Since this hotel was my choice for one night, it was, let’s say, OK. The hotel is on the very bad location if you want to do sightseeing of Rome, but if you want to just to relax next to the pool it is absolutely fine. The pool is the only plus for this place. Check in: I was waiting... More

I stayed at this hotel last July with my family (3 adults and 1 child) for a sport tournament-organised event. We managed to get a Triple room which made it affordable for us. The triple room consisted of a Queen-sized bed and a single sofa bed. Here are my quick comments about the hotel. 1. Food is really expensive. It's... More

I'm a Melia Rewards member, and couldn't beat the price of the rooms in this hotel. Sure, it is outside of everything happening in Rome, but if you are OK with taking a train/bus/taxi/walking then this shouldn't be a problem as long as your luggage isn't overweight (as mine was!). It's a little out of the way for those who... More

I would not recommend this hotel for several reasons but mainly because of the very poor shuttle bus service and management follow up of complaints. Without going into major detail, along with 45 other passengers I tried to use the shuttle service from Rome back to the hotel Last night. They sent a 20 seater bus and told the other... More

This hotel is clean and modern. The staff are not very helpful and we had trouble with internet connection. The price is 3euros for 1/2 hour per device. Terrible connection. Computers kept freezing and kicking me off the site. Tried to print my boarding pass and I had to email it to the front desk and they would print it... More

The hotel is good 4 star property, there is a hourly shuttle bus that takes you to city center, but we had a bad experience of bus leaving before time back from city center to the hotel, and it was the last shuttle for the day, and we had to take a cab to the hotel. The hotel refused to... More

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your opinions on Tripadvisor. We've already addressed your claim about the episode you describe. The electronic software of the the bus didn't prove that the timetable wasn't respected. We refund you the price of the shuttle tickets, but we couldn't refund you the price of the taxi. As other users will read this review,... More

The Melia Aurelia Antica is a nice 4 star hotel which is getting quite old. There does not seem to be any signs of renovation. The rooms are mid-sized and the bathroom is good for an italian hotel. Breakfast is quite average with normal choices. Wifi is paid, but is free for one hour with a Melia account. The room... More

This hotel was very good. Friendly staff, nice rooms, good food and good pool. However, it's too far out of the city which is a great shame. There is a shuttle bus which runs frequently but it takes a half hour in to the centre and out again. Not much to do at night as there is nothing else near... More

me: the electrical outlet doesn't work. them: yes we know. me: the bathroom lights won't go on them: we'll let you know. Way out of Rome. Plan on an additional 50 euros per day just for cabs to rome and back. 100 euros to port and don't plan on their shuttle to rome. Don't expect them to know anything about... More
