5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I needed a room for a night before joining a group of friends in Rome. The Victoria was inexpensive and let me stay for just a single night. The location was extremely convenient to the Spanish Steps and some great restaurants. Very happy with my stay there.

It had been 14 years since we last stayed at the Hotel Victoria so we were a bit concerned that their level of service might have declined. Not to worry. We were surprised to find the same wonderful man (name escapes me but he's balding and stout) at the front desk. He again went out of his way to make... More

Stayed three (3) nights - welcoming staff, delicious full hot breakfast & great lobby & rooftop bars. Ask for room in the renovated wing which are modern with well appointed bathrooms & oversized tubs.

The hotel is located near villa Borghese. To get to Fountain Trevi, piazza Navona and other sights took us app 40 minutes. However Spanish steps and Villa itself just in 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Staff is amicable, breakfast is good, rooms are clean and spacious. However the price seems to be overestimated for June, for this kind of... More

I bokked the Victoria Hotel six days before departure through the BA Executive Club. The hotel is in a good location across the road from the Villa Borghese and Gardens and near Via Veneto where you can find good shops and restaurants. There is a taxi rank just two minutes walk left out of the hotel, but walking to the... More

This was my second time to stay at Hotel Victoria, and as with my first experience, I had a great stay. The hotel staff were very cordial and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean, and up to date. I plan to use Hotel Victoria again the next time I am in Rome. It is especially convenient to the Villa... More

This hotel is within walking distance of many important sites you might want to visit. It is near the Vatican as well as other places. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. If you eat at the hotel, the food is very good. You don't need to wear really dressy clothes, just slacks, crop pants, shirts, possibly dressy... More

I enjoyed the location, breakfast, staff...the rooftop bar was beautiful. All was great except the wifi is dismal. It doesn't connect in the room unless you are standing on your head near a doorway. It is very frustrating to try to plan where you are going each day without wifi access. I am hoping the hotel will read this and... More

Stayed only one night after a week-long cruise and wish we could have stayed at this hotel longer. Rooftop bar was an absolute sanctuary with exemplary service. Oversized deluxe bathroom and expansive free breakfast added to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
