We arrived in Rome by train from the airport, the hotel is only a 15min walk from Termini station and is an easy walk. The hotel had a traditional Italian décor and personally we liked that feel to the hotel. We opted for the Breakfast included, there was a selection of pastries and yoghurts and cereals, there was also the... More

My daughter had her wedding by this hotel and our famiy and the groom's family all stayed here last month. That was twenty people ! including nine children. The hotel staff were all very friendly, the rooms were fine and there was a good breakfast layout every morning. Everything we needed or wanted was cheerfully arranged. This hotel is very... More

stayed here for 4 nights in late may, yes it is a little dated but it only adds to the character of the place. Breakfast was ok, room was ok, wi fi was a little slow, the only fault I could really find was with the staff, please smile a little, everyone of them seemed to carry the weight of the... More

Very nice hotel, nice rooms and staff. The location is great, 10 minutes walk from park and 10 minutes ride to city centre. Major downsides are very poor breakfast and very slow WIFI... avoid rooms on 6th floor...

We stayed at Veneto Palace for 4 nights as part of our stay in Rome. The Hotel is nice, Clean and in a good location on 10-15 mins walk to the city centre. The only thing we didn't like, and I believe it was meant to be part of the hotels character was that the rooms were very old fashioned... More

Hotel Yasmin was very conveniently placed near Villa Borghese and just a short walk into city centre. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room beautifully clean, safe worked - very simple to operate, plenty of sockets for phone charging, hair straighteners etc. No problems with Wi-fi. There's a little bar at the end of the road on the corner where... More

We arrived in Rome by train and it took us 20 minutes (at a leisurely pace) to walk to the hotel from Termini Station. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area, not far from the Spanish Steps. Decor is a little faded, but everything was very clean. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed... More

Just had a 2 night stay at the Veneto Palace Hotel. The staff at reception were very helpful and obliging with any questions we had whether it was about the hotel or directions for sightseeing. I had a double standard room which was at the back of the building on the 4th floor. Room quite big enough and bathroom also.... More

This hotel is in the middle of the city so making access to sightseeing, transport and shops easy. The hotel room was clean, tidy and had bathroom products supplied. The room was nothing special but met basic needs. If you want something more special you would need to be further out which for most people is not a viable option.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
