This is a great wee hotel. Staff very friendly. Within walking distance of The Colliseum and the Roman Forum. Train station just across the road. There something spectacular around every corner in Rome & this hotel is ideally placed for exploring the whole city.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Amalfi Hotel in Rome for 3 nights in April. It was a most enjoyable visit. On arrival we were greeted by the most pleasant manager, who spoke very good English. We were immediately made to feel welcome. Our compact room had pleasant big windows with a view over the busy main street.... More

We were moved here following a 'problem' with another three star hotel round the corner. The Amalfi is wonderful, family run and caring. The bedrooms are clean and tidy with a really good bathroom. We had a front room and yes, there is obviously road noise but with the window shut you cant hear it, but still enjoy the views.... More

Nice location, lots of restaurant nearby, close to roma termini station, hop on/off bus stops. Had a pleasant stay. The reception service was very helpful. Breakfast was average but good enough to get our day started.

This hotel was fairly basic but clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. About a 2 minute walk from the Hop on Hop off bus stop which was very helpful and handy. Lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets on the same road. bus and train terminal about a 6/7 min walk away. Very happy to have chosen this... More

This is a small, clean, safe and well run hotel. Our room (319) was very clean and quiet (doesn't face the busy street). The queen sized bed was firm and the pillows adequate. The room isn't large, but it was fine for two people and had a desk. WiFi reception was good. The bathroom was larger than expected and included... More

Friendly staff For breakfast good selection of crossants, bread, cold meats, cheese, pastries, cereals Cons: Limited seats at breakfast time and have to wait a few minutes for a table to become available Not all the staff could speak fluent English, could get confusing. I asked reception... More

Dear Guest, Thankyou for reviewing us! We're happy you had a nice stay with us! Thankyou for advising us about the negative so we can improve our service :) I just want to stress that the iron is not allowed in our hotel for fire safety regulation. (and is written inside every room on the wall). That's why we suggest... More

We had an absolutely great stay in Hotel Amalfi and recommend it to everyone who wants to stay there! The location is probably one of the best you can have in Rome. It is save; restaurants, supermarkets as well as bus/metro stops are around the corner and most of the Sightseeing highlights are within short walking distance. One step out... More
