I was here with a tour group so I did bot have a room choice. I had a 7th floor room. It was very clean and looked like the bath room had recently been renovated. It was clean and modern. One thing I found interesting in Italy is that the shower tub combo's only have about 1/3 of a glass... More

After experiencing the terrible service of this hotel's staff, I realized that this is a part of the hotel chain that owns and runs the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo in Florence. Find out what other hotels are a part of this chain and STAY AWAY. Holy cow!!! I'm serious....from the front desk to the restaurant.....HORRIBLE service. To top things off, our... More

This hotel is ideally located, close to many attractions in Rome. We were assigned to a beautiful suite, which included a walk in closet, a large lounge area, and a bedroom behind sliding doors. We also had access to a fridge and coffee maker. The WiFi was not easy to access without assistance from the front desk. Our room was... More

While this is located a short walk from the Colosseum, the hotel is on a noisy street. Which would be OK if you did not have to sleep with the windows open at night. We went in April of 2014 and the AC was not turned on yet. It was too hot to sleep so we had to open the... More

Hotel is very close to Colosseum, Roman Forums (10 min walking). You can also reach Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navonna, Piazza del Popollo and Pantheon very easily. Room we got was clean and comfortable. Breakfast good as well. And the front desk people were nice and easy for giving us touristic information. If you're in doubt for picking a hotel... More

We had booked into the Grand Hotel Palatino for a special birthday celebration. The promise of an executive room with balcony and panoramic views was compelling. Unfortunately the view was obstructed by a protruding structure which was part of the hotel and we overlooked a housing urbanisation. We were also disappointed that our room (806) balcony received no direct sunshine... More

We stayed for five nights in “Grand Hotel Palatino” in August 2014. Location of that hotel is really great. It takes only a minute to get the Church of san Pietro in Vincoli where you can see both miraculously welded chains of Saint Peter. In five minutes walk you will get Roman and Imperial forums with the Column of Trojan.... More

The hotel staff were among the rudest I have ever seen/experienced. One example - we were out most of one day with a tour and after returning we discovered that our room smelled heavily of smoke. We called the front desk and their response was "well who smokes in your room?". So rude it could have been the cleaning crew... More

I stayed here as a group of 5 friends and we all loved it. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The hotels rooms were spacious, clean and had a modern feel. The bathrooms was cleaned everyday and was clean. The staff at reception were always very helpful especially the 2 ladies at reception. Every... More
