Reminiscent of a student hall of residence but without any of the fun. The hotel is in need of a major refurbishment. The carpets are threadbare and rooms/beds are tiny and the showers even smaller. One lift serves all eight floors, so be prepared to queue at breakfast time. Avoid staying in hot weather as the air conditioning is inadequate...

Whilst in the best possible location for the Colosseum, and having a modern exterior, attractive lobby and roof/pool areas, and great staff who couldn't be more helpful, this hotel is dreadfully let down by its tatty corridors and old rooms. I would say the rooms are 2* whilst the rest is an acceptable 4*.
