The location was great it wasn't too far from the station nor from tourist attractions. The bedroom was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of food and it tasted good. And on top of that, the pizzeria located just on the other side of the street is... More

We travelled to this hotel from Manchester, England for a 1 night stay in December 2014. We booked through late rooms and had high expectations of the place due to reading good reviews and its 4* rating. Our expectations were met with ease. Apart from the manager, who seemed to look down on us due to the fact we were... More

Stayed here two nights last weekend, booked through BA. Its in a great spot, lovely staff and only a short walk to all of Romes attractions, but just tucked away to avoid the crowds, lots of embassies in the area, so very very safe at night, as is most of Rome. We opted to pay more for a superior room,... More

We got a super deal on Through Priceline for this hotel. I was little concern it was far away from all attractions and isolated, instead we found out to be off the beaten touristic path in a more authentic part of Rome and yet close to everything! Spacious rooms for European standards, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. My only... More

We stayed only one night before leaving rome. The staff were very friendly and the room was nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was AMAZING! A huge range of cooked and fresh options. Our only issue was that our shower would not drain fast and I had to turn it off and wait for it to drain a few times... More

The Gambrinus is a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially Roberta. Our luggage was delayed and she followed up with the airport for me, gave me directions to a shop that sells the basics! Breakfast was an amazing choice of continental and cooked breakfast, bacon, eggs and tomatoes,a lovely start to the day. The room floors are tiled... More

Stayed December 2014. Room was immaculate, well furnished with sat tv, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and safe all provided. En-suite shower cubicle was very small though and uncomfortable to use. Excellent breakfast and great location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gambrinus. The room was large and comfortable, with the only exception being a shower that was a bit of a pain due to the way it was laid out (the bathroom floor would flood with water). The hotel staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast every day was also very good, and had... More

Stayed here overnight while my wife & I were en route to our cruise from Civitavecchia. It is rather remote from the centre of the city, but since that wasn't the reason for our stay it wasn't an issue. Even though our choices in the area weren't great we also found a nice restaurant nearby & had a good evening... More
