This hostel is one of the best ive stayed in so far. I felt right at home. My single room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and the bean bags are a comfy place to relax. The staff were very helpfull. Id love to come again. Thanks so much!

Wonderful hostel! Big room, very clean and nice staff! Really easy to reach from the station and to all the others sightseeing! International atmosphere and right price for Rome, especially for this period!

Overall I would highly recommend this hostel! I stayed for 4 nights and this was the end of a month long trip in Europe. It was definitely one of the better hostels I stayed at in Europe - location is great: about a 10 minute walk from termini station and close to all the main attractions like the Spanish steps... Stayed in the 1st floor mixed dorm for one night in July. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and super helpful. Make sure you take a copy of the directions with you so you can find it (even with the directions I got a bit lost). It is centrally located and a great base to explore the sights of Rome.... More

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting la città eterna, this might be the right pick. It is not a party hostel, so if you want at all costs to meet people for partying try somewhere else. Staff 5/5: super friendly and helpful. Location5/5: great, it is a 7 min. walk to the Barberini metro... More

Location: 4/5 - You can walk to most of the major sites in Rome from here. It's just round the corner from Hard Rock cafe. The station isn't too far either. The only thing about the location is that there isn't an underground station very close. Wifi: 4/5 - Was pretty good. It was fine in the room & common... More

I stayed at the Contrara twice on different nights, the first night was fine, however if you can request what building to stay ask for the one that conects with the stairs at the bar. The first night we stayed in the one across the reception and it was not as clean as the other one. They give you a... More

This hostel really feels like home. So close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Not to far away from Roma Termini station. You can walk or take a bus to get to the hostel. Overall, the hostel is clean and tidy.

There is not much people on the hostel, so a party atmospher is a little unlikely. I expected a breakfast a little better, but overall is a very good value for money this hostel. The location is not great, but it's good enough.

Very clean place, has everything you need, fairly central location, and exceptionally helpful workers! Especially good place to stay in an otherwise very expensive city. I would stay here again. Also it is in a residential building, which is cool to experience.
