This hotel whilst not boasting the best frontage is great for those people staying for a couple of days in Rome. You can walk to all the attractions easily and it's only 5 minutes from the main train station. Make sure you eat at the restaurants between the hotel and the city centre, the food is fantastic and the prices... More

This hotel truly is a hidden gem and my family was so happy I found it. It was exactly what I was looking for and the reviews on this site helped me with this choice. This lovely hotel has rooms that are small but extremely clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Perfect for familiesM

Excellent location, close to the Colosseum and other historic sites. Staff was helpful, provided a free map which we used a lot. Beautiful city and very walkable. Bathroom was small but done the job. Room wasn`t big either but at the end of the day, we were so tired that we were happy to jump into the shower, watch some tv... More

Stayed for 4 nights and very pleased with value for money. Liked the location as it is right by the up and coming bohemian Monti area where there are some great little restaurants & bars and lovely buzzing streets. Decor is in keeping with the traditional Roman building, all spotlessly clean. Our room was 3rd floor at the front but... More

This hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the Colosseum and the bus/train station. The members of staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a good range of options at breakfast. It is a compact, very clean little hotel. I would recommend staying here and would visit again

What a smashing little hotel. Staff are fantastic & very helpful. Basic breakfast but really not an issue. We didn't fancy a huge meal as it was so hot when we were there. Please remember, this is Rome! If you want entertainment & hotel bar then go elsewhere. Plenty of restaurants around the area. We usually ate out in the... More

If you are looking for a 5star fancy hotel then the Amalfi is not for you. But if you are looking for a lovely b&b style accommodation in a great central location then this is perfect. Was welcomed when we arrived to reception and directed up to our room. The staff were all very friendly. The room was basic but... More

The Amalfi Hotel was a great hotel for our first trip to Rome. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Our room had a view as in the hotel photo on this page (with the flags) and had a stunning view of the basilica Santa de Mary of Maggiore. The breakfasts were great and there was plenty to... More

The check in was easy and friendly. My room ( single #103) had very high ceiling with a skylight and remote which was awesome! Floors are marble and the room kept immaculate. Breakfast and the ladies were cheerful and friendly. Location is very close to the basilica Santa de Mary of Maggiore which is stunningly beautiful inside. However the neighborhood... More

This hotel is in a good location with both attractions and restaurants nearby, and a shortish walk from the railway station. The hotel is tastfully decorated although our bedroom was very small with only space to hang clothes with no drawers (but they do find space for a mini bar). The breakfast room isn't big but the food on offer... More
