Stayed for 7 nights and found great facility, good service and way more comfortable than other hotels we stayed at in Rome. Breakfast was great food and good variety with lovely coffee. Good advice regarding tours and travel. Very helpful when we had a family injury. Only negative is Internet access is sporadic, but always available in the lobby. Would... More

its a pleasant place, the negatives are quickly counted: Breakfast - you get an orange juice from some artificially mixed substance plus they love the canned food on the buffet - a shame for a place where food has such a high value Rooms - they are nice, clean, but the walls are a bit thin, you hear your neighbour!... Very nice area near the city wall. Very central and easy to walk to the main attractions and shops. Staff extremely helpful. Very good breakfast lots of choice. Free wifi. Room large size. Clean good sized bathroom. For location and short time in Rome I would definitely recommend.

This is definitely a vintage hotel with a few extras--such as the lovely rooftop gardens. The Borghese Gardens are about 2 blocks away and offer a peaceful alternative to braving the crowds around the tourist areas. There are a couple of decent restaurants nearby (Pizzeria San Marco is very good and Il Pomodorino is OK) and the Spanish Steps are... More

The hotel is tired and a bit shabby now but the staff were friendly. I never expect stunning rooms in Italian hotels and this one is a bit chintzy. The room wasn't large but the bathroom was huge. The bathroom fittings were needing repaired. Situated in a good location for walking down the hill to the main attractions or across... More

It's my second time in this hotel, i've being to it on 2009 and now in december. The hotel is old but it's comfortable enough. The rooms were clean, but the housekeeping wasn't that good (sometimes it forgot to place towels, soaps, toilet paper). The front desk was very helpful in every kind of way. The hotel is not so... We booked through our agent not at all expecting anything out of the ordinary. After all we had read the hotel is as good as any nearby typical old hotel at via campana. but we were wrong. We arrived at 9am and the room was not ready until 2pm. Mr . Adriano, the chief concierge, knew how tired we had... More

Our family of four (two parents, two teenagers) found a great place to stay in the Victoria Hotel, while in Rome for an 8-day holiday. The location was very close to the Borghese Gallery, and within a short walk to Piazza Popolo, the Spanish Steps and the Termini, in different directions. Our room was very clean and well cared-for each... More

We are staying in the Victoria hotel right now, Rome is super in wintertime, sunny but short days. The hotel is very nice, a good location if you like walking. We walkend with suitcases from Termini to the hotel, about half an hour. The room is ok, we booked a double room, but I don't know if we got one.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
