My family and I had the pleasure of staying few days in Hotel Victoria beginning of this July. From the minute you step in until you check out, you are blessed to be pampered by love, respect and Italian hospitality. Rooms are spacious, clean and breakfast is mind blowing in a way that you can easily skip the lunch. It... More

Victoria Roma is a very pleasant hotel by a wonderful Roman Wall and the lovely Borghese gardens/park. If we go back to Rome, I think it's quite likely that we'll stay there again. PROS: 1. Pleasant airy room with huge bathroom and entry area big enough to sit in while others sleep. 2. Scrupulously clean. 3. Very comfortable mattress. 4.... More

Stayed three nights. Room was very clean and huge bathroom. Breakfast excellent with good choice. Bar for night cap quiet but very good. Service everywhere was excellent. We stayed I. The 5th floor. Main attractions walkable. Opposite is the beautiful ancient city wall and the park behind which were amazing. Only small problem is the air conditioning not on at... More

Room was small but for Europe standards it was ok fir size, bed was very good at all aspects, bathroom was big... Breakfast was odd, although small in choices, but they were all delicious, what makes the breakfast very good in general. The hotel had what you would have expected from a 4 star hotel, but what was more is... More

I have stayed at the Victoria a number of times in the past few years and have found it generally ok. Staying here in November I found it less comfortable and showing its age. The hotel is well placed in Rome close to the botanical gardens which it overlooks. It's also close to the old roman wall and a busy... More

Hotel Victoria was old but classy, very clean and rooms a good size and bright in colors, we had a balcony and took pictures of the streets and buildings. Art work on the walls throughout was magnificent. Dining on the roof garden was a delightful experience, knowledgeable staff, and the food was very good and presented very well. Walking through the... More

Lovely location, walking distance form lots of attractions. Major problem was lack of air conditioning. Fortunately we could open windows to cool at night. Room was small but adequate. Breakfast buffet was good.

This was one of the hotels on our Perillo Tours. Location was OK, would have preferred a little further South closer to main tourist attractions. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of selection. Rooms vary dramatically in size and furnishings throughout the hotel. our room was middle size compared to others we saw from friends.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
