We had an absolutely great stay in Hotel Amalfi and recommend it to everyone who wants to stay there! The location is probably one of the best you can have in Rome. It is save; restaurants, supermarkets as well as bus/metro stops are around the corner and most of the Sightseeing highlights are within short walking distance. One step out... More

Hop on/off Bus"citysightseeing Roma" stops nearby. Room: Many people find the rooms small, we found it adequate, they were cleaned everyday (fresh towels if/when required, Our room(315) was... More

Real guest? The dimension of the room are written clearly everywhere, all the staff speak in english... So or you don't understand something or you're writing about the wrong place. Be more responsable in writing on Tripadvisor cause is not a game! Regards More

No need to go into detail as there are many very fine reports of this gem of a hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely (if compact for some reviewers) rooms, ideal location for all sites, very good price. In it's position in one of the major cities of the world it cannot be beaten.

Stayed at The Amalfi Hotel for 4 nights. The location is fantastic right in the city centre within sight of Maria Maggiore Church and within 5 mins walk of Termini Station,10-15 mins walk to other major sites such as Collesium, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain. Room was on the small side but it was a kingsize bed which was very comfy.... More

Small, very pleasant family-run hotel, conveniently situated for access to all of Rome's sights.I accept that the bedroom space was "limited" but it's an old building in the centre of a city and the space issue is addressed on the hotel website. Spotlessly clean with helpful staff - a special word of praise for the lady in charge of the... More

Dear Guest, Thankyou so much for sharing your opinion! As you told this is an historic hotel runned by the same family from many years. Being in a historic building and as usual in Rome the rooms are not very spacious. On our site we decided to enter the size in square meters to be as clear as possible with... More

Its situation was perfect for our trip being central to all the sites of interest in the city as well as being convieniently placed for the bus and train termini. Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
