We stayed for a week from 8th June and would recommend this hotel. The location is good, walking distance from the train station but far enough away to be nice. It's on a busy road but the view onto the street from the little balcony was great. Walking distance from pretty much everything. This is not a purpose built top... More

My son and I have just returned from a trip to Rome, spending 5 nights at the Hotel Amalfi. When travelling I only really look at hotels as a place to sleep as I have no intention of spending sightseeing time in a hotel room. For this purpose the Hotel Amalfi was absolutely the right choice. I had checked the... More

We chose this Hotel since is located kitty corner of the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, and it's a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station, and subway station. We spent 4 days there and had a wonderful time! The Front Desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and have double pane windows. The hotel is centrally... More

This hotel was in a good location. We got a bit turned around finding it, but after we got there it was perfectly easy. The room was a little small, but that is expected in a large European city. We were able to walk almost everywhere (we are avid runners so this may not be suitable for everyone). Breakfast was... More

My family and I spent 5 days at this property. The location is great, rooms are a good size and very clean. We had a triple as there were 3 of us. I cannot say enough positives about the hotel and the staff especially Cosimo & Francesco. They were very knowledgeable about the city and also pleasant and accommodating. I... More

Great location for all attractions, close to Metro, Colosseum, Trevi fountain etc. Downside no restaurant but recommended a nearby one which was lovely. Lift VERY small and rooms need updating but it was clean and staff are extremely helpful & friendly.

We just spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was very good value. The room was larger than expected and quite comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tight on space but not really an issue. Location is excellent and is only about 5 minutes walk from Rome's main train station. There are a number of restaurants close by and... More

Very friendly and helpful desk clerk when we arrived. He was very happy to help and answer any questions about the area. Room was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good and the service was excellent. Hotel is close to the Coliseum ( walking distance) and the subway and lots of Restaurants and Cafe's in the neighborhood.

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
