We stayed for 7 nights at Domus Quiritum and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of domestic calm and relaxation it afforded. Our room was very comfortable, had a very pleasant view across the piazza and in the morning the sun would slant in through the window to invite us out into Rome. Lucilla was an exceptionally thoughtful hostess, assisted us in... More

And I say home in every sense of the word! When my wife and I (just married) arrived in Rome we did not know what to expect from the B & B we had booked. All our doubts vanished when Lucilla greeted us at the door with a warm smile, telling us "welcome home". We were home indeed... Entering, we... More

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and the staff were really lovely. The location is a short walk to Vatican City and Castel St Angelo. We also walked to the Colossuem which I recommend because there is so much to see along the way.

Had a 4-days-stay in Rome and selected B&B Domus Quiritum for this trip. It resulted to be a "best choice" for our requirements as a couple. We received a very warm welcome and were serviced outstandingly good being given lots of tips and recommendations. In our sense DQ is perfectly located in a quiet block but you reach Vatican as... We stayed here for our last 2 days of our honeymoon. The rooms are situated a 10 minute walk from The Vatican and close to a bus route which takes you into Rome. The room was very nice and our hosts were extremely helpful, showing us where to go on a map and recommending places to eat.

The premises were recently renovated, clean and cosy. The room was spacious, even with an extra bed. Bed was probably best I have ever had in a hotel. Free wi-fi worked well. The breakfast was generous, traditional Italian/Roman style. Location was reasonable, close to Vatican, and almost walking distance to most attractions. The nearest metro station was just few blocks... More

What a welcom and service you receive here. Our first visit to Rome, about 10 years, we choosed for an international class hotel. This time we selected B&B Domus Quiritum, a much much better decision. A very good and quite location, very clean room, typical Rome breakfast with local natural products and everyday a big smile from Lucilla. She was... More

No, I didn't stay in Domus Quiritum but I highly recommend the place because of Lucilla, the owner! Previously, me and my friends should have stayed but then it wasn't possible due to DQ's capacity and we were moved to another bed and breakfast. However, Lucilla was still in contact with me, she helped me to organize our stay, airport... More

Staying at this friendly, immaculate B&B took away all the traditional city trip stresses. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet at night - and great value for our family of 4. The copious breakfast was different each morning, and always featured fresh pastries, fresh coffee and delicious organic juices. The B&B's stand-out feature was its kind, intelligent... More

Rooms: White, spacious, clean and with pieces of classic wooden furniture. The ensuite bathroom was surprisingly big. We didn't experience any trouble with street noise or sounds from the other rooms. The bed was big and comfy so we slept well. The WiFi in La Camera dell'Artista was quite bad, but they were working on the problem. Breakfast: There were... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
