This hotel claims to be 4*. However its hard to understand how they achieved this. The rooms are not very large and some only have shower cubicles which if you are over 5ft and larger than a size 10 then it is a tight squeeze if you want to wash without touching the sides. There are no tissues, gowns or slippers... More

Very good value, comfortable hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and included hot egg and bacon, not usually a component of a continental breakfast. It was close to the Borghese Park and not far from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. I would definitely recommend it to anyone as a good base for visiting Rome at a... More

Great Roman style rooms but a little far from the main attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel is located close to the US Consulate and about 15 minute walk to Trevi. Front Desk was kind and provided information. No irons in hotel – only option is to dry clean! This hotel is recommended for those who want to be away... More

This hotel looks nothing from the outside but there awaits an experience inside. The lifts are tiny but if you are on the first 2 floors easy to walk. Breakfasts were very good. In the bar area the staff were fantastic. Especially Luca the barman - such a smile. A really good welcome to Rome. Love the deep bath. I... More

The daily breakfast was delicious. My husband loved the pastries! The rooms were small, but clean and the bathrooms were tiny. Walkable to many locations, with several decent dining options nearby. We also found a little market to by drinks and snacks from. ATM close by.

Stayed for three nights in mid-July. This hotel is situated at the top of the city centre, and is still within easy reach of the centre. It is in a quiet and reserved area of Rome. The bedrooms are small but classically ornate and more than match expectations. The bathroom was grand and impressive. After arriving on honeymoon, we had... More

2 night break via top secret deal on last minute.com. Advised 4 star. I refused first room as there was only the bed and the wardrobe in the room and it was too small to then get the case in! Next room had slightly more room at the end of bed but still felt like a storage room converted into... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days and all I can say is it was a wonderful experience. The furnishings in the bar area and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The room was very clean and the towels were changed every day. The barman Daniellie was charming and friendly, he couldn't do enough for myself and my daughter. The receptionists... More

Check in was easy and simple. The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is adequate, but is on the periphery of what might be deemed 'central'. The cost of the hotel was something that seemed quite lucrative but I had admittedly been tricked by agreeing a rate that required a 'compulsory upgrade' which cost €25 per night. With... More

Got a good deal through lastminute.com. Lovely location and area, spacious and clean room, good hot power shower, lovely hotel bar. However, do not listen to Dillon, one of the receptionists. His English is very good but the information he gave us was wrong and unhelpful. We asked him how to get to Fiumicino Airport; the cheapest option. He told... More
