We usually stay in hotels while traveling overseas. This time we went for B&B and we were more than satisfied. Domus Quirtium was just as described in the website. What you see is what you get. The facility is run by two charming young ladies, Lucilla and Livia and we had the pleasure to stay at their B&B. The room... More

For a true Italian home experience, B&B is the way to go! Domus Quiritium (DQ) was the perfect B&B. Excellent hosts, morning breakfasts, spic and span rooms and most importantly excellent advise on what to do in the city. Our hostess actually took us around to St Peters Cathedral, to her fav restaurant for a true Italian lunch and to... More

I stayed at Domus Quiritum for 3 nights in August and it was fantastic. Great location and a quiet, airy and spacious room. The hosts/staff were amazing, particularly Livia who went above and beyond in explaining things on the map and offering vast amounts of advice and help navigating the city. Loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

From getting a warm introduction email after booking, to the friendly hospitality, everything was wonderful. Lucilla made us feel comfortable and welcome, and gave us great advice on what to do and see (and eat :) ) during our 4 night stay in Rome. The astronomer's room we had was so comfortable - I wanted to take the bed home.... More

Rome is a big and crowded city. Thank you Lucilla for make us feel home after all long journey of each day. Despite the host hospitality, B&B itself is new, clean and modern. Highly recommend to any travellers who want to stay in residential area with warm welcome of Lucilla. Thank you for warm and yummy croissants every morning! Virisa... More

My husband and I stayed at Domus Quiritum for seven nights at the end of October. I want to comment on two things: the location and our hosts. First, we loved the location. We were able to walk to all the major sites. We walked everywhere, in fact, and loved it. The b&b is in a residential neighborhood, so at... More

Six ladies travelling together, we were so lucky to have all the 3 rooms to ourselves. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms are roomy and beautiful. Lucilla and Emiliano were both great, friendly and helpful. Helping us with our other arrangements like getting my train ticket to Assissi, showing us where to get great coffee, gelato, etc. The highlight of... More

We loved everything about this B&B; the friendly and helpful hostess Lucilla and cycling Emiliano, the rooms, the cleanliness, the breafast with endless supply of good coffee and drinks, the location, the roof, the tips and the cycling tour (although we couldn't sit for a day or so, so beware!). Highly recommend enjoying the hospitality of this homey and luxurious... More

My boyfriend and I spent a couple of days and this great little B&B. The location is brilliant and the host was so helpful in recommending local places to eat and how to avoid some of the queues!! We stayed 4 nights at Domus Quiritum B&B: It's only about 10-15 minutes walk to Vatican city, and pretty quiet. Before we arrived in Italy, we're already warned about the general comfortable level of most hotels here; however, Domus Quiritum B&B is definitely an exception: nice place, relaxed ambient, and most importantly, Livia is a great host and always make... Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
