we stayed here for four nights on a couple's break. And would definitely return again. Excellently placed within minutes walk of the train station in Metro this little hotel offers a lot of the money. With views of a stunning basilica(Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore) on a busy shopping street this hotel has it all. The breakfast was plentiful,... More

Small but very comfortable and clean hotel in a good position for seeing as much as possible of the centre of Rome. We had booked a junior suite which we were pleased about as the rooms were quite small and it was nice to have a sofa and small area to enjoy a cup of tea and chill out without... More

The hotel is close to the railway station, which was convenient for our two night break. That said, there are some seedy streets near the station but the Amalfi is in an area that felt safe and was pleasant to walk around. Our room was their cheapest and it was small and opened on to a main road BUT what... More

We stayed at hotel Amalfi for 3 nights, according to great previous reviews. We booked an economy double room, because of reasonable price and we were very satisfied. The room had the window face to the street, so it was noisy, but if you closed it, you could sleep. The size was ok, not too small, how I read here,... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their numerous recommendations were spot on. The room was very clean and fresh and in good condition. The room is a bit small but quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Rome can be a bit daunting, this hotel was a very nice place to come back and unwind.

I stayed at Hotel Amalfi with my boyfriend for 5 nights in March 2012. After reading so many great reviews about the hotel on Trip Advisor prior to our stay, I was really looking forward to coming to Rome and I can now say that we had a wonderful and stress-free stay at Hotel Amalfi! Our room was very clean... More

The staff we're really friendy and happy to help. Connecting to the free wifi was straightforward as long as your device keeps the signon information so you don't have to re-enter it all every time you connect. Emilio recommended the sights we needed to visit and was spot on. He also told us about a restaurant round the corner and... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. Location is brilliant. A few minutes away from termini. 10 minute walk to Colluseum, 15 minute walk to Trevi fountain, 20 minutes to pantheon in one direction or travestere in another, 30 minute walk to Vatican. Breakfast was everything I expected of a continental breakfast- cereal, fruit salad, fresh fruit, juices, cereal, croissant and yogurts.... More
