Very nice hotel in side needed a bit of cosmetic TLC outside. Excellent rooms, choice of pillows, clean and all the accessories in the bathroom. For those tired of getting your shaving foam and toothpaste confiscated at the airport, don't worry hotel provides everything in the rooms. More incredible, the room rate is very competitive. Nice pool and bar and... More

Hotel was about 30 minutes bus ride away from the Vatican drop area. Most of the travelers thought the shuttle was free but it was 3 Euro for round trip and it ran almost every hour. Walls were too thin that we could hear everything like if it was from the hallway. The room layout and bathrooms were nice and... More

We love the Melia hotel chain, and had a pleasant stay here, it is not an awful hotel by any means, it is a nice hotel but this particular Melia hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The location is out of the city centre and there is a distinct lack of feeling like you are in Rome, however there... More

We were supposed to stay two nights as part of a a cruise/stay/fly package. The approach to the hotel in the bus made me leary; grafitti was abundant and a nearby office building was abandoned and in poor shape. The hotel was worn. Our room had carpet that was stained and shabby. Mold on the wall above the toilet had... More

Pluses: the pool, the prompt taxi calling service, nice people working at the nice gift shop Minuses: Staff not very helpful, carpets stained and badly worn, high fees for internet usage, despite being a Melia rewards member which is supposed to provide FREE wifi, Inconvenient shuttle times, located too far from the heart of the city, seems like the same... There is lots of room for improvement in this hotel. They charge for wi-fi where most places offer it for free. When using the shower, the floors will get very wet because their shower door is half a door. One good service was the shuttle bus to the center of Rome. Breakfast was included and it was OK.

First of all, the hotel's location was a bit out of the way. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center using the hotel's shuttle service. That said, hotel guests need to pay for the shuttle (5 euros return; 3 euros one way) which was the only way out of the hotel other than a taxi. Also, there... More

Reminded me of the deserted hotel in the Shining. Felt like 2 people worked at the hotel, even though it was fully booked. Internet service is setup like it was in 1982: you have to pay PER DEVICE: 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day or 2 days. Receive a code from reception who keep a log. They write it down... More

I suspect there have been some planted reviews on this hotel. Unless Rome is completely booked or you have to stay here for a Conference (as did I) I wouldn't recommend staying here. Here are the pluses - decent convention facilities, nice lobby and pool, bedding was ok. The bad; First of all you are far away from Rome so... More

I attended a conference in this hotel. It was absolutely the worst hotel experience I have had. The room was bad, but it was still the best of the other "features" this hotel had. Food was terrible, if it would have been any chances to eat somewhere else during the conference it would have been a blessing. The facilities for... More
