After reading some of the reviews for this hotel, expectations were not high. However, having just returned from our 4 night break there, the bad reviews seem totally unjustified. Having stayed in many European hotels that claim to be 4 star, this one is one of the best. We travelled with two children and they loved playing in the pool... More

The men that run the front desk is like an old boys club. If you ask them a question that they think is dumb; they'll make a snooty remark. Look for the ladies to help. Bathrooms are clean, but the pressure in the water isn't great. Spa is way too expensive for what it is. The location isn't great either... More

Great pool and bus to Vatican museum makes this a good choice for families but that's as far as it goes. Food isn't replenished at self service breakfast a full 40 minutes before doors are closed which is very poor and on two occasions meant I had no breakfast, not impressed! Pool bar food should come with a health warning,... More

Could be a nice hotel but the entire property needs major renovation ... The carpet in the rooms and around the hotel are filthy. Chairs in lobby are extremely worn..sliding door lock are broken. I requested an upstairs room to feel safer...definitely not up to american standards...

We stayed here for one night as part of a Globus bus tour package. The hotel is large and has lovely views. It isn't walking distance to any of the major attractions so more for those on a tour or with a car. The staff at the hotel were helpful but are not friendly or smiling. We had breakfast there... Overall it was nice. The rooms felt more like I was at my house. There were two things that caused major concern for me. 1. When you walked in the room you could literally look up inside the ceiling. There were no ceiling tiles. 2. The electricity kept going in and out. Like someone kept turning a vacuum on and... More

I read with some concern reviews of this Hotel and attitudes of the staff, I found the opposite but did witness rude guests provoking staff. I had occasion to visit twice in July. The first time I couldn't have been treated better. The staff were great especially the restaurant staff but being out of Rome the prices are a bit... More

We stayed here three nights. It was a good hotel. The pool and the little children's park was great for our two children. The restaurant was good for dinner, but expensive. We did eat there twice as there didn't seem to be much around the hotel without using the car. It is not in the centre of Rome which was... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Villa Pamphili as part of a tour group. We were fortunate to have transportation around the city, thus I cannot attest to convenience. Rome is a typical busy, dirty city and I am not sure how convenient or safe the bus or public transportation -- I think there was a bus stop. However,... More

We were 4 ladies (age 23-53) spending 5 days/4 nights in Rome. Hotel was very good. Staff was excellent. Thank you very much to everybody there for excellent service in every way - we were so well welcomed. Breakfast is very nice. Poolarea is great when it's a sunny day. Hotel is a little bit away from Centrum, but it... More
