We could not have asked for a better hotel for our honeymoon. Beautiful surroundings and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent choice for anyone looking for a central location for sight seeing.

We took three rooms for three nights and enjoyed our stay. Staff were most helpful and responsive. When one of our rooms had plumbing difficulties, they moved us to another, nicer room and were gracious enough to deliver a bottle of wine for our trouble. The lobby area and breakfast area are well appointed with cool marble floors. The hallways... More

Stayed for 3 nights in July. Lovely hotel, staff very pleasant and hotel room was excellent. Air condition in room was excellent and was badly needed in July. Hotel is located 10 minutes from Spanish steps and we found it a great base for a trip to Rome. We never used public transport and could walk every where. 3 things... More

Myself and my wife stayed at this hotel in June for five nights. The hotel is in a good location with most of the main tourists areas within a 40 minutes walk max if going all the way to the Vatican. We like to walk so this was ideal for us. There are a quite a few really nice restaurants... More

room was clean, bath modern. walking distance to good restaurants. breakfast buffet was very good with fresh fruits and pastries. The staff spoke English very well and was most accommodating in confirming reservations for cars, tours and giving directions.

Veneto Palace is satisfactory. A clean room with an excellent breakfast. Some of the staff were kind, while others were downright snooty. Parking was a challenge. But it worked for our two days in Italy. I would not return but instead find something more hospitable.

Very clean, nice decoration, kindly staff and excellent breakfast. Also there are a lot of restaurants near and many places to visit. I believe that is a very nice choice if you are going to visit Rome.

We stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights last week. It is central (easy walk to Spanish Steps). Breakfast average, small range, in a room with no windows. Rooms have high ceilings, and lovely bathrooms. Easy to use stairs instead of elevator. Rooms had air conditioning.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
