close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Vatican City- but is in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby, bar and rooms are clean and very well decorated. The highlight of this stay was the breakfast. Hands down the... More

I didn't find a room in the hotel where I use to stay in Rome. I booked at Giulio Cesare and was really satisfied. Extremely fair price (though, it was a promotion) for a large, clean and quiet room in a gorgeous classical building not far from Lepanto underground stop. Breakfast was of good quality, variety and quantity. I'll definetely... More

Im a fussy traveller and expect everything like when im at home! I had a great experience at Cesare and here is why --- When in rome - do as the romans do! Simple. Take things easy. I got all stressed out with room sizes and bed types. A double bed could well be two singles - its a huge... More

Very nice Hotel. Great way to end our trip in Italy. Room was small but very nice and had a small balcony. Full bathroom. Older hotel and lovely. Emmanuel the bartender was so nice. Helped me practice my Italian and made dinner reservations for us as well. Not too far from the Vatican. Neighborhood is peaceful. Desk staff very helpful.... More

We've stayed at the Giulio Cesare on a number of occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. We remained at the hotel for over two weeks and it became like home. Love the location in this classic and quiet Prati neighborhood. Just a couple of blocks from Piazza del Popolo which leads you to all major sites in the... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here while visiting Rome. It was quite quiet which was nice. At night the hotel has a bar set up and when you have a drink, there are tons of yummy snacks you can enjoy too! The breakfast in the morning was out of control. We love all the options. You could have... More

My wife and I had a couple days of vacation in Rome during the first half of October 2014. As expected, with a lot of tourists around, Rome was a lovely place for such a vacation, also due to the proper weather conditions. Our accomodation in the lovely Hotel Guilio Cesare upgraded our visit in this city. The location of... More

Stayed at Hotel Giulio Cesare in three nights and can recommend it to the full. The hotel is old but with charm. Very quiet area and easy walking distance to many sights. Breakfast was extensive with eggs and bacon, sausages, baked tomatoes and peppers, many sweet pastries, lacked real müsli and coarse bread, and fresh fruit. The service was excellent... More

Me and my boyfriend went here for a week away over our birthdays at the beginning of summer. The hotel was a perfect location for everything you need to do in Rome with only a short walk to the Metro station (which is amazingly easy to use!). Staff were extremely friendly and were happy to help with any questions. The... More
