We stayed 3 nights and the Savoy Rome and were treated with 5 star service from the moment we walked through the door. It's the perfect hotel located in a beautiful part of the city, on a tree lined street close to lots of restaurants and bars. The service was amazing and everyone was so helpful and caring about making... More

We stayed two nights at the Savoy and found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful, updated room and enjoyed the substantial breakfast. The best feature of the hotel is the location just off (by steps) the Via Veneto. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at Savoy. Visited Rome during heat wave and returned to a cold room every evening. Very clean hotel with friendly, staff. We used the daily laundry service which was convenient and prompt. Savoy is located near all the major sights in Rome. Excellent breakfast buffet and rooftop restaurant open for dinner. We would prefer this Hotel... More

Loved the Savoy. Stayed there on our way back from the Amalfi coast. Great location, near the Via Veneto and Spanish Steps. Luxurious rooms, great rooftop restaurant. Definitely will stay there again!

The Hotel Savoy is a nice Hotel but I have some mixed feelings about it. For one, we had 14 in our group, 5 rooms, and made the reservation some 6 months in advance. Most of the rooms were on different floors which made it more difficult to visit family members without using the elevator or stairs. My room, along... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the locations it's close to the Spanish steps and other sightseeing. The room was really small and dark and the decorations was old and not in a good way. The service was fine, I wished that I had a chance to visit the rooftop i think it has a good view

Nice lobby, Nice location, but I feel it was just a tad bit over priced. Everything was extra, and no electric converters available. I believe Cunard Cruise Lines got a cut of the action. I have stayed in better for less.

Booked through Secret Escape. Great location, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was nice too. Also the breakfast was pretty good. The free Wifi not so good, but we did not use it so much. Would definately come back for another visit!!

This is a beautiful hotel..I only wished we could have stayed here. We arrived from Sorrento only to find out that our rooms were not available - a computer overbooking. They were adamant they could not accommodate our non cancellable prepaid rooms. We were shuttled off to another 4 star hotel no where near as nice around the corner. When... More

The rooms were clean and the bathroom was a good size. The front desk personal were very helpful. There was not one staff member that did not go out of there way to make our stay memorable. The location was on a beautiful tree lined street. The breakfast was fantastic. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
