My partner and I stayed with Ripa for one week. The location was great as the 8 Tram is so convenient. Also the local neighborhood of Trastevere is so great as it is close to all the areas of interest but is not so tourist filled as to change the local flavor. This also means lower prices and great food!... more

We really liked the location. All we had to do was jump on the tram to Argentina, from there you could walk to all of the cool piazza's and tourist spots. The restaurants just off the piazza's offered the best food we had in italy. would stay again! more

I stayed here despite some warnings about being out of the way. But I loved my room, it was one of the biggest I have had in Europe for the price. It had a good shower, balcony, living room, small kitchen. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was not too bad. Easy walk to Trastevere with tons of... more

Having just returned from Rome (and oh, how I miss it!), I was surprised to see the most recent review of this hotel. I thought it was good value. I think we paid about £115 a night and I certainly remember it being one of the cheaper options in Rome (whilst still in a nice area). We had a huge... more

I stayed three nights at the Ripa recently and had two very different experiences based on the room I was given. As a background, I booked my stay via hotels.com at an incredibly low $120 a night (Rome in September tends to be rather expensive). Upon checking in, I was given room 119, which is on the first floor and... more

No idea how this is a four-star hotel. $200+ a night. Ripped carpet. Shower curtain that barely reaches the top of the tub strongly encourages flooded bathroom. Falling apart fold out couch. Very hard mattress, but not impossibly uncomfortable. Outrageously expensive wifi. Housekeeping took away the soap and didn't replace it. The hotel staff is not rude. They are indifferent... more

After reading some of the reviews in the Internet, I was a bit concerned about the level of the Ripa Hotel as we already had paid our rooms. Luckily from the arrival everything well more than perfectly; the staff was always very helpful, corteous and friendly. They did their best to help us with all the problems we had. They... more

I have travelled a lot and stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world, but recently I had the pleasure of staying in a fantastic hotel while I was on vacation in Rome. I stayed at the Ripa Hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Actually the room was really the size of a suite, but the price... more

We went to rome in april and it was the perfect time, not too warm or swarming with crowds. the hotel was wonderful, rooms were minimalistic, clean and very comfortable. The staff were ace. On my bitrhday the left a bottle of champagne in the room! And the breakfast buffet was great to chow down to before the start of... more

The Ripa hotel moonlights as a boutique hotel, but unless you are one of the lucky guests who get the suite pictured on their promo photos (if it indeed exists), your experience will be that of a standard aparthotel. Upon first entering the lobby area is surely has the feel of a trendy up and coming place tucked away in... more

Thank you so much for staying at the Ripa Hotel. We appreciate the comments about your experience. Due to the property's size we do not position the Ripa as a boutique hotel. However, we do strive to position our service as warm and cordial like that of a smaller property. Thanks also for mentioning our quaint neighbourhood, of which we...
