Vacationed at the hotel Savoy for 4 nights. The location is a good walk to most places, but you tend to walk a lot in Rome anyway. Customer service is superb, although they need to quicken check in which took nearly 15mins. The general areas of the hotel are nice, however the rooms are dated and the elevators antiquated (haven't... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. 1st impressions were excellent, the guy on reception was so friendly & helpful, suggesting places to eat, showing us how to get to all the main attractions on a map etc. All the staff at this hotel are very efficient and friendly! The room was great, good size, bathroom fine, TV,... More

I felt so cozy and comfortable in this hotel. It was the last hotel we stayed in, but the room was sizeable, and the location on a tree lined street felt cozy and safe. We walked everywhere from this spot, and although we probably could have been a little more central, we were not sorry. Of the four hotels we... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon journey across Italy. We found our room to be modern and spotlessly clean. Staff were extremely helpful and, on our arrival, a member of the reception team provided us with a map and, unprompted by us, he took the time to highlight landmarks and advise us... More

We stayed 3 nights and the Savoy Rome and were treated with 5 star service from the moment we walked through the door. It's the perfect hotel located in a beautiful part of the city, on a tree lined street close to lots of restaurants and bars. The service was amazing and everyone was so helpful and caring about making... More

We stayed for 3 nights. Nice room with decent air con (was 39 degrees C outside!). Very pleasant staff, very clean rooms. Good selection for breakfast and the meal we had in the restaurant on the terrace was great. Also very close to Barberini metro stop and not far to walk into the city centre. Would definately recommend.

We stayed two nights at the Savoy and found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful, updated room and enjoyed the substantial breakfast. The best feature of the hotel is the location just off (by steps) the Via Veneto. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at Savoy. Visited Rome during heat wave and returned to a cold room every evening. Very clean hotel with friendly, staff. We used the daily laundry service which was convenient and prompt. Savoy is located near all the major sights in Rome. Excellent breakfast buffet and rooftop restaurant open for dinner. We would prefer this Hotel... More

Loved the Savoy. Stayed there on our way back from the Amalfi coast. Great location, near the Via Veneto and Spanish Steps. Luxurious rooms, great rooftop restaurant. Definitely will stay there again!

The Hotel Savoy is a nice Hotel but I have some mixed feelings about it. For one, we had 14 in our group, 5 rooms, and made the reservation some 6 months in advance. Most of the rooms were on different floors which made it more difficult to visit family members without using the elevator or stairs. My room, along... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
