Having paid a fortune for five night stay in Rome at this hotel, it was a complete let down. It's advertised in Top Ten Rome rooms with a view. Our view was of a wall. A red wall. As a result of the wall the room was dark and dreary. The staff were far from attentive and were very rude... More

We have stayed at the Hotel Victoria twice, in September and four years ago. It is a wonderful, inviting hotel set in a quiet part of Rome. The rooms are generous and tastefully decorated. There is the bonus of a roof-top restaurant and bar. But the best reason to stay is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. No one... More

Thank you to the Hotel Victoria for a wonderful stay in Rome. It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful roof terrace and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is good, lots of fruit and cold & hot selection. The location is great - peaceful but within walking to the Spanish Steps and the rest of the sites in Rome.

the service was excellent...they were extremely helpful....the roof terrace was delightful and peaceful. Thank you everyone for making our Rome experience a fun one.....the street near by Via veneto is amazing and worth the walk.

I travelled with my Husband on an award from work. We found the hotel traditionaly decorated, with parts a bit dated. It was very clean the rooms were decently sized and had amenities we needed though a kettle would have been nice. We had continental breakfast and there was a huge choice available. The restaurant menu looked nice and the roof... More

This was our second stay at the Victoria. The room was very small, but the bathroom was enormous. Though the furniture is dated and the upholstery is very tired and in need of new fabric, the hotel was very clean. Reasonably priced for Rome, the location is within easy walking distance of the best shopping and many major attractions. The... More

This hotel was booked for us by Italyvacations from Perillo tours, who obviously uses this for their tour groups (there was a large tour group there when we checked in) it's rated 4 stars but it needs some updating. Our "king" room on the first floor rm 125 was a double bed, not even a queen. It was very very... More

This Hotel is in need of major remodels to be classified as a 4 Star for our standards. Linens are old, carpets in the room were dirty, bed frame was dirty and ripped, a very small room for a king bed, the rest of the hotel was old and furniture is in dire need of updating. The only great thing... More

I would call Hotel Victoria a boutique hotel. Clean, friendly, with a good breakfast. Eight maybe ten block to good shopping but it downhill and you have to get back. My only complaint is no wash cloths. We were with a tour group but we were not the only Americans there. At their prices I don't think a couple of... More

First time in Rome and first break without the children. We arrived at the Victoria early and were advised our room would be ready in a couple of hours. We were pleased with the check in process and politeness of the staff who secured our luggage so we could get on and do some exploring. The Victoria is sort of... More
