This hotel was amazing! The location is perfect! It was located right outside the touristy area that we wanted to visit and it was far enough to get local cuisine. It also had friendly staff with a great breakfast. I couldn't have asked for more.

This was one of the better hotels we've stayed in. Our staff was very friendly and extremely helpful in showing us all the best spots and even how to save money! I would highly recommend this hotel and ask the staff - they will help you plan out your entire trip and show you hole-in-the-wall authentic Italian restaurants! and places... More

it was our first time in Italy and our very first stop was Rome. we booked this hotel via a local travel agency who said that this was a 4 star hotel, thus the not so cheap tag price that came with it. we got to the hotel and was greeted by a not so welcoming receptionist. he seemed tired... More

I (female) traveled with a female companion on a trip booked through a travel agency. The tiny hot room with a tiny shower stall, three hangers in the armoire, had a tiny bed. When we asked for two beds, we were told that we had a "marital" reservation and we must contact our travel agency. After much argument, we were shown... More

We stayed here for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. Our concierge, Davide, was really nice and helpful in informing us of everything we needed to know about navigating Rome. I would highly recommend this spot and when you get here, ask for Davide, he'll take good care of you!

We checked in here after a train ride form Paris.Rooms were fine. Not 4 star but fine. The team were helpful and were able to give plenty of advise on where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was a good selection and kept us going for the day. There is a great pizza restaurant across the road, very... More

This hotel is well situated for the traveller who likes to walk. Clean, well decorated rooms and an expansive breakfast buffet. Best feature is the outstandingly good gelateria, la romana, very nearby.

My wife and my 17 year old daughter stayed at the Hotel Gambrinus for 4 days in early July. After losing most of our luggage between Zurich and Rome we arrived at the Hotel after Midnight. Although the Bookit.com reservation had shown a triple room the night clerk explained that there were no true triple rooms in the Hotel, so... More

First time traveling to Italy - hotel was highly recommended by travel agency for having four stars. It was not even close to four stars. We stayed two days prior to our cruise and two days after our cruise. Too bad we paid for everything ahead of time through travel agency because I would not have stayed the last two... More
