After being chauffeur driven to the hotel we were greeted by the concierge standing in front of this Stunning hotel. upon entering the hotel it became apparent that this was a 'wow' hotel. The staff were very helpful and gave good advice regarding 'the sights'. Our only down side was not having tea/coffee making facilities in our room. It certainly... More

A perfect week in Rome made all the better for our stay at the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese. Beautiful rooms, a great location and a fantastic breakfast. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the Borghese Gardens and the Museum of Modern Art, and, thanks to the courtesy mini bus very easy to get into the centre of Rome. The... More

Have stayed in Roma on previous occasions and this was most certainly the best hotel. Despite being a single traveller, my room was upgraded to a deluxe room and I found the reception and staff in general to be most efficient, friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but there is an excellent complimentary shuttle... More

Need to say this is my second stay at this hotel. Last time I have been here in summer time. Now the hotel feeling is quite different but still very positive. The staff has been again fantastic, our accommodation was also bigger and upgraded than last time: first quality marbles, wood parquet in the room, very clean, and marvelous amenities.... More

we spent a week at Aldrovandi Villa Borghese and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the bellman and our car was parked for us in the private parking. The front desk staff was very welcoming, attentive and we were upgraded to a deluxe room that met all of our needs. The breakfast was superb; the lobby... More

The glory days of this place is long gone, along with service, room quality and glitz you can see on hotel's video on it's web site (good video shooting is a great art!). While the nearby Villa Borghese Park is great, do not be fooled - the hotel sits on the outskirts of central Rome outside the back wall of... More

If you are looking for a hotel that reminds you of home, then this is the hotel of choice. It is quaint and seems to feature in a bygone era of excellent service, attention to detail and, above all, catering for your individual needs. It was not just the turning down of the bed or the slippers placed next to... More

during October 2014, we spent 6 days in 'your' hotel. We had a very agreable stay in the Aldrovandi! Special thanks to all the hotel staff (from reception, breakfast, dinner in the garden...to the driver of the shuttle bus to mention only some). Everybody was efficient, friendly & always able to find the appropriate 'distance' for interaction with the client.... More

No air conditioning during these period of the year. Even If the temperature is high, the option available in only heating. And don't stay in the park / strett view room. Vey noisy and difficult to sleep.

Of our total of 4 trips to Rome this is definitely the best hotel we stayed in and really made it the best trip for us. Great location in a very nice quiet area next to Borghese gardens and yet so easy to get to all the key sites, Vatican etc. The staff made us very welcome and looked after... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
