We stopped here last weekend. Its nothing magical, but it is a very good, practical hotel for a weekend break in Rome. We checked in around 8pm and the reception staff were great, speaking good english and we were checked in within minutes. The room was great, its not as swanky as the photos, but more than adequate, with a... More

Booked this hotel for a city break based on recent reviews and didn't disappoint. Nice decor and fantastic team added to our experience. We were able to do much of our sightseeing on foot quite easily. Nice park nearby and restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed there last weekend , found it very easy to get to with the 910 Bus from Tirmini stopping right outside the door . So many options and sights to go to a walk away aswell with Barbirini , Spanga and Replubicca metro stops not far away . The staff are nice and friendly and the room's spotless . The... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Veneto Palace Hotel for a long weekend in January 2016. Our room was beautiful, with traditional Italian/Roman decor. The hotel itself is only a 45/50 minute (at most) walk away from the main attractions, but the city is so beautiful we really didn't mind it too much! If walking really isn't something you... More

The staff was really helpfull, to explain and recomend the main atractions, specially our Mexican "paisano". The location 10 minutes walk from Metro Barberini, we actually took the metro everyday to arrive the main spots, but we managed to come back walking, because the whole city is a museum, even from el Vaticano, 40-50 minutes walk to the hotel. The... More

if you are looking for a modern hotel this isn't for you. However we loved it. The rooms are quirky and very Italian in golds, reds and antiquity. Breakfast was a treat with freshly ground coffee in any variation you want. Mostly continental items but also scrambled egg and bacon or sausages each day. Fruit yogurts pastries etc etc. The... We stayed for 6 days at the end of November. It was booked as part of an Easyjet holiday, so truthfully combined with slightly mixed reviews on here we didn't have great expectations. The hotel is perfectly fine. It's in a great location, quiet with good restaurants locally (really good Sardinian fish restaurant!). Not far from the main tourist sites... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was good value for money. I would describe it as 3 star plus. A little tired in places but clean. Rooms are a decent size as are the bathrooms. The staff are nice and helpful. The location is fairly good. About a 15 min walk from trevi fountain. There is a bus stop... More

One of the best hotels I had ever been. Beautiful & calm. You have to visit it. All here were very kind with is. The service was great. The rooms were big enough and the beds were rustics. But the best of all were the prices, they are very accessible.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
