We stayed in Rome for an extended weekend and were planning to go on day trips using trains and buses. Therefore we were looking for a hotel close to Termini and Hotel Borromeo fit that description, just a 5 min walk to get there. The staff was helpful right from the start and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are... More

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Hotel Borromeo. The staff were very friendly, the hotel is convenient to reach most of the antiquities by foot and not too far from the train station. The breakfast was great and the neighborhood interesting. Would definitely stay here again.

My family, with an entourage of 15 members, stayed in Borromeo Hotel. It has a safe and convenient location, and behind Cavour Street, just minutes away by foot are trattorias with good food and reasonable prices. Exceptional services were provided by the concierge, particularly Gigi and Alessandro. They were warm, very accommodating to any request, and helpful in providing information... More

We had a family of 4 adults and the hotel provided us with a comfortable room and great breakfast on a nice patio every morning. Great location and within walking distance to great restaurants, central train station and the Collisium.

Its location is very convenient to all the major sites in Rome. The staff were very helpful and courteous to all our requests and needs. I like to cite Gigi (day shift) who always offered a refreshing drink to my family after a hot day's outing and chocolates to the children. Allessandro (night shift) was also very nice.

Really good location. It's close to the Colosseum and Termini Station. If you enjoy walking, it's not even that far from Piazza Venezia and most of the touristic attractions. Some nice restaurants around there and a great gelateria (S.M. Maggiore) just around the corner. The staff is really nice and helpful! On arrival they explained to us how to move... More

Very well appointed although simple, was very clean, comfortable and provided all necessities. Everything was adequate including the buffet breakfast. Stayed there twice May and September 2014. Perfect location, as you can walk to all major attractions. Although on major road it was quiet at night with the windows closed and the air conditioning on. Restaurants on Via Cavour were... More

I would recommend the place due to its location and proximity with roma termini and colosseum. Also there is cavour metro just next to it which makes commuting very easy. Watch out for the corner rooms as they have very weak WiFi signals. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Some rooms are real small.

Chose the hotel because of its position close to the Train Station and not far from the Colosseum. Found that it was easy to get a bus ( only 6 euros) from the airport to the station . There was a ticket office almost opposite the hotel so it was really easy to get a ticket back The hotel is... More

Stayed at hotel Borromeo recently, no complaints with my stay. Breakfast was a lovely selection of hot food and pastry. Staff were helpful and friendly. Virgilio in particular I got on well with, very knowledgeable about the city and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome.

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
