Staff great room lovely and breakfast very good. What a pity it is in a rough area by 150 yards. It's very handy for all transport buses trains and metro but stick to the main busy road to access the hotel. It's just a little too much in an area you don't want to be alone in at night. Otherwise... More

We generally enjoyed the stay at this hotel. We had 2 adjoining rooms. We were disappointed that the staff argued with us regarding the phrase "12 and under". Because our youngest daughter would have been 13 in 2 months, they said she did not fall in the 12 and under category. They conceded but it was frustrating. Did not feel... More

A nice compact hotel located to the rail termini and a metro station and walking distance from the colloseum. No lawns no parks just rooms and a sumptuous breakfast. As a tourist looking for comfortable night stay, filling breakfast and easy communications, this hotel meets the requirements adequately. The neighbourhood though, appears to be a bit unsafe but may not be... More

No problems, service was good, and all staff pleasant. Had room service one night and the quality of the food was really good and the price, surprisingly cheap. Hotel is within easy walking distance to Termini Rail station

The hotel is located 10 minutes form Termini train station and 15 minutes from coliseum, the subway is 5 minutes away all of this walking. The staff is very friendly in the moment that you arrive they explain you with a map all the touristic places in the city.

The hotel is close to the subway station. It is a walk to get to restaurants. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was great. We had a great time while visiting Rome. Be cautious of pick pockets on the train. I was pick pocketed very quickly by a teenager.

We spent a week at this hotel at beginning of June. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the main station. The nearest metro station is situated at the rear of the block the hotel is on - less than 5 minutes walk. The tobac along from the hotel sells tickets for the metro.... More

We stayed here with large extended family for a couple of days before heading further south to a family wedding. The location of the Hotel is perfect – no more than 10 mins walk to the Railway Station Roma Termini and 15 minutes to the Coliseum. The Hotel rooms are I would say “city size” meaning not overly large but... More

We were very happy with our short stay at the Ambra Palace. It is handy to the Roma Termini station and the Vittorio Emmanuele Metro station. The street it is in is a bit daunting at first, with lots of street traders, and apparent itinerants, and one should take care with handbags, etc., but this is the only drawback I... More

Extremely handy for the main station, the Termini. I would also recommend Trenitalia as the fast (300 Kms/hr) train whisked us down in comfort from Milan and then back in less than 3 hours. The hotel was an easy 10 minute walk away. Don't be put off by the number of immigrants in the area. They are mainly men going... More
