A very pleasant hotel, a very short walk from the Colosseum but a progressively longer walk to many other sights. Service very prompt and the breakfast buffet very nice. Would say that the bathrooms are showing signs of being a little tired and cramped, but that would be my sole complaint.

The room was clean and the service was great. Good selection of breakfast and clearly a busy hotel. Every tourist attraction is almost with in walking distance and the metro stop is just around the corner (5 min walk). Wifi is free in the lobby area, but you have to pay if you want wifi in room. Cost about €8... More

This hotel was selected by Norwegian as part of their land and sea excursion. We checked in on a Sunday and departed Wednesday for the ship First time in Rome and Italy for my wife, teen daughter and I Lobby and common area on main floor made us assume it may not be a great experience. The decor is a... More

The location of this hotel is great, it's right in the centre of everything - just around the corner from the Colosseum and within walking distance to the historic centre. The hotel itself is also great. The rooms are recently refurbished, very clean and quiet and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is very big with a lovely spacious... More

We stayed here for 4 days and based our booking on reviews of the close proximity to the Colosseum. However, we couldn't believe how close it actually was!!! Literally a few minutes walk as it is at the bottom of the road - BRILLIANT for beating queues as you can get there early (we only queued 30 mins but the... More

The Hotel was easy to deal with even before we arrived. Having heard horror stories about the taxis in Rome I wanted to ensure that we arrived at the hotel in comfort and without paying an extortionate price. I phoned the hotel prior to our trip the staff were helpful and after exchanging details via email I arranged a car... More

We just back from our round world trip, over all the hotel we stayed this one is the worst... We stayed there for two night. Hotel location is great that's all good things I can say. Facilities are so out of dated, bathroom need renovate, painting off the wall, shower are leaking water into the bath room, after two of... More

This was our first hotel on our 10 day tour. I was so impressed with this hotel. We were not expecting such a large room and the bathroom was so modern. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were not as friendly as the other hotels we stayed at but they were not rude either. They were just busy. There... More

I stayed with my 2 young boys for only one night and this is really my only gripe as I wished we had more time to spend in Rome. I wanted to show my kids the Colosseum etc and from a location point of view you cannot go past this hotel. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was... More

We stayed at the Palatino Hrand Hotel for 3 nights. I honestly wish we'd had more time there! Unfortunately, we were so busy with tours, we didn't realize how close to the coliseum and the Roman Forum we were!! The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were modern. Tha beds were quite comfortable. We had a view of a... More
