Booked last minute on strength of price and online reviews, and this little simple hotel has all you need, right int he centre of Rome, We had a small but quiet en-suite room, spotless clean and comfortable, with a littel marble bathroom. Since we did not spend much time in it, size was never an issue. Can walk easily from... more

I like this hotel! Been here with friends in October, just few days ago.We were a group of friends from Russia and we all had the same feeling with the Hotel Borromeo! Excellent staff, clena large rooms, great breakfast. The price we paid was reasonable comparing to other hotels, and we surely have chosen the right hotel. Rome is wonderful,... more

We have been here for 4 nights, we found it trough a friend of ours who was here few monts ago. The staff was very warm and helpful(we felt teh... more

A small, pleasant hotel in very central location, within walking distance of the principal Roman archeological sites. We had a small, slightly cramped but comfrtable room, with excellent shower/bath, on the second floor at the back of the hotel. No view, but also no noise. There is a good Continental breakfast on the enclosed roof terrace. Although there is no... more

Just back from 3 nights at the Borromeo. We had a small room on the 2nd floor with a decent bathroom and a large comfortable bed. Everything worked and the shower was great. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English. For the price, we thought it was good value, as the position, equidistant from the station and the... more

We stayed in this hotel for four nights last week and the location of this hotel was excellent, about 10 minutes to Termini station and also to the Colosseum. However, if you are looking for a spacious/luxious room to relax in after all the sight seeing; be warned! The room was absolutely tiny, just about cramming in a double bed.... more

This hotel is centrally located in Rome with a 15 min. walk to the Colosseum or 15 min. walk to a major bus, train, and subway station. The hotel is located on a major street but didn't have any major noise issues. The area was well lit and poplulated at night and had numerous excellent dining options. The rooms were... more

I moved from Russia(Moscow) to live in rome for business reasons. I was reserved from my company for a 14 days in the Hotel Borromeo (where I already was once in a previous holiday in Rome), and then I moved in an flat near the Colosseum where I actually live. The Hotel was again perfect for my long stay. Because... more
