This is a typical 3* hotel. The hotel is older, and probably in need of refurbishment, but it is not dirty, things are not in disrepair, and it does have some amount of old-style charm to it. The room that I had was rather large for a European hotel, but I think I had an accessible room (room 508). The... More

Just checked out today. The place is sold on its art deco decoration, but in places this is an excuse for in need of refurbishment. They bathroom in my room was dated and certainly in need of redecoration. They also promised me 10% off the prices in the in house restaurant, but it wasn't clear that I had to present... More

Very disappointed with this hotel. Originally asked for room in main hotel after reading reviews here about apts and steps. Arrived after 6:00 p.m. after long tour tired and frustrated with the front desk staff when I brought this up to front desk he just brushed me off and pretended to be on the phone the entire time we waited.... Second trip to Rome and needed a good place to touch down for a night before heading out to Naples and Sorrento. Arrived by train and left by train so wanted close proximity to the station - quick 10 minute walk dragging along suitcases. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Room and bed were comfortable. Room and washroom were... More

The location is across the street from the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. We had room 511 that had windows looking directly across the street to the Basilica. This room did not get the street noise. The service was very good and the staff helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was a very large buffet and included but most of... More

This hotel exceeded my expectations in everyway. My adult daughter and I went to Italy as a College Graduation trip from my mother. We don't speak Italian, but all the restaurant staff and front desk were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. Eating was a bit of a mixed adventure while in Rome, but the hotel restaurant was incredible. Make... More

The hotel served well as the base of operations for our exploration of Rome. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to sleep, so being in the classic Euro style (rooms just large enough for bed) worked just fine. Location is probably the best aspect, close to the iconic St. Maria Maggiore, Termini (and Metro A line),... More

Fantastic hotel close to the train station. The hotel rooms are lovely and clean. Free wifi, however not always working in the room ! The bar at the top of the hotel gives you great views of the city ! Delicious food served at the restaurant. Staff has been fantastic. Would definitely be staying here again if I will go... More

This Hotel has a 4 Star rating and it's part of the reason why we picked it along with other reasons such as location etc. I don't want to say too many negative things about the Hotel but it was not what we expected. First of all we were not in the main hotel and were given a room that... More
