Hotelis maybe 10% occupied yet we're given probably the worst room in the entire building. The bathroom smells of the drains,we're on the sixth floor above the parapet so the tiny window has no veiw. The restaurant serves food that is at best tepid and entirely unseasoned. There are however plus points, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast... More

Had a lovely stay in this hotel, steps off the Via Veneto. The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant, which was nice even in December. The Borghese Gardens are a few blocks away. It is about halfway between the Piazza Barberini and the Spanish Steps. Piazza Barberini is slightly closer via a 10-15 minute down the Via Veneto. The... More

We spent 2 nights here in early December, having booked through Secret Escapes for a bargain price. The hotel's location allowed us to walk to all the major sites - we even walked leisurely back to the hotel from St Peter's one afternoon, stopping to browse in the many shops along the way. The staff were more than helpful, and... More

We spent 4 nights here in late Oct before our cruise and loved our stay here. Our room on the 6th floor was recently remodeled and had a beautiful modern bathroom with walk-in shower. The central location was great. One day we easily walked to The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon stopping for pizza, gelato and pastry in little... More

I liked this hotel. I got it on a deal through secret escapes for £80 a night which was a bargain. Its not a four star but a 3 star plus. The rooms are large and quiet. Mine could have done with a slight refurb but my room may have reflected the deal I had. There is no coffee/tea in... More

We stayed at the charming Hotel Savoy in November 2014 for several days before our cruise, and met with our daughter who flew in to visit from another European county. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had special accessibility needs, and they met them all. Staff also spoke English, which helped us a lot. The central location in... More

We stayed there for three nights in November 2014. The hotel is beautiful from the entrance, rooms are clean, comfortable and big enough. We have a child 2 years old and he really liked this hotel and the staff. The staff is really helpful and patience with us. Breakfast is very good, with variety of food. The hotel is near... More

Lovely hotel - clean and updated, with very nice rooms. Breakfast (included) is solid, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Wifi is expensive, unfortunately, but the staff was nice enough to give us an hour free to check in for our flights. Hotel is in a good location on a fairly quiet street about 5 minutes from the... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
