The Hotel Victoria is a traditional Italan hotel. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy. I have now stayed there 5 times and when I return to Rome I will try to stay there again. Rooms at the rear are quiter than the ones on the front as there is a major road just the... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was very comfortable, and so were the pillows. The weather was really great so i was able to sleep with the windows open and except for about a 1/2 hour (around 9PM?) every night it was super quiet. I think there were people lining up outside of a bar or something -... More

We were in Rome in 2005 and stayed in this hotel, this time without hesitation we booked again and stayed 4 nights.Very early advance payment including VAT and breakfast was an advantage but don’t forget there is only some minor additional city tax while checking out.It is a traditional Rome hotel , the gentlemen at the repection working there for 38... We stayed here for three nights. At first we thought it may be noisy as you are near a main road through Rome, however with the roman wall in front of you, you can't hear a thing. The check in was fluid and shown up to our room, just as you would expect with all that you want and was... More

We stayed in the hotel for four nights. We were three adults and three children/grandchildren. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Spacey rooms - we had two triple rooms - that were cleaned every day. The hotel is close to the beautiful park Villa Borghese, the Metro, shops and restaurants. Finally, but not least... More

Stayed at the hotel with my father and brother. From the very beginning of our visit in Rome the staff was helpfull and made sure we had everything alright. The rooms were a bit outdated decoration wise, but the bathrooms were nice and everything was clean. We had two rooms, one for me and one for my brother and father.... More

The location was absolutely amazing, being only about a 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. There is also a taxi stop just a block down and public transportation, making it a safe and easy to navigate location. The hotel itself was beautiful and exceeded all expectations!

Stayed at this hotel for an Irish rugby weekend and it was absolutely great and perfect for our needs with a very friendly staff who gave us good advice and ensured we enjoyed our weekend. We wanted to see the other games on TV and they really worked at it to ensure we did. A gracious looking hotel well decorated... More

Stayed for 7 nights and found great facility, good service and way more comfortable than other hotels we stayed at in Rome. Breakfast was great food and good variety with lovely coffee. Good advice regarding tours and travel. Very helpful when we had a family injury. Only negative is Internet access is sporadic, but always available in the lobby. Would... More

its a pleasant place, the negatives are quickly counted: Breakfast - you get an orange juice from some artificially mixed substance plus they love the canned food on the buffet - a shame for a place where food has such a high value Rooms - they are nice, clean, but the walls are a bit thin, you hear your neighbour!... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
