We booked our Italy vacation through Perillo Tours and Hotel Victoria is the hotel that was included in our package. It's a beautiful hotel that is a few minutes away from the main part of the city. It's not loud or busy near it at all, which is kind of nice because you don't hear anything when you're in your... More

Fantastic authentic Italian hotel, ideal position for visiting all the sights of Rome We stayed 2 nights and we're delighted with the friendly helpful staff both at reception and in the rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed both lunch and dinner. The room was big and spacious but was a little dated with no air conditioning but was spotlessly clean. Loved... More

Although the hotel was under construction during our stay in May 2015, the hotel was beautiful, rooms were small but clean and we enjoyed some peace and quiet time at the rooftop bar. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and enjoyed the food and views. The staff seemed preoccupied but with some diligence on our part, we did get... More

Beautiful hotel with very pleasant staff. Rooms are small but very clean and comfy. We had a wonderful few days using this hotel as our base for visiting Rome. Nice rooftop bar with very scenic view of the city. Very close to many great sites, Resturants and shops

Apart from the morning staff a young girl and elder man on front desk and a waitress in the breakfast room with white long hair, the entire hotel staff are just nasty. We had dinner the first night in the restaurant the service and attitude of the servers was just plain rude. The food was very nice but after waiting... More

From July 4 to July 8 I stayed at Victoria with my family. Great location just one block from Via Veneto. Great Staff always worried about you, and Presto to any question. Good breakfast with comfortable hours. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Very nice.

having had two horrible experiences re our initial hotel choice my wife and our two best friends ended up at the Victoria, Roma. The staff at the hotel were wonderful with no request for service being to much trouble. The room was spacious, very clean with a good sized bathroom and excellent shower. Lots of storage space for clothes etc... More

A cute hotel in a quiet part of town but still close to major attractions. Nice roof top bar/restaurant area. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Bathroom also clean, showers are very small though. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our room overlooked the park and was comfortable and quiet for our three nights stay with a lovely large bathroom The terrace bar is relaxing and we enjoyed a drink before going out in the evening. Continental Breakfast was lovely with everything available together with eggs and bacon. It was around fifteen minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and Villa... More

I needed a room for a night before joining a group of friends in Rome. The Victoria was inexpensive and let me stay for just a single night. The location was extremely convenient to the Spanish Steps and some great restaurants. Very happy with my stay there.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
