All good, we are staying in the hotel at the moment. We are two days into our stay and I have no critisism whatsoever. The room is lovely, nice and clean, and styled beautifully. The shower is modern and toilet is exceptionally clean . The only critic I have, which is only something which would make this stay better is... More

The hotel is placed next to Villa Borghese and it is quite good for visiting any part of Rome. Rooms are quite small but furnishing is really suggestive, it seems living in an old roman palace! Breakfast is pretty full, complete from sweets to salty food. Staff is friendly and at your complete disposal for any issue. Price is a... More

The staff was amazing, the hotel beautiful! The room was awesome, we were on the sixth floor facing the inside, it was quiet even with our window open. The breakfast in the morning was huge, not just cereal available - eggs, bacon, meat tray, croissants, toast, pastries, coffee, OJ, grapefruit juice, etc. We ate so much for breakfast that we... Our room was small but clearly high end. Had a top notch shower with very hot water (sometimes hard to get in europe, luke water seems to be popular) and a wonderful waterfall showerhead. A skylight in our room let us fall asleep to the rain and our bed was a king. Simply splendid! Small ish room but you come... More

Within those 4 nights we managed to see nearly everything - perfect location of the hotel contributed a lot. Rooms are nice, staff is friendly and as usually wifi is slow. Would definitely recommend this one as price/value ratio is high. Not many shops in the neaby area but who cares

I really can't recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. We were 4 women exploring Rome for the first time and we were out to have fun... we did. The hotel, it was perfect for us. It was unpretentious, clean, all necessary amenities, and delightfully shabby chic. The... More

We have just returned from our 5 day stay in the Veneto Palace hotel. We booked it as a secret hotel through Lastminute.com and we were not disappointed. The hotel is in a brilliant location, very close (5 minute walk) to the Spanish steps, as it is not on top of the attractions it benefits from being a bit quieter.... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2015

My husband and I travel for pleasure at least once a year. This time, our travel agent booked me in Veneto Palace, while my husband went on to Sicily. I stayed there two nights. My friends stayed there also. This is a wonderful place. It is very centrally located, clean, beautiful, and the staff is incredible. Most hotels in Europe... More

We stayed here for 4 nights it claims to have such a good location I disagree if I was to go again I would stay more central to the city center. The hotel was ok however whenever asking the older/bald receptionist a question I felt I was an inconvenience...Rome is fabulous! If I returned I wouldn't return back to this... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2014. The room was clean and the staff was fine, breakfast was decent, we had no complaints about the hotel, the only disadvantage is the location. We tried to see as much of Rome as we could in 3 days, and while reviewers say this is close to the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
