I stayed here with my partner for 6-nights and the location is just fantastic for visit Rome. We arrived off our flight and got to the hotel before check-in, however we were pleasantly surprised to be checked in early. Our room (101) was on the 1st floor and was very spacious, almost like a suite with partitioned bedroom/lounge area. Although... More

Stayed 4 nights and was very comfortable are whole stay. Had a room with a great view of the colosseum. We visited the rooftop bar each night with great views and good drinks. Across the street was a little neighborhood that was loaded with restaurants and bars. Would stay here again.

I have just returned home from visiting this hotel and all I can say is wow. Some of the negative reviews did put me off slightly but please trust me when I tell you that this hotel is nothing but amazing. I visited here with my partner for our anniversary and we enjoyed every second of it. I'll start by... More

Very accessible hotel within 5-10 minute walk of both metro lines. Breakfast good value if you take advantage of buffet style. If you only go once it is overpriced. Very kind staff and nice room. (All rooms in Rome seem small at all hotels so don't let any reviews saying that put you off). Pool very nice with good views.... More

Nice and clean hotel in the centre of Rome. Perfect base for a visit of the city. Nice rooftop terrace with swimming pool excellent to cooldown after a tour of the city, good breakfast. Nearby the colosseum and metro, shops and restaurants are just around the corner.

Visited in 2011 September, nice clean hotel. Rooms very small by north american expectations but totally functional. 2minute walk to the coliseum. Staff friendly and helpful and tried very hard to overcome language issues. Breakfast included was very good. Restaurant on rooftop pretty good but limited menu. Excellent ambiance on rooftop lounge. Would definitely return.

Ideal hotel for exploring Rome. Very close to Colosseum and Forum, bus stops outside and metro nearby. Very modern, smallish room with no seating area other than at desk but had a nice small balcony with a view of the Colosseum. Free wi fi and free safe included. No drawers in room so used suitcase instead! Breakfast was great with... More

We couldn't have picked a better location. Minutes from the metro stop, minutes from the Colosseum, in fact we can see it from our room! Modern hotel, clean and very helpful staff, my brother recommended this hotel and I am so glad I stayed. Perfect in forth way. Didn't have breakfast here and bar v expensive but rooftop pool is... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
