Lovely hotel and the staff were, in the main, largely attentive. Bar prices very reasonable indeed. Hotel situated in a fairly grubby street but don't be put off by that. Would recommend stopping at Ambra Palace.

When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that we booked an economy room and that the room was very small. We felt like we were low class although we paid a fair price. The room was very small but clean. We had no Window, no air and it was very hot which we couldn`t even breath. The... More

I had booked 4 nights to stay at this hotel but I only stayed 1 because I booked through booking and I got what they call economy room. As soon as I arrived the receptionist told me straight away< that madam you booked economy so to upgrade you have to pay extra 15 euros a day>. The room was tiny.... More

The staff are very friendly and courteous. The rooms are neat and comfortable. Although the location doesn't seem great at first it actually is. The hotel is close to the termini and we found we could find our way all around Rome from here. We could even walk around the city until very late at night.

Stayed in this hotel for a week long business meeting; it happened to be close to the venue. In the 6 months since the last report, this hotel has made some changes. To take things in order 1. Reception. Seems to always be at least two people on. Given the size of the hotel, this is more than adequate and... More

Location is good if you want to be close to Termini station - 10 walk and the Metro is just a block behind the hotel. Room was very clean, quite large and spacious but the bed was a little hard for my liking. Free buffet breakfast was adequate to fill your tummy. Wait staff was friendly. Front desk staff excellent,... More

This hotel is located close to the termini. I stayed at this hotel for a night, room was very small and the AC was not working but the internet was free. If you're looking for cheap accommodation near the termini then this is ok place to crash. Also there is Radisson Blu 2 blocks from here which looked good from... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 night on a 7 nights holiday across Italy and France. This hotel was fantastic, the staff were really friendly and helpful in giving us advise on where to go and eat, room was spotless. The hotel is located within a 2 minute walk to the metro which is ideal. We walked to collesium... More

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights with 82 year old mother on first trip to Rome. Staff could not have been more helpful. They organised for rental/delivery of wheel chair for our arrival , and when we had problems with it got it replaced. Rooms are fine and breakfast was reasonable. Location could be better , is short walk to... More

We stayed here in 2011 and recently in September 2013. Both times we had good, quiet clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Perfect location if your are arriving or departing Rome by train and wasy walking distance to the Coliseum and other monuments. A safe area at day and night.
