This hotel is centrally located in Rome with a 15 min. walk to the Colosseum or 15 min. walk to a major bus, train, and subway station. The hotel is located on a major street but didn't have any major noise issues. The area was well lit and poplulated at night and had numerous excellent dining options. The rooms were... more

I moved from Russia(Moscow) to live in rome for business reasons. I was reserved from my company for a 14 days in the Hotel Borromeo (where I already was once in a previous holiday in Rome), and then I moved in an flat near the Colosseum where I actually live. The Hotel was again perfect for my long stay. Because... more

I had a very pleasant stay in the Hotel Borromeo, together with my family. The room was large enough for the 4 of us and very quiet. We loved the area of the Hotel, close to the most important sites. A small nice hotel, clean and very well keeped. more

I will always remember the Borromeo Hotel as this was my first time in Italy! I'm soooo glad I decided to book this hotel. It has a small-hotel charm to it. The location is SUPERB! You're in the middle of everything...Termini Station is very close...we walked to the hotel. The major sights, like the Coloseum and the Foro Romano are... more

A nice 3 star hotel, close to the antiquity era ruins (forum, colusseum, etc.) but further from the vatican, piazza navona, trevi fountain, pantheon. There's a subway station 2 minutes walk from the hotel (b line) which is very convenient. Rooms: quite small, safe included, tv, fridge, nicely decorated. Bathroom: Shower, clean, fresh amenities every day. everything worked and was... more

Reading here that the room in the Borromeo are even small in European standards didn't make me change my mind about the booking. Why should I care? This is rome, and I would probably be spending the entire day outside, just spending a few hours in the room for sleeping what I come back after a day of shopping... Boy,... more
