The hotel is walking distance from many tourist attractions, shops, restaurants,it is very convenient. Our room was nice and comfortable. They have many different languages on TV available. Complimentary coffee in the afternoon for a break is a plus. I would not recomend this hotel for people too sensitive to noise. The hotel is located in a big avenue and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is situated right next to a Metro station so it is very easy to reach all the main sights in the city. The colosseum is just a 10 min walk away. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast wasn't bad,... More

Stayed here with kids in two adjacent rooms. Location is good.....very good for colloseum and ancient rome and all other major places in walking dostance (except vatican) Hotel and rooms are ok. Major problem for us was noise from street. We were on 2nd floor facing street. Breakfast is average (kids always love buffets). Coffee not great. Good value though.... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in a very comfortable room. Service was good with helpful English speaking desk staff. Was able to leave important papers in safe at front desk after checkout which was convenient. The rooms have minibars, but you can put your own food inside if necessary.

The good characteristics: - good location 5 minutes to termini, 5' to the collosseum and 15-30' to the rest of the main attractions in rome; - great staff, very helpful, client oriented, professional. The not so good: - the rooms are not properly cleaned: there was a lot of dust everywhere, the sheets were not clean - in the last... More

Dear guest we thank you for having spent your time to give your comments . We are happy you appreciated our staff , but in the meantime it is sad that you had problems in the room - ( cleanliness and some noise and other problems ) we could have them solved upon mention to the staff whose service you... This hotel is so centrally located. Walking distance to Colosseum and Forum and so easy to get where you need to go. Staff were VERY helpful when we wanted to get off the beaten path. Restaurants are ok but the cafes around the corner are much much better.

The location was really what did it for us here. The room was large, air conditiioned and the whole hotel was decorated to a very high standard. The staff were professional, attentive and did everything that we asked of them. The location is perfect - just down the road is the main station and a local metro station, the other... More

Location is important in Rome and this hotel is in the heart of antiquity, as well as near shops, restaurants and a Metro station. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable and the environment was quiet and safe. The bathroom was oddly designed, as the toilet was up against a wall and facing the sink, with only a few inches... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
