I have some difficulties to know how to rate this hotel in my short review. The hotel got some good points as well as some bad ones. So I guess it boils down to what is most important to each visitor. The hotel is located in a good and convenient area. Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was... More

Just back from 4 nights in the Hotel. Its a fantastic hotel in a lovely area to the left of the hotel there is lots of restaurants bars and shops, Harry's bar is a 5 min walk away and the Hard Rock Cafe isn't too far away either. The rooms are pretty basic, they have a tv but with very... More

This hotel is ok just for getting your head down, there are no extras, rooms a very basic, NO kettle, to make a cuppa after being out all day. so take a travel kettle, not even one for hire. the breakfast are ok, fill up, as it can be expensive in rome. we got a tea and coffee on way... More

Had a brilliant time in Rome staying at the Savoy Hotel. The hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing and the hotel staff were really helpful in giving us directions where needed and advice on public transport. We stayed on a bed an breakfast basis and the breakfast was really good with plenty of choice.

Our stay at the Hotel Savoy was a very mixed experience. Very good location, just off Via Veneto. Not far from Villa Borghese park area, the Spanish Steps etc. Hotel in reasonable condition and with nice/classy roof garden restaurant. Other reasonable restaurants nearby. Also Harry's Bar just up the road for Bellinis and coffee. Breakfast is in a basement room......ok... More

Dear Wakerley, here at the Savoy we always try to exceed clients' expetations and I feel sorry we could not complitely satisfy yours. As I often wrote here on Tripadvisor the Savoy is located in an ancient Palazzo and our rooms are all different in size and forniture due to this fact; I regret you did not like the room... More

We stayed at the Hotel Savoy 3 nights in April 2013. Our room was a bit too warm but otherwise nice. The bathroom was renovated and very clean. The included breakfast was in a beautifully decorated basement room. The location is good, just a few blocks form the Spanish Steps.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel last weekend. It was a perfect location, near to many of the main sights and also near to Metro Barberini. The staff were most helpful. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely-great variety. One of my friends celebrated her birthday while we were there and a bottle of Champagne... More

Transferred from original hotel because of overbooking, we were pleased with this hotel although much larger than our usual preferences. The room was very good, clean and quiet although overlooking the main avenue outside. Service perfect - staff attentive and pleasant - and breakfast was top-class with plenty of options. If you prefer larger hotels then this is a good choice.

A wonderful hotel to stay in. The room was very clean with a large bathroom. All the staff were very helpful with the reception staff speaking excellent English.
